I recently visited brand new Tish Lyon studio located in Bluewater and had the most amazing time! The piercers were super friendly and professional and made the whole experience really comfortable. They exclusively curated my ear to what piercings/jewellery would look the best for me based on my anatomy, and it is clear that they are the best in the piercing industry. All the Tish pieces are super high quality and so gorgeous! I couldn't recommend this studio more if you are going near Kent.

I’ve always believed in loyalty and integrity within this industry, which is why this situation is so disappointing. The very company I once supported and promoted one that relied on professional piercers to build their reputation for quality and trust has now chosen to undercut us by selling directly to the public.

Piercers were told this was an exclusive, wholesale-only brand something to stand behind with confidence. Instead, they’ve decided to bypass the professionals who helped them grow, leaving many of us questioning why we ever invested in their name.

It’s a real shame to see a company abandon the community that built it. Loyalty should go both ways.

I took my 10 year old on her birthday to the Liverpool counter on Monday to have her lobes done for the first time by Gemma in Liverpool. I was a little worried about negative reviews and expense but we were in Liverpool for a birthday trip and I wanted her to feel special. I looked up the costs of the earrings so I sort of knew what to expect when I arrived.

Yes it was probably twice as expensive as I could have paid for a cheap piercing place but Gemma did an excellent job, made my daughter feel very special and calm and it was an overall excellent experience. Having multiple ear piercing myself I felt assured of the kit and earrings but Gemma still took time to explain everything clearly and I could see everything was hygienic etc. she gave us free backs and a tool to help change earrings etc which was a nice touch. Gemma explained things very well to my daughter so she understood how to take care of her piercings. Hopefully they’ll heal well. I recently got my ears pierced at this boutique, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. There were numerous hidden costs, and I felt misled throughout the process. I was initially told that the piercing would be free with the purchase of earrings, but that turned out not to be true.

I specifically requested gold due to a metal allergy, but they tried to use titanium instead. When I asked for gold, I was given one price, only to be charged something entirely different at the till. I also had a 20% off card from the department store, which I mentioned at the start as the reason for my visit, but they refused to apply it because they said the wrong price had been given earlier -even though that wasn’t my fault.

To give some context, the expected price when starting was £128. Once the equipment was opened and it was revealed that the earring was gold with titanium backing, the price rose to £200. By the time I reached the till, I was charged £268.

On top of that, the “free gift” promoted on social media was never provided. Overall, the entire experience felt unprofessional and dishonest. I would strongly recommend going elsewhere -to a place that values transparency, integrity, and their customers.

I had a conch piercing in April. The staff were friendly and it looked good so a few weeks later I had my third lobe piercings done, and a flat done. The right lobe bled profusely during piercing, which i thought was odd, as I had two piercings in each of my lobes already which had all been fine. 3 months later, all of the piercings in my left ear are problematic and possibly infected. The flat back piercing studs they use seem to be impossible to remove manually if you have an issue. I tried contacting the chat service for advice on removal, but there is no reply. It seems that to remove these studs you have to go into store, which is not convenient if you work or have kids and can't just drop everything. On reflection, for a much lower price than one titanium stud from this brand you can get pierced with a pair of solid gold studs from well known high street chain, and which you can remove yourself for easier hygeine and safety. I would not use this shop again for either piercing or jewellery considering the inconvenience and the expense.

I purchased earrings for a relative and she loves them! The packaging looks incredible and I definitely earned some brownie points, best thing is it didnt cost me an arm and a leg either.

I am absolutely delighted with the titanium earrings I bought from Tish Lyon. The look really great quality and feel really nice in my ears. They arrived quickly and the customer service I experienced was brilliant. I will definitely be shopping with them again.

The most stupid design I have ever come across in an earring.
I bought the flat back version with three tiny stones on the front. They take half an hour to manoeuvre into your ear using a pair of tweezers and a magnifying mirror as they have to be put in through the back of your ear, and then they take one second to pull out when they get caught on your hair, a towel or absolutely anything else that they come into contact with.
Considering I deliberately bought the flatback version because I intended to sleep in them and thought these would be more comfortable the fact that they come out so easily is a huge drawback.
Totally not fit for purpose. Next time I’ll just flush the money straight down the toilet and save myself time!

Bought some gorgeous earrings. They are the perfect size and the square labret makes changing them so much easier that round ones as I can actually hold them in place now. The packaging is lovely and they make a perfect gift. Will definitely be buying more.

Got a cute little pair of tiger eye earrings. Theyre really nice quality, with a nice pop of colour. I love the flat backs as I'm forever finding my butterfly backs squished against the earlobe and I get sore, or lost and tangled in my hair. Great service.

The product was just as described and the shipping/delivery was very fast.

I purchased a single stud gold earring, I was very happy with the design but be warned the flat back fittings are so tiny and tricky to fit. I haven't come across earrings like this before but persevered as I did like the earring. 8 weeks of wearing later and I noticed the back had fallen off, I managed to rescue the actual earring. I contacted Tish Lyon to ask how I could purchase a replacement back, after several exchanges and chases it transpires the backs are non-standard so the only option is to re-buy an earring in full from them. No replacement stud is available to buy at a reasonable price. They did offer a 25% discount which still means a replacement stud back essentially costs £75. I can imagine how easy it is to lose these minute backs and in my view Tish Lyon should review their policy of offering replacement backs at a fair price or make them standard fittings. I have another earring and wonder when I will lose that too... Unfortunately this has put me off purchasing more from this range.

Really pleased with the titanium huggy earrings I purchased. My ears are so sensitive and I’d given up wearing earrings, but decided to try again and these are so comfortable to wear and look beautiful - subtle yet stunning. Prompt delivery and great packaging too.
