to be honest, i was skeptical about the whole thing. i just said, let me give a try to this service and to my greatest suprise, i got my compensation today 06.03.25. the incident happened in Sept. 2024. i had even forgotten about the whole thing until i got an email from Travelrefund yesterday, asking for my bank details.

I spent more than four hours waiting for a plane. Instead of sending a plane to the airport where I was leaving, the airline sent it to another airport before it arrived at my airport.
I felt I had the right to complain given the long wait and the airline's behavior.
I turned to Travel Refund, not doubting their persistence and the quality of their service, but fearing that the airline would take a strong stance.
Despite having to wait around five months, I was reimbursed according to Travel Refund's price list.
I recommend that you use Travel Refund in similar situations and if you fall within the delay and distance times set out in their table.

I had a great experience with TravelRefund. Their team is very professional, responsive, and helpful. Whenever I contacted them via email, they responded quickly and explained everything clearly. I initially considered canceling my case, but they immediately walked me through all my options and provided valuable insights, which helped me make the right decision.
The only downside is that the process took a long time, about a year, but I understand that this is common when dealing with airlines like Wizz Air, who delay compensation. TravelRefund handled everything on my behalf, so I didn’t have to deal with legal processes or negotiations myself.

After Waiting for 2 Years and Still No Results
We started using TravelRefund in December 2022 and received some standard email replies stating they were contacting the airline. However, after one year, when we asked about the status, they simply told us to keep waiting. We began to lose trust in them and started suspecting that they might possibly be fabricating information. When we requested proof that they had contacted the airline, they claimed we misunderstood their process and told us to wait longer.
As of now, it has been more than two years, and there is still no result. Based on the terms we agreed to when we first engaged with them, if we want to handle the case with the airline ourselves or switch to another agency, we are required to pay them without receiving any compensation from the airline. I also read that some companies might keep the compensation from the airline without passing it on to their customers.
Does anyone have experience dealing with this type of situation? How can we escape this trap?
*Alma, I know you will respond to this review. Instead of spending time writing long-winded positive responses on the internet, why not spend time on customer cases? Do you think everyone doesn't know that nothing has actually progressed and the customers has not received any compensation??

Thanks to this company, I finally received the compensation of 175EUR. The process took very long, the money arrived after 18 months since the flight was cancelled, in July 2023. Anyway, better late than never :)

My flight was cancelled on May 31st 2024. I tried contacting the arline (Lufthansa) but did not receive an answer during all these months (we are in January 2025).
I found TravelRefund online and I relied on their service. I gave them the necessary information to build the case and they managed to get me a 175€ refund.
You won't receive the refund immediately, mine took 8 months. But I'm guessing this is the time it takes to win the case.
I strongly recommend TravelRefund.
Throughout the whole process, they always kept me updated on how the case was proceeding, reassuring me that they were still working on it.
