My order didn’t come in time for when I requested. Then I attempted daily to get in touch with them and was ignored entirely. Horrible service

We ordered two products a travel cot and a car seat with a separate isofix base. All products arrive on time, however the isofix base for the car seat was broken and the travel cot would was difficult to put together as the sides kept getting stuck. Communication about the issue and with regards to getting the items sent back at the end of the rental was not existent. They don't answer their phone or respond to emails at all.

Perhaps they get flooded with many emails and calls for inquiries? Simple fix would be a separate number and email for actual rentals. I'd also suggest they email the return labels in case they get lost.

I ordered a baby bed for our stay at our friends' apartment. It never showed up.

What made it worse was the complete lack of communication. I tried reaching the company by both email and phone and no response either way. I then tried contacting DPD, the courier they use, directly, and couldn't get through to them either or get any real information about where the shipment was. We have a doorman available 24/7, so it wasn't even a case of a failed delivery attempt due to access.

We were left without a bed for our baby during our stay, with zero support from either the retailer or the shipping provider. I'm now asking for a full refund plus compensation for the inconvenience, but given how hard it's been to even get a response, I'm not optimistic.

If reliable delivery and basic customer service matter to you, I'd think twice before ordering here.

Delivery, the product itself, the friendliness of the team all great. But thanks to TripTots' chosen carrier DPD I will not be using the service again. Not for the first time I have been caused considerable inconvenience and stress by the failures and mendacity of DPD.

Absolutely awful, do not use this company! My car seat arrived a day and a half late. When it did eventually arrive, the isofix bars were faulty and I couldn't connect it to my car isofix. Tried calling them to complain during their opening hours but no one answered. Feeling very ripped off

From ordering to delivering of two child car seats, process has been smooth and the returns simple. Would recommend this company.

Terrible. It’s a scam. I’m still waiting for the rental car seat to be delivered, currently 4 days later. No answer in the phone or email and certainly no money refunded. Appalling and shameful

Clean and well packaged for transport. Easy return process

Appalling company, don't use! We booked a carseat with them. They gave no indication of potential delivery delays, which would have meant we would have booked to arrive earlier. Instead they just assured it would arrive when booked. They use DPD, who are notoriously unreliable. The carseat is now scheduled to arrive on the last day of the rental period, making it pointless. To make matters worse the phone just goes to voicemail and no-one has called back to discuss. Avoid at all costs.

Wrong item delivered and lack of response to my email.

So hired a car seat from them just over 2yrs ago now and 1 of the isofix securing rods was stuck in the seat and wouldn’t come out but they tried their best to help, so needing another car seat this year so ordered 1 online so it would be here a day early only to be told that DPD were running late and my delivery would now be the day of my departure. I was told that if I wasn’t in the driver wouldn’t leave it. Called trip tots to tell them it was of no use to me know and to see if they could cancel the delivery but no answer. I then go on holiday, 4hrs after we leave I then get notified that the parcel has been left. Utter shambles, will not be using them ever again

If I could give 0 I would, absolute scam of a website, don’t answer the phone, don’t answer emails but constantly send updates about an order that doesn’t exist. Ordered a car seat for when we arrived on vacation, 3 days before we arrived, but it never turned up. We went home 5 days later and it still never showed up.. don’t waste your time with triptots, absolute scam!

I hired two items and only 1 arrived. I have emailed and called multiple times about a refund with no response over the last week.

I ordered a pram for a Mondayto Friday holiday for my 8 week old granddaughter. I received an e mail on the previous Friday afternoon cancelling my order. I had to telephone to find out why, and was told their pram was broken by the previous hirer and they could not supply anything. It was too late to find any thing else. The apology was not sincere and they should have phoned me, rather than e mailing. It ruined our holiday. I am still waiting for a promised refund.

The car seat was not delivered on the agreed date, eventhough options were given to the driver. The delivery was done in the return day, meaning that I never used the car seat and been charged for that. Customer service did not replied to the emails during the rental period, only replying at the end by saying they hold no responsability for the delivery and asking me to send it back! Not even a glance of understanding for the hassle they created to the client. Dont recommend their service

The car seat never showed up. Even after calling and them promising it would be there. Then they never refunded the money, I had to dispute it with my credit card. Never use this company!

Cot was in good condition but arrived two days late.

Unfortunately I think this company is a scam - I booked and paid for a stroller for my visit to London. I simply never heard from them after my confirmation email. We're a few days in and their number doesn't work, and no one is responding to emails. Definitely avoid!

Appalling service, do not use. I made an error in my booking and immediately contacted them to rectify. They would not make any adjustments or provide me with a refund.

Do not use Trip Tots.

The whole reason we rented from them was to avoid travelling internationally with bulky baby equipment. We specifically needed the equipment waiting for us when we arrived in Scotland.

It wasn’t.

As a result, we had to bring our own car seat from Canada just so we could safely leave the airport with our baby. The rental had already failed its primary purpose before our holiday even began.

What has been even more disappointing than the late delivery is the company’s response. Rather than taking any responsibility, they simply hide behind their terms and conditions and blame DPD. Apparently, as long as they hand the parcel to the courier, they believe they have fulfilled their obligations, regardless of whether the customer actually receives the equipment when promised.

That completely misses the point of the service they are selling. Customers are paying for baby equipment to be available when they need it, not for Trip Tots to dispatch a parcel.

Mistakes happen. Couriers have delays. What separates a good company from a bad one is how they respond when something goes wrong. Trip Tots’ response has been to deny any responsibility, refuse to offer an appropriate refund, and repeatedly point to terms and conditions that they claim absolve them of all liability.

If you’re travelling with a baby, reliability is everything. Unfortunately, when we needed Trip Tots most, they let us down, and then refused to take ownership of it. They don’t answer their phone and rarely respond to emails.

I won’t be using them again, and I wouldn’t recommend relying on them for anything time critical.
