I received zero level of customer service. I booked to have my brakes fixed and on the morning of it I received no phone call advising me of my time slot between 12-4. I still proceeded to wait in and go without a car assuming they would just turn up or ring me when they were on their way. By 4 o'clock I had no contact from them so I tried to ring the helpline but it was closed. Saturday morning I received an email rebooking me in for day I could not make. Again I had no communication as to why they failed to turn up the day before or when was a convenient day to rebook. I then had to contact them and rearrange and wait another week. In between having my brakes down and them not turning up I emailed twice complaining and still have not heard back. Not even an acknowledgement of the email. Shocking customer service.

Great service, mechanic was very professional.

When the AA guy Jordan came out to assist me recently when my car wouldn’t start, he was really helpful. As a precautionary measure, after getting my car started, he even followed me home to ensure I reached safely. The mechanic, Dan that came by a few days later was also very reliable and professional, worked in the rain and fitted in the new started. Overall excellent service from AA.

I have had an abysmal experience with the AA SmartCare service. Wasted all day Saturday waiting for a morning appointment that never happened and then the mechanic for the re-arranged morning appointment turned up in the afternoon.
No-one answers the provided phone number. Emails refer to work happening in a garage and after having had parts fitted i still have an issue with the car sounding terrible when it starts up. If i could give this service zero stars i would.

On time, quick but thorough and a cull follow on report - good value as well.

Very happy with the interim service provided by Mick. AA has advertised to give AA members a 20% discount for this service. I am still waiting to receive this £30 discount.
As well as being an AA breakdown member I paid £200 for an AA mechanic inspection report prior to buying Honda Jazz NK63 NLU.

The mechanic was friendly professional and outstanding.
Unfortunately the same can not be said about the call centre, who were useless and of no use whatsoever. It took over 10 minutes a time to get a response and then they lied telling me the mechanic was delayed, however I later found out that they had cancelled my appointment with him and then added it again after diverting him. So a morning appointment turned into almost 3pm. They obviously don't care about customers or their own staff.
The call centre have then sent me emails the day after the work was done telling me the mechanic would be with me shortly. Call centre staff are unprofessional and useless.

Polite mechanic. Discussed findings and finished work promptly. Also finished by putting car correctly back on driveway.

Great communication, asked if could come earlier which suited me, very professional, I'll never take my car to the garage for a service ever again, was more convenient to do at my home, no mess, no drips or spills 10/10

The mobile mechanic appears to have fixed the issue but was late arriving. I ended up having to take a full day’s annual leave from work because of this which means I now have no more annual leave left till the end of the year. Not very happy about that.

Excellent service, from initial booking to job completion.
Mobile mechanic at my own home, so I didn’t need to take time away from work nor battle with morning traffic to get my car to a garage and join a queue! Perfect job by the mechanic, he also had a quick look around my car to check tyres etc and he cleaned up afterwards. Total convenience and good value for money
