Worth checking them - great price very helpful and fair
I always do the price comparison on insurance and as an after thought checked Direct Line last year. They where best price and cover by far.
Guess what after a year they've nailed it again and offer the best value. Not only that when I added another driver there was no dreaded 'admin charge' (other companies take note)
The customer service is excellent so I'm giving 5 stars.
Direct Line exceeded my expectations and that is a rare thing these days.

Sorry to anyone that reads this…
Sorry to anyone that reads this unfortunately Direct line should never get 1 star but it doesn’t let me move on without marking it . Got to be one of the worst companies for communication with customers and got to be the worst for the customer to contact Direct line . Just shy of 2 weeks to get a large hole in my roof repaired mostly due to the lies that they tell you for example they didn’t have a contractor to do the work but never both to tell me then after I called them they said they would call me back at 14.00 then they called me at 16.00 and said they had sorted it now there was no problem. I contacted the contractor who said he hasn’t been busy and was only given the job at 16.15 the same day of my conversation with Direct line ( coincidence) more like oh dear I forgot the customer . It has taken all day to talk to someone at Direct line and that’s from 09.00 till 17.30 and still no one will give any answers . And still no roof fixed so my advice is to STAY AWAY FROM DIRECT LINE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HOUSE.
