Appalling quality & customer service
I have had 2 sonic pro toothbrushes. The first one, the brush heads never fully locked in place and the harder you push them, the more they are impossible to get off! This toothbrush lasted 6 months before the battery died - Would not charge at all. Spotlight replaced it. The one they sent would not fully charge from the box, and leaving on charge for 48hrs would do about 6 brushes before running out. A replacement was promised but not delivered, now they are not answering emails, phone calls or whatsapp messages.

Glad I'm not in with the 'Spotlight'
I placed an order for the whole family based on a telegraph article and Spotlight UK website reviews but ended up returning for a refund once I read customers' experience on trustpilot and I am pleased that I did. The customer care handled the returns well but I had to pay the postage. The marketing team also endlessly bombard you with daily offers and the prices change more frequently than the NY stock exchange!

As a family we have three of the Spotlight Oral sonic tooth brushes and use the tooth paste, whitening powder and gel ; and have done for a number of years. I have been a very loyal customer.
The minute you sent me a fake email today ‘meant’ to be an internal email then sent an oops email minutes later apologising and offering a special offer as a gesture of goodwill you lost me.
Don’t insult your customers … without your customers you have no business. If you start treating people like they are stupid, they’ll show you how clever they are and take their business elsewhere! Judging by some of the previous reviews on Trust Pilot, I’m not the only one who’s off to shop elsewhere!

DO NOT give them your phone number as they will bombard you with ad all the time. You can't delete or change the phone number.

What a bunch of jokers
What a bunch of jokers. They change their prices every other day. Was about to buy a bundle as they had a new offer but at checkout I noticed delivery price was added. The previous day the price was £3.95 more expensive with no delivery charges. But on the new offer the delivery price was added so price was the same. Your all a bunch of crooks.

The best one I have used
I have owned all the main electric toothbrushes. This is by far the best one I have used. Customer service was fantastic too. I cannot fault them.

I'm genuinely flabbergasted
I'm genuinely flabbergasted, I left a bad review because of the service I'd received and that they were promising to send us through another toothbrush. They contacted me off the back of my bad review and said they'd send us one if we want it.
I said yes I'd like it and since I've had radio silence. Stop messaging me saying your going to send the toothbrush and not following through. I genuinely can't believe how downhill this company has gone. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Problems with charging
When i first bought this it didn’t hold the charge for long, i did contact customer service, they wanted all kinds of info including a video of me charging it so i just put up with it and charged it frequently. It now conks out after two cleans. I like the way it cleans but i now see from the reviews the charging is an issue for a number of other people.

Terrible quality
I have had three replacement toothbrushes and all three of them malfunctioned in less than a year of having them. They are not built to last and are very disappointing quality.

Disappointed after a good start
I purchased this toothbrush and received it in January. It is now September and over the last couple of months it has become increasingly more difficult to turn on, the button requires two thumbs of pressure now and it's not easy to move between the 4 modes.
For the amount of money I paid for this I'd not have anticipated contemplating having to replace it within a year.

Stop working after 6-12 months
I really loved these toothbrushes for some time. However my first one stopped charging after about 6 months, so they gave me a replacement, however around a year later the same happened again to the replacement. So they dont last very long in my opinion. Ive opted now for an oral b one instead.

I have been a devotee of electric toothbrushes almost from their inception and as a result have owned numberless examples from different manufacturers over the years. I bought the Spotlight Oral Care after a review in the Guardian which judged it impressive. The review was no exaggeration. This is a superb product, solid, elegant and well designed, and a highly efficient toothbrush, Simple to use and designed to tailor the operation to degree of cleaning desired. The Spotlight Oral Care Sonic Pro is an astounding revelation. Put simply this is probably the best toothbrush I have ever used, manual or electric. Within days of arrival its quality has made it an essential. I cannot conceive of my buying or using any rival product, because It must be doubtful anything else rivals it. The only addition that could improve it would be the automatic squeezing of the toothpaste onto the brush? Congratulations on the product and reasonable cost.

It's basically a trap
It's basically a trap. They sell you in the too rush at a reasonable price, then the replacement heads are extortionate. Oh, and the best part, all the models of top brush have *separate non interchangable heads*😂. Just another crappy product with designed and inbuilt inconvenience. Just to squeeze more money out of you. Very poor product.

We sell replacement brush heads for the sonic pro toothbrush and we sell replacement brush heads for the sonic classic toothbrush - they are not interchangeable as they are a separate product. We do have various offers, sales and discounts on our website throughout the year offering significant reductions on our replacement toothbrush heads and we area always looking at ways to reduce the cost without impacting the quality of the products.
incorrect information on website and no customer service available on Fridays
After carefully double checking the delivery times on your website (clearly stated as 3–5 working days), I placed an order for one of the toothbrushes. However, upon receiving my confirmation email, I was informed that delivery would take 7–10 working days, ie double as long as mentioned on the website.
I immediately attempted to contact customer service to cancel the order, as I require the item within the originally stated timeframe. To my frustration, I discovered that I couldn't reach the customer service because the operating hours are limited to Mon–Thurs (9 am–5 pm). I left two voice messages and promptly followed up with two emails requesting cancellation due to the inaccurate delivery information on your website.
Despite these efforts I received an email confirming that my order had been shipped, with no acknowledgement of my cancellation request or my previous messages.
I'm finding it highly frustrating that
- the delivery information on the website is misleading (I would not have ordered the item had I been aware that the order may take 7-10 working days)
- there is no timely acknowledgement or action on my cancellation request
- your customer services team is entirely unavailable on Fridays, making it impossible to resolve urgent matters promptly.
Having received the email confirmation stating that delivery time frame is 7-10 working days, I ordered an alternative toothbrush that can be delivered within the original time frame.

Dreadful
Dreadful. So weak it does nothing. The tongue cleaner is a joke! Really disappointed as I invested in something I thought was reassuring expensive. The reviews elsewhere are good, wish I had checked on here as well. No option to return.
