The variety of experiences in 3 different countries spanning cultural events, local cuisine, geographic wonders (Widest river in the world [Rio de la Plata], Iguassu Falls, Atlantic rainforest, Amazon jungle …); historical attractions (Argentina hacienda, Sugarloaf mountain, Christ the Redeemer Statue, Beaches [Coco Cabana, Impanema, etc], Cable car ride, Inca historical sites [Machu Pichu, Cusco, Inca museum, etc…..]; Flora and Fauna were beyond incredible from Butterflies, birds, caymans, alpacas, monkeys, lush vegetation to Lima where it never rains… was overall outstanding!
Our intra flights went very well, however the flights were booked under not our own names but others in the group which opened up private information that should NOT normally be shared. This complicated and prolonged our checkin. Each couple should have had their own booking number for each and every flight!
The local tour guides (Lewis Mendias in Argentina, Leo in Iguazu, Lisbet at Machu Picchu [who gave 2 of us walking sticks to make our climb easier] were personable, well informed, caring, open to questions and suggestions. Ricardo (while a lovely gentleman) in Lima did not speak or understand English well enough to “tour” us in place of the assigned guide. He could not “tour” us. He got us from A to B but that is all.
Hotels were well located and offered good service. Breakfasts were very good and accommodated us with a bagged meal when we had to leave extra early. Unfortunately, we had to move rooms on two different occasions due to a dysfunctional sink and extreme noise coming from outside. All of our hotels were very inefficient when it came to registering us for our rooms. For example, Novotel in Rio took forever to process our group (there was only 10 of us) while a group of about 40 persons who arrived after us, were processed in a very short time. Why??? It would seem that TripOppo may not be booking us in such a manner as would streamline the process of checkin.
Group size (10 persons) was real plus. We bonded with each other very well during the tour and since.
It is very unfortunate that one couple who were land only participants, were given erroneous information i.e. luggage costs, itinerary, intra flights not available after they were told everything was a “go” for them to join the group. We felt their frustration and wonder why this happened.
We have questions regarding the prepaid gratuities. Some of those who served us expected (asked) for tips when we understood these should have been covered. How might the company clarify who is and who is not being included with the prepaid gratuity? Could the group participants be provided with a general list of who is being compensated??
We feel that we received “value for money” from TripOppo.

I am on a trip arranged by tripoppo , but booked with an agency in Canada . They strongly recommended to pay the tips for tour guide and drivers in advance. Most of my group about 25 or so paid US dollars 200./ person .
However I found out that they did not pay anything to the guide or driver in Korea the portion of tip that we paid . While checking with company , one Fiona said they paid the guide and driver before the tour started , with their wage plus tips . What a lie !! I showed this message to my guide in Japan and he said ,, it is funny.. no one ever pays anything in advance and they never get the tips from the company, it is always from the customer directly. It is obvious that either the Canadian agent or this tripoppo company pocketed the tip amount, we , customers feel humiliated and embarrassed !
I would not even give One start to this cheapest business practice.
Dirty business !! Never ever pay the tips to this cheating business again! Stay away if you can.

Our trip to South Korea and Japan is done recently. Our experience in Japan was very good exept one thing. According to the itinerary we were supposed to have a tea ceremony in Japan, but we were taken to a sweetcake shop to make our own cookies. In South Korea our tour guide was terrible. His english was so weak and he was not able to communicate with us. We went many places with no explanation, no comment... both two countries were amazing. The itinerary was very good. I think I won't choose tripoppo for my next trip. I had better experiences with other companies.

The reason we decided to travel with Tripoppo is that we previously travelled with Tripoppo(Nexus) to China, and it was a great trip.
About this trip, the itinerary was great. The excursions were very good. What was disappointing was that on several occasions we were not accompanied not by a guide, just a driver with no English and other occasions guides with poor English.
The canopy walk that was mentioned in the itinerary was not included since we there for only 2 days and this is included in the 3 day stay.
I found the information zoom meetings were not particularly helpful. They couldn't answers basic questions and it was hard to understand their speaking.
As far as travelling with Tripoppo goes there are other choices out there. They are not off our list but will look for alternative suppliers first.

Checked 2 countries off my bucket list thanks to Tripoppo. Had a wonderful experience and was glad that I brought my mom along to experience it with me. Both guides in S. Korea ( Minnie) and Japan ( Sunny) were very knowledgeable and helpful. Loved meeting the other travelers as well. Both countries were lovely, and Tripoppo made it easy to see what each country had to offer foreigners. One highlight that I loved was that I was able to celebrate my birthday in a hanbok on a beautiful day at a beautiful temple with beautiful people. Who could ask for more? It was also nice to have Jason & Bruce along ( boy did they work hard)

The Kansas Culture tour - the part to make Japanese sweets was a waste of time. I felt like I’m in kindergarten doing craft.
Modern Tokyo Tour - we went on 2 floors that I felt would be more suitable for kids
DMZ Tour - not really interested in politics

We are very impressed with how TripOppo has transformed since the name has changed. From the first phone call to the flight home there has been a significant change in how customers are treated. The company has grown to be very efficient and accommodating.
Our trip to South Korea and Japan was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary (with a few exceptions) returning home with many lasting memories.
The local guides Grace & Felicia were excellent as was Belle the guide that accompanied us to and from Toronto.
One of our concerns centred around the 'free' meals that were provided - as every meal was exactly the same and became unappealing very quickly - we are sure that there is more variety when you talk about traditional meals. Visiting the street food venders and shops was great to do. One or two would have been enough to experience.
With the exception of the hotel in Hamamatsu, accommodations were amazing,
Will we book a tour with TripOppo again? Most definitely :-)

15 Days South Korea and Japan 2024
Our first experience with TripOppo was amazing!
We felt looked after as in a big family vacation.
Their itinerary made sure we hit all the Must-Sees in both countries.
The tour included rentals of Korean Hanbok attire for us to wear and take pictures of in one of their Ancestral Palaces.
The buses were big and comfy.
Lovely hotels close to malls and shopping.
Tour guides were attentive, informative and caring.

We recently travelled to Japan and south Korea during March 2024.It was an amazing trip with Tripoppo.
Tripoppo organized the trip very nicely paying attention to minute details. Starting from here in Toronto Yan was very helpful and accommodative. Jason was with us throughout the trip and helping and taking care of us until last day. He was easily approachable and made sure all our needs are met to keep us comfortable. Pretty much felt that we are travelling with large family.
All hotel accommodations were excellent.
Our guide Mini in South Korea and Sunny in Japan were very informative, pleasant and interactive
Mini helped us at the time of departure to Japan beyond her work limits. Really appreciate her efforts to arrange vegetarian meals for our group which was nearly impossible in south Korea.
Trip itinerary was good, felt bit too much of temples in the itinerary.
Overall five star for this memorable trip

Recently I had been to South Korea and Japan with my friends, a guided tour organized by TripOppo. My first trip with TripOppo. It was an experience of a lifetime. Will definitely plan more trips in future with TripOppo.

We were recommended by fellow travelers to use Tripoppo for Egypt/Jordan, and we are glad we did. The arrangements were all seamless. The hotels of good standard and clean. The guides were terrific. Loved everywhere we went, a true adventure.
Would, I use Tripoppo again, I sure would absolutely! Thanks for the memories...

This was our 1st trip with an organized tour rather than independently and I believe we have been spoiled for future trips! Absolutely 1st rate organization and value beginning with Belle and Jason in the Toronto office (esp. the helpful pre-trip prep video). The movement from place to place in a very full programme of activities was seamless; the cruise ship was very well appointed ,and the hotels were all top quality. Best of all, we were blessed with 2 outstanding guides -- Khalid Killaney in Egypt and Bashar Twal in Jordan. Both were encyclopedic in knowledge but ,more importantly, were engaging and personable -- really cared about the clients welfare and interests! Absolutely tremendous value for the money spent and the organization's attention to detail was wonderful. A couple of caveats : our group agreed that the last day's drive around the city of Amman was a waste of time which would have been better spent at the memorable sites visited in the afternoon. Finally, we were not impressed with the half hearted (at best) help from your Cairo emergency rep, Waleed Salam, when 1 of our suitcases was lost in the flights from Aswan to Jordan via Cairo. Luckily, we found it ourselves when we returned to Cairo, but Mr. Salam offered no real assistance at all.

The trip was enjoyable.
The hotels were exceeded my expectation and in good locations.
The meals were decent. The local guides were nice and patient. Overall I was very happy with the tour.

This company ran an excellent tour of Egypt and Jordan. The tour guides in each of the countries, Ali in Egypt and Bashar in Jordan, were knowledgeable and personable. All excursions, with the exception of the camel “ride”, was well worth the extra $ paid. Disappointingly, that experience turned out to be only a photo op.TheTripOppo rep, Mavis, was very organized and always ensured everyone arrived safely at each destination.
I would have liked a little more time to explore the local markets, but overall an excellent trip!

This is my fifth trip with TripOppo and again I was very satisfied. The hotel accommodations were great as was the included meals. Our tour leader Mavis was very helpful and professional. Our tour guides, Ali in Egypt and Badger in Jordan were very knowledgeable and personable. We saw the major places I was interested in, but I would have liked a bit more free time to explore the culture of these two countries. At the same time, our days were full of wonderful excursions. I would definitely recommend this trip to friends.

As this was our second experience with TripOPPO(the first was NEXIS) I feel compelled to let people know that this is a very good company to deal with. Whatever they promised it was delivered. From 5-star hotels to top-notch tours and guides the whole trip was fantastic. The staff in Toronto was always helpful and right up to the Zoom meeting 1 week from take off it was handled smoothly. This was a trip of a lifetime and we had an amazing time.

In flight our Tokyo bound plane was turned back to Vancouver due to technical difficulties. Tripoppo staff in Toronto worked into the night to obtain tickets for our group for the next day to Tokyo and Osaka. We were able to join the tour with a minimum of inconvenience.
We thoroughly enjoyed every day of our tour to Japan and South Korea. So much to see and experience..
The guides were kind, knowledgeable,
considerate and went out of their way to accommodate requests if possible. The transportation was comfortable and the bus drivers were skilled.
Our hotel accommodations and food experiences were lovely.
We enjoyed every day of our trip!
