We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We understand your concern regarding the lollipop design, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond.

The lollipop used on your cake was different from the one shown on our website, and we acknowledge that. Due to ongoing post-COVID supply challenges, we were unable to source the exact item from our regular supplier. We explored alternatives at three different local shops and made multiple attempts to contact you for guidance before making a design decision. In the absence of a response, we proceeded with a colour-matching edible print to ensure the overall aesthetic of the cake remained consistent.

As outlined in our terms and conditions:

“Whilst an exact match of a provided picture cannot be guaranteed, we will endeavour to meet your requirement as far as possible. Creating a cake is an art and may be subject to variations.”

We’d also like to highlight that we accommodated several custom requests at no additional charge—including two different flavours, a personalised photo of your son, and the Bermuda flag. These were honoured with care and without added costs, reflecting our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Shortly after your message, our manager made a personal call within the hour to better understand your concerns and offer a resolution, but unfortunately, the call was not answered, and our number was subsequently blocked.

Regarding the cake itself, we do understand that taste and texture are highly personal preferences. Our recipes are handcrafted and loved by many of our loyal customers, though we respect that they may not be to everyone’s liking. However, we do wish to note that your review was posted across our platforms prior to the cake being cut, which limits the opportunity for constructive feedback.

After carefully reviewing your communication and the pattern of reviews posted across other businesses, we feel that the situation may not be resolvable. While we sympathise with your disappointment, we respectfully stand by the efforts and care our team invested in fulfilling your order.

Important for all customers: If you’re ever dissatisfied with the quality of any of our products, please return the item in full (not the leftovers), and we will issue a full refund. This is part of our complaint policy and does not affect your statutory rights.
