Absolutely disgusted with the customer service we have received from Tilia Homes! Never have I ever had such an appalling experience in all my life, furious is an understatement. We moved into our property in the middle of December and we were told the snags in our house would be rectified within 2 weeks and a deep clean would be offered to us. We are now 3 months in and have only had one snag rectified after several emails and complaints. The radiators are ridiculously small and we have a baby in our bedroom to try and heat it up we have to turn the heating on full and leave it for a few hours to heat up and even then it doesn’t stay warm! We have now received an email and the audacity from customer service is just something else. They are now saying that due to health and safety they are not coming out to rectify the snags because we shut our puppy in the kitchen when the workers come and one of them asked to say hello. When I opened the kitchen door for him to say hello to the dog I realised the dog had an accident in there which I straight away cleared up and disinfected! They are looking for any excuse to not fix the state they left our property in. We cannot wait to move out and will never ever buy from Tilia again it is a shambles! I have noticed we are not the only ones with the exact same problem and all of the bad reviews seem to be from the same sort of time this year so they really ought to be doing their jobs than finding pathetic excuses not to be! Rafa on the other hand came to paint over a hole they cut in the wall and he was honestly so good at his job, he went above and beyond to help and his customer service was amazing.
Stewart Sellers visited our new build this morning to fix some big settling cracks in the plaster. He was welcoming, and very efficient. He did an amazing job and got it completed in a few hours. He filled, sanded and painted all in one day. He was very lovely and is a credit to Tilia. Thank you Stewart.

We have experienced poor quality finish to build and interiors in what they call their 'executive home'. Walls and floors out of tolerance, parts missing from kitchen appliances, shelves fitted back to front in kitchen, door seals incomplete, poor quality underlay, light switches incorrectly fitted, extractor fan hoses not attached to vents, the render is a dogs dinner, windows not opening properly, door handles failing. After sales service has been hard work, I have had constantly had to chase and progress and response has been slow.
Sam was very personable and super polite in sorting an issue in our new house. He and Dan worked quickly, did a fantastic job and cleaned after.
Stewart Sellers completes the job perfectly well as always. Highest of standards and a true gent.
I could not rate Rafal highly enough, he is a credit to Tilia Homes.
Rafal is extremely professional, he went above and beyond to ensure the defects in my home were complete and didn’t leave until I was happy with everything.

Tilia have been extremely supportive with our snagging list since moving in, acting quickly and providing regular updates. Sam (Technician) did a fantastic job helping us out and went above and beyond, finishing all jobs to a high standard.
We made an appointment to view the Tilia homes at Stokesley, Bluebells.
Heidi took the time and effort to listen to our needs and wants and showed us every option. She answered all our questions. She was very knowledgable about the development, the options and the buying process.

I moved into my new tilia home back in June 24 and from Kat who sold me the house to Brian Aldridge who could not have been more efficient in getting the little jobs complete within the week of viewing my property. Also a massive thank you to Kayleigh who rearranged multiple call outs through no fault of her own (my job took over) thank you all so much
I would like to put on record my thanks to Peter Woodthorpe, Tilias’s troubleshooter for the Teign View Kingsteignton development.
Following damp ingress around a French door, Peter has made several visits to investigate and solve the problem. He has been very thorough in identifying the source, rather than going for a quick fix, and has restored everything perfectly, with the minimum of disruption.
He has worked at our house before, and is always courteous, going about his work in a professional manner, with nothing being too much trouble.
He communicates well, and keeps everything clean & tidy.

We are 2 years into our ownership of a Tilia new build and (without tempting fate) we have had very few issues. Anything that has arisen was mostly cosmetic and dealt with swiftly and professionally with little disturbance. The most recent issues, attended by Craig Cumper and organised by Allie Burgess, were resolved within a couple of weeks of raising them and are now as good as new.
We had heard the usual concerns about buying new builds but can't say that we have experienced any of them with Tilia and our home. Very pleased, thank you.
We have genuinely been blown away by our experience with Ellie at Tilia's Furlong Heath development.
From day one, Ellie has been phenomenal! Sales, customer service, problem solving, knowledgeable, Ellie has been incredibly reliable, personable, and accountable at every step of our journey.
If you're considering a Tilia home, we would highly recommend Ellie.
We'd also like to share our appreciation for Caroline, our sales progresser, who has been just as wonderful.
Thanks to all of your hard work, our experience has genuinely been five stars and we can't wait to move into our new home next week!

I would never buy a house from this company in my lifetime. The construction is done by unqualified workers, and they rely on the NHBC warranty to fix everything. All the radiators are extremely small, and drafts coming into the property only cause the temperature to decline rather than warm up. The loft had missing insulation, and it took them over 1.5 years to partially fix it. Worse, it has been over 2 years, and the house still has numerous issues that need fixing. Customer service does nothing to resolve anything and never gives a date for when it will be rectified. Worse still, the responsibility is passed around between various companies, as nothing is built by Tilia directly; everything is outsourced, so they hold zero accountability. Customer service personnel Sophie and Company Director Lee Goodman, if you are reading this, fix it up.
Rafal Buzuk came out (19/02/25) to do repairs that we had waited a while for. This left us quite disgruntled, however Rafal was so competent and got the repairs fixed to a very high standard and has left us feeling much more satisfied. Tillia you are lucky to have the likes of Rafal Buzuk, our property is central Bedfordshire on what was the greenway place plots
Here we go again! What a shower of !!!! this Company are. Cannot take much more. The only good news is that we are fortunate to not own one of their properties. Unfortunately we live adjacent to one of their developments ( Brook Manor)Alphington, Exeter. It is just after midnight and the fire alarm is ringing extremely loudly right outside our bedroom window. Rang a so called emergency number an hour ago but nothing has happened, rang back just now to be told that they cannot get hold of anyone!!!!! Apparently no one is picking up their phones. The attitude of Tilia is “tough”. Sadly according to reports on this website this is the way they treat people who have had the misfortune to buy one of their boxes. Take my advice, go elsewhere. There are loads of decent houses around, Tilia are the lowest of the low, full of empty promises.
We are delighted overall with our Tilia home. However there were several issues that needed rectifying. Peter Woodthorpe has completed these for us to an exceptional standrd. His knowledge, workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. Huge thanks
Tilia homes have been a disaster for us. Huge number of snags some never resolved. Property purchase still not registered on Land Registry 3years after purchase due to their non response to our solicitors. !!!
