To initiate the tracker you have to phone between 9- 5 Monday to Friday. You need to have the vehicle running for it to work. I had to leave my work early and was told that I had to drive around to get an O2 signal. After driving for an hour was told that the signal couldn’t get through. So having to leave my work early again tomorrow to drive around again to get a signal. Absolute nonsense

I transferred a trackstar account - having purchased a second hand motorhome with a trackstar tracker on it.
The procedure couldn't have been simpler- very good - would recommend.

The contact from them is prompt and efficient. The absolute downside is the actual fob. Very flimsy and when you drop it accidentally which can often happen the battery doesn’t stay secure in place leading to unnecessary alerts. Fob needs improvement.

I have a S5 tracker in my vehicle. However it does not do what it says on the tin.

My vehicle was stolen and the thieves have completely compromised the system. Trackstar cannot see it despite saying they have anti-jamming technology and VHF which cannot be jammed and can locate a signal underground.

When the thief jammed the signal I received no alert and I am guessing they did not either or was not monitoring. This is despite saying any tampering will send an alert.

The people in the operations centre do not care that my vehicle has been stolen and seem to have no concern that their technology has been rendered obsolete.

So either two things have happened here. Either their claims about their products are false or the thieves have found a way to completely render their systems useless.

Very poor experience, had a tracker and immobiliser fitted in BMW X7, Since all I had are just issues, very poor after sales service

Having been a longstanding customer of Teletrac Navman on my BMW cars I recently changed my car to a new one which came with a Tracker system fitted. Having renewed my subscription in August 2025 I tried to cancel and was told that the subscription is non refundable as per their 23 page terms and conditions available on their website and which is a click here link on the renewal invite sent in July 2025. As a loyal customer I was not happy with this and asked that they reconsider which they flatly refused. They have now lost me as a customer as I certainly will not use them again if ever I need a tracking system fitting to a future vehicle and I seriously recommend that any new customer considers this first before they buy!

We had an S7 fitted in May 24 to our BMW from new. It was fine until the key tag broke before Christmas 25. We called and were told we would need a new tag and that we should have 2 anyway. We were deluged with calls and we explained each time that the tag was broken and each time we were told that they would put a hold on calls until the new tag was delivered. Time dragged on and no tags arrived and eventually I was able to get a little sense on 14th Jan 26 when we were told the new tags were being sent that day. Weeks passed and we eventually emailed with a response that the tags had been delivered by DPD to the wrong address! Trackstar sent us the DPD delivery image which confirmed this. We have done all we can to find the package, but it seems that they disappeared from the porch of the house that they were delivered to. Trackstar say that this is our fault and explain that the tags have been delivered and as such we must pay for new tags. We are at a loss as to how we are liable for the tags being delivered to the wrong address. This sorry mess has lasted a month so far! What to do.

Were notified that my renewal was due, but did not get notified of the increase for the annual renewal. Based on system is very slow to update and confirm the location where the BMW App is instant once you end and finish your journey and lock the car.

Numerous false alerts - very annoying. Fob batterys often dont last long. Expensive replacement fobs.

I needed to have the original unit changed after 12 years due to recent repeated false alarms. The unit could not be repaired due to its age. However, I was given a discount off the normal price , which was fair enough.
Fitted on a time and day of my choice.

The online purchase was easy and the booking for the fitting was arranged very quickly. The engineer who fitted the tracker did an excellent job, explained everything clearly, and left the vehicle and driveway exactly as they were when he arrived.

Couldn't log in. Their "recover/change password" system is terrible. I spent 15 minutes trying to log in, then changing my password with the link they sent me, trying to log in with the new password, and being denied. Terrible service, wouldn't recommend to anyone.
