Elemental zum Testen geschickt bekommen. Egal, wie gebrüht wird, es schmeckt konstant nach Zitronensäure. Mit „fruchtig“ hat das leider nichts zu tun, geschweigedenn mit „schokoladig“ etc… Wenig Körper.

Customer care is horrible
I have ordered coffee online and they shipped it after I sent an email over 2 weeks later. The customer care is horrible. They should find someone that knows how to talk to the customers. It doesn't even matter the quality of the coffee anymore.

Ich hoffe sehr das mein Kaffe den ich Anfang Dezember bestellt habe pünktlich zu Weihnachten ankommt es sollte ein Weihnachtsgeschenk werden ! Schon sehr ärgerlich vor allem da auf der Website garantierte Lieferung bis Weihnachten steht da bin ich mal gespannt ! Zudem möchte ich erwähnen das wenn man dem Support schreibt die einfach nur antworten Zitat „Das wurde verschickt!“ Ja meine Frage war ob das auch tatsächlich bis Weihnachten ankommt es tut mir leid das ich gefragt habe war definitiv das letzte Mal das ich hier bestellt habe !

Vorsichtig !! Lieferung dauert sehr lange. Weihnachten kommt zu plötzlich.
Aus den Bewertungen und Erfahrungen des letzten Jahreswechsels/Weihnachten nichts gelernt. Lieferung steht nach 10 Tagen immer noch aus !!

Guter Kundenservice, super Kaffee
Habe am Wochenende des Black Friday bestellt. Im Laufe der Woche erhielt ich die Nachricht dass durch das hohe Bestellvolumen und Krankheitsfällen im Logistik Team Verspätungen auftreten können. Letztendlich kam das Paket dann nach 1 Woche. Bestellt am 28.11., erhalten am 5.12. Das finde ich mit Verzögerung vollkommen in Ordnung, am besten fand ich aber die transparente Information. Der Kaffee war auch frisch am 2.12. geröstet und schmeckt fantastisch. Ich werde definitiv nochmal dort bestellen.

The 1 star goes to the customer service , and because I read similar reviews about how badly they are handling issues since months that are clearly theirs, not the customer's , and still nothing changed.
My advent calendar arrived on 12.05., not a single "sorry" sent to me about that. Paid for it in September... package handed over to UPS on 12.01. only.
(go ahead and change UPS to another freight partner if you keep having problems with them since months, or take responsibility for the problems!).
The calendar itself printed as a dark blackish block, can't even see the numbers on it, there are nothing printed on the daily packages, I have to open their website to check what's inside. Let's say that it was very unfortunate to ask for nearly double price of the coffee for this. Expensive lesson learned.

I adore advent calendars from Barn. This December is my second year with Barn calendar and it looks and feels just great. I also buy test roasts and couple other sorts from them occasionally - everything is always ok.

Specialty Coffee is where it’s at.
Ordered some incredible beans Volcan Azul H1, and had to wait a bit for delivery due to a new shipping warehouse. But it was well worth the wait. The coffee is amazing. And it had some time to age in the package. Brilliant stuff. Thanks!!!

Patronising and dismissive
God forbid you ever need to deal with the customer service team — they are patronising and speak to customers as if you’re beneath them. I have honestly never been treated with such rudeness by a company. It’s shocking that a brand would treat customers this way.

The best coffee but the worst customer service !
We’ve loved The Barn Coffee since 2021, when we first discovered them in Dubai. Ever since, we’ve considered their coffee some of the best in the world. We’ve always had wonderful experiences at their café in Dubai – the quality, the atmosphere, and the service have always been outstanding.
Since we live between Dubai and Denmark, we’ve been ordering coffee online from The Barn in Berlin for the past few years, and it has usually worked very well.
However, during our most recent purchase, I was genuinely surprised by the way their Customer Service chose to handle our inquiry. It was a truly disappointing experience – the tone felt impersonal, and the responses came across as both unhelpful and somewhat dishonest. I didn’t feel the warmth, professionalism, or appreciation one would expect from a brand operating at this level.
It was honestly so disheartening that, for the first time, I don’t feel like ordering from The Barn again. It’s a real shame, because their coffee remains exceptional – but when you’ve been a loyal customer for years, you expect a much higher standard in the way you’re treated.

Ignored cancellation, worst customer support
I couldn't log into my account and the passwort reset didn’t work. My experience with the customer support is:
- They take days to answer, if they answer at all
-They take no initiative, you have to ask and ask and ask
-They tried the same solution two times without success and then suggested to try it a third time. They seem to be completely clueless.
- I contacted a manager, he replied but nothing changed
- The best of all: even though I cancelled my subsctiption via mail, they book the next delivery as if nothing happened.
Its been over a month.
I can only speak about the online shop, not the cafés, but my advise is: stay away
Update: I demanded a refund for the booking they made after my cancellation and informed them that I will take legal action if they fail to comply.
I got a swift answer and after two days also the refund.
