The Bicycle Lounge Anmeldelser

I travelled a long way to purchase a new bike from The Bicycle Lounge, a bit of a risk, what if I didn't like it when I got there?

No fear, Matt had it all set up, looking lovely, ready to jump on for a fit.

The team were all helpful and friendly, and all the bikes are beautiful; I don't regret travelling for my new Cervelo.

Great service from Matt and the team. I travelled from Worcester for the bike having done everything via Whatsapp/email. The guys were all great. Really reassuring service from a knowledgeable team. I'm just glad that I don't live in Ormskirk because I'd be in there all the time.

Ok, so you have a bag of cash, been a cyclist all your life. You watch the pro teams and their exotic bikes and think, yes I want one. My three favourites are Bianchi, Wilier and Pinarello. Ok, where do I go to see these exotic pedal machines. The Bicycle Lounge, Ormskirk. From the minute I spoke to Matt at the shop I knew I was at the right place. Matt and his team have been doing this for years. Nothing was to much trouble. First vist I was measured up. Picked a bike but couldn’t get my size in my time frame. Matt did go to some lengths to get my first choice. So went home, had a think. Emails back and forth discussing with Matt, he was super patient with all my questions. Second visit picked a different, better bike. Paid the deposit, got the bike in. Bike was built. Set a date. Then had as much time with Matt as needed to get me fitted and walked through step by step on everything covering the bike and he answered any questions. There was no rush no push just advice. So, what are you waiting for, get to The Bicycle Lounge in Ormskirk, I tell you now. You won’t be disappointed and you will find what you’ve often dreamt of. Check out the Bicycle Lounge website, Facebook and Instagram pages for a visual and the fantastic machines on display. Or ring Matt and his team. But trust me when you get there you will fall in love with the bike you want.

Matt and the guys offer the very best professional service. Their experience and honesty and no rush approach make the whole experience of investing in a bike first class. Bike fitting and discussion around needs and how to get the best out of returning to cycling go beyond expectations.

I am a keen cyclist generally doing 100+ miles/week and I have been using the Bicycle Lounge in Ormskirk for the servicing and maintenance of both my road bikes.
I couldn’t be more complimentary about the people who work there.
They are honest and obliging.
They have (on many occasions) research parts for me to allow me to then access item to either fix it myself or to return with the part for them to carry out the repair.
Serving is always of a high standard.
They have also carried out work at short notice to help me out.
My intention is to continue to use the Bicycle Lounge because of the great service they always provide.

Matt and the team helped me out once again after wearing out the mountain bike I bought from them eight years ago- they advised a gravel bike to suit my current riding needs. Setup was thorough and plenty of time spent on it as well. Very happy with the bike and its setup. Matt also adjusted my cleat position which helped.
This is my third bike through the Bicycle Lounge, with the team also providing four bikes for my wife and daughters, as well as servicing (because they just won’t😂).
Always happy with the service👍

I bought a Pinarello X5. It’s some years since I did any road biking but the guys , Sean and Matt couldn’t have been more friendly and knowledgeable. I asked lots of questions , they were patient and I felt really comfortable and relaxed being fitted for the bike even though I’m a real novice ! I can’t recommend them highly enough . I’m absolutely thrilled with my bike .. they made all the adjustments some before I came for the fitting - the whole experience has been beyond excellent ! . It didn’t matter that I was a complete novice with very little knowledge they wanted me to enjoy the bike and I couldn’t be happier with the bike and the service - nothing was too much trouble and they gave me lots of tips for riding , encouraged me to come back in a couple of months to reassess :-)

Bought an Enigma Escape from the Bike Lounge. A great experience, Matt handled the process very professionally, the bike was ready as per the promised delivery date, it was set up perfectly using dimensions from my previous bike. The bike itself has been great, an ideal winter bike but also a gravel bike due to its wide clearances, I would thoroughly recommend.

Took my bike in for a bike fit, Matt is extremely knowledgable, friendly and has set my bike up superbly. Well priced and not in any way rushed. I’d 100% recommend.

Fantastic service very friendly and knowledgeable on bike fit enjoyed the vist

Collected the latest bike from The Bicycle Lounge for my son, a Frog MTB 62, fantastic bike & fantastic service from the team at The Bicycle Lounge! Highly recommend if you want friendly, helpful & genuine advice!

I have recently purchased a Dogma F from the bicycle lounge. Matt was extremely accomodating and ensured the process from start to finish was professional and efficient. Any querys i had, i always received a response usually within hours, if not then it was always the next day. Highly reccomend

Absolutely fantastic professional and friendly service. Can’t recommend The Bicycle Lounge enough. Thanks guys!

I have brought a new Wilier bike from The Bicycle Lounge and the support, advice and service has been excellent. Everything from the initial enquiry to the bike fitting was brilliant. I really appreciated the advice and during the bike fitting was not rushed and felt that I was being listened to so the bike fit worked for me and the cycling I do. I would highly recommend buying a bike from the Bicycle Lounge.

Booked my road bike in for a service. Parts replaced, all set up perfectly, and ready as promised in 4 days. Went out for a long ride straight away and couldn’t have had a smoother, quieter experience. I’ve been a customer for 10 years and have always been given great advice and always received a quality, friendly service.

I cannot recommend the Bicycle Lounge highly enough. From my first visit to the final bike fit, the whole process was a pleasure. The level of service provided and the advice given was exceptional. I will definitely use the Bicycle Lounge again.

Always a pleasure to get a new bike from Matt. Brilliant attention to detail from him and great at communicating progress. Bike-fitting and personalised measurements spot on. Would highly recommend The Bicycle Lounge!

First rate service from the guys at The Bicycle Lounge. An unrivalled choice of bikes and these guys really know what they're doing when it comes to the fit. If you want a high quality service when purchasing a bike you need to using The Bicycle Lounge. Thoroughly recommended.

So, I have been indecisive about buying a new full road bike in addition to my gravel and older rim braked road bike. I wanted to take my time as there is so much choice out there. The owner of The Bicycle Lounge is ultra knowledgeable and has extensive experience in the cycling business and different cycling activities. Matt, the owner, advised me on all sorts of things and although my bike was towards the high price end, he was able to tell me what savings I could make in various ways. An after sales service has been offered which I will use in which the bike and measurements etc will be checked. Nothing is too much trouble and The Bicycle Lounge simple want to see more people happy on suitable bikes from commuters to enthusiasts and even racers!

An excellent bike shop. I've just bought a Enigma Edge titanium gravel bike and I'm really happy with the advice I was given throughout the process. The bike was customised to my specification and then Matt spent two hours making sure that it was a perfect fit. Having been out on my First ride today, I can confirm that it's a lovely ride.
