UGEARS is a 2014 Ukrainian startup with a growing worldwide reputation for producing unique, self-propelled 3D wooden puzzles for adults, puzzle boxes and educational toys. Each UGEARS 3D puzzle has its own mechanical action that will amaze and delight. UGEARS model kits come with everything you need for assembly. What makes Ugears stand out is their customer service
What makes Ugears stand out is their customer service. The way they are prepared to send out replacement parts even when you admit to accidently breaking them yourself isn't unique but there are not many companies prepared to do this. The models are well designed and require a level of skill to complete correctly. Some models are pushing the limits of what can be done and are not always "perfect". Although I have got all the ones I have built to work I have had problems, this is where the Facebook and Youtube communities come into their own, there is plenty of help out there.

Great for all ages
Amazing products and what fun to assemble. Great learning for both young and old. This will enhance technical understanding and problem solving skills. Great quality with replacement part options if one break something. However they are very sturdy. Have tried 10+ models so far incl. steamtrain, pinbal machine, aeroplane, horse, two marble runs, gitar, butterfly and some small ones. All are very fun and strong

Parts request
Had a aero pendulum clock to build at Xmas, unfortunately there was an issue with wear on a couple of parts and spares were ordered.
The company states 3 to 5 days for delivery it’s now been almost a month with the cock in bits on the dining room table. Order nos 25634,8,9

We are very sorry to hear about your negative experience. It takes 3-5 days to process the order and to produce the exact spare parts you need. Then it takes up to 25 days to deliver the order to your destination. Our apologies for not communicating you the terms of delivery clearly. Your request has already been fulfilled and we hope you were satisfied with the spare parts despite the waiting time.
Poor service
I placed an order on 16 August. Their delivery people advised me on 17 August that estimated delivery was 24 August. They didn't send any more emails to update their plans. Delivery eventually took place on 8 September. Also, ugears didn't reply to any of my emails.

Received my first model today and I’m super impressed with the quality of the whole thing so far. I’ve go to make it yesterday but overall it is amazing.

Low quality garbage
Low quality garbage that does not work! Low quality wood that breaks super easily, unclear and confusing instructions, I do not recommend buying from these scammers at all!

I don't know who the 90% of customers…
I don't know who the 90% of customers giving positive reviews dealt with but it certainly isn't the bunch that I have been trying to get a spare from with absolutely no success. Despite ringing all the numbers available, emailing all the emails and even the "live chat", which isn't, I have got no response at all. The models may be good but the customer service is rubbish.
