I found out about defacto when I travelled abroad to Morocco. They have branches in Europe too, which is great, so I don't need to travel out to get more things! The clothes are on trend and they are unique to my taste (a mix of classy, comfortable, and badass-y). I have purchased and embroidery cap, beige tee, an off-white faux-leather jacket, some golden font t-shirts and lots of shaping jeans. They are inclusive and give off a very comfortable customer experience. I spent lots of time enquiring about matters with their team and they were genuinely attentive. Therefore, for me, their customer service is exceptional and in line with my values, especially that of Kindness. I want to continue to shop at DeFacto, now that I have a shop that aligns with most of my values! Loved <3
09/06/2023 Edit: I have unfortunately moved the initial 5-star review that I posted about a month ago down to 2-stars. I am disheartened to lower my review, as I have had an excellent experience with DeFacto up until now. And by that I mean, they have been really good with me and my clothing items have been up to a high standard, as I discussed in my review above. So this is a decision I have not taken lightly but with no choice. I have not received a refund that I made for over a month. I returned a Beige t-shirt a month ago, and like other customers have mentioned here in the reviews, there was an issue with generating a return label therefore I requested assistance from a team member to provide and generate my return label. Following this, I was informed that my t-shirt can be returned through Evri, as a team member guided me through the steps and I sent my tshirt. (Again, this is one of the reasons I gave them 5 stars as they did an amazing job in guiding me through the refund process and queries I had when no other retailer bothered). However, I did not receive the return within three weeks. Though, since the DeFactos team had already been genuinely very good to me before, I gave enough time for processing my return. However, it started taking too long, and after 3 weeks once I reached out about the delay in my return, I was surprisingly told to give in an Evri number to get any tracking for my return. It is unfortunate for me, but I did not have my Evri number to show, as my Evri Parcelshop did not coordinate with me and had given me incorrect numbers on 2 occasions, therefore I had none to show. (This is Evri unfortunately, they do come up as unreliable !)
However, I find this is unfair and it cannot be the only way their Team can track my return. No matter the situation, I am sure DeFacto can check their system to track my return within their refunds system with the purchase order details, provided this is normal with how most clothing stores operate. I am sure that my return label, which DeFacto generated, is registered with DeFacto and the status of my refund can be seen on their end. They can check with the warehouse to know about my return parcel as well, processed accordingly, as it should have got there a long while ago. Therefore, truthfully, I have lowered my review drastically, as I was not anticipating the return process to be difficult, and for me not to get my refund. This return is money that matters to me, and it has not gotten to me - so I am rightly disappointed. I have waited for over a month now, and, it is also certain that I have returned my item, following the steps and guidance of one of their team members. Additionally, I genuinely loved and kept all the other clothing items that I purchased with them, except for this one t-shirt that did not suit my skin tone. I stress the fact that it has been a month, and I have still not received the refund for this item that I returned back. I have not received my money and this has become a disappointing and now unfair experience, that has called for me to lower (a well-deserved) 5* review that I gave initially. I want that DeFacto make attempts to rectify my delayed refund at the soonest.

Lets start with most bizarre thing ever I was waiting for my refund but got charged! instead of + they managed to take my money from my card! Contacting them is absolute joke after 2+ hours they send me an email stating that I should contact my bank like its their fault!

Hadn’t used this company before but delighted I discovered them .. really pleased with my initial order of trousers that I went back and ordered more .. true to size and great quality for the price in trousers and tops I bought .. nothing returned says it all ..
