Memory foam pillows had an off-gassing smell for days that caused an allergic reaction, swelled throat and difficulty breathing. Customer service refused to take a return or even an exchange in light of these health effects.

Highly discourage anyone from shopping here, for anything. This company has an outdated return system. It's 2026--you can return anything, anywhere.

**Update: After a long back and forth process they finally approved my warranty claim. Even though the process was very frustrating I am glad it was finally approved. I will be ordering my replacement mattress early next week and will only have to pay shipping/delivery.

They don't stand by there warranty they just give you the run around. I sent info and they denied saying the sag didn't meet the requirements. I provided an additional photo closer to my side of the bed and then they said it was stain related. Then I sent follow up photos proving the only thing I could have seen as a stain was a shadow. Now then they wanted a video. It's been round and round with them and honestly it feels very ingenious and like they have no intention of fulfilling warranties. It's been very frustrating to say the least.

I have been extremely disappointed with Tempur-Pedic regarding their warranty process. My mattress sits on a metal frame with BC-quality plywood that does not splinter—not just a sheet of plywood—but my warranty claim was denied anyway.

Customer support has been unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to escalate my case to someone who actually understands the situation. After multiple attempts to clarify the facts, I still have no resolution.

For a premium brand that charges top dollar, this level of service is unacceptable. I strongly caution anyone considering a purchase: the warranty process is rigid, opaque, and frustrating if anything goes wrong.

I've had my Adapt-Pro mattress under 8yrs.
There's clear sagging in the middle and is so uncomfortable to sleep in. My partner and I both roll into the middle.
I tried calling and there's no way to verbally communicate with the warranty dept.
Ive filled a warranty claim through the online forms, submitted all my photos, get an email saying I need more photos to verify, they literally just copy and paste paragraphs for you to figure out what was wrong with your photos. I've stripped my bed and remade it idk how many times now bc they keep finding something wrong with my photos even though it's clear there's sagging, it's as clean looking as if I just bought it from the store. The most recent email issue about my photos was I need to shut my curtains... "Natural light and lamps can create glares on the mattress" it's MN snowy winter here, there's not much light coming in from outdoors anyways.
It's almost as if they do any and everything they can to deny your claim. I responded back with questions to confirm what I needed to do to ensure I finally got the photo they were looking for and I get an email back saying sorry my claim doesn't meet their standards and closed my warranty out. Are you kidding me! They can't even have a conversation to clarify what they're looking for.
If I'm paying $2500 I'd hope my mattress would last the 10yrs that they claim it to!
It makes me want to never suggest this company to anyone and if someone's thinking of buying one I'm going to tell them to choose a different company!! Definitely not worth the money you invest in them!!

Bought 2 very expensive directly from Tempur-Pedic thinking that the quality would be good along with service. The pillows arrived to my boss while they were away traveling. When they opened the pillow - 1 pillow had an obvious yellow stain on it. I contacted them and they will not replace the pillow. Very disappointed.

They do not return pillows, I purchased two pillows I opened one box and I didn't like the pillow so I contacted the company and they refused to return both the opened and unopened box. They don't state at checkout that pillows are nonrefundable. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY.

I’m a disabled U.S. Marine Corps veteran who bought a “premium” mattress from Tempur-Pedic because I have serious back and hip injuries and need proper support to sleep.
The mattress developed a small hole that kept getting worse until the internal structure started pushing through. Now the support digs into my back when I sleep.
I filed a warranty claim expecting a company that charges thousands for a mattress to stand behind it.
They denied it.
Their response? A generic template blaming “improper use,” stains, burns, storage issues — none of which applied. No real investigation. Just deny and move on.
So here’s the reality:
Expensive mattress.
Structural failure.
Warranty that doesn’t stand behind the product.
As a disabled Marine connected with the Wounded Warrior community, I can tell you this: Tempur-Pedic just lost a customer for life.
I’m filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I’ll be sharing this experience everywhere I can so other consumers — especially veterans — know what they’re dealing with.
If you’re considering Tempur-Pedic, just understand: when the mattress fails, their warranty might fail you too.

Very poor return policy on items that are not mattresses. Buy off amazon if you must.

Purchased a Tempur-pedic mattress approximately five years ago. We also purchased the adjustable bedframe. There is a spot where the bedframe adjust up, that bends in the mattress. Somehow the foam became weak and ripped. You can see the coils under the foam.
I was not told that using an adjustable bed frame would reduce the life of the mattress. I spent way too much money $6000 on this bed for it to only had last five years and not to be covered under warranty!!!
I even called the store where we purchased it at and asked them if there was anything that they could help me appeal the denial. The employee laughed and said nope, you need to take it up with the manufacturer. How do they know that you didn’t rip it on purpose?
I was like if you Google this issue, there are many, many, many complaints about this occurring!
My advice is to stay away from this brand!!

This is the worst mattress I have ever owned! It broke down within a few years and the company would NOT stand behind their stated warranty as promised. This is also the most I have ever paid for a mattress and we are very disappointed in Tempurpedic and will be sharing our experience with others to warn them.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Ordered a King cloud mattress from the website which should be 80x76 inches in size, but in reality was 80 inches long and barely 72 inches wides leaving a huge gap between the frame and mattress. I understand there can be a bit off but 4 inches is too much of a gap to dismiss and clearly a defective item. Communication with warranty took months, as every email will request a new photo and new video, meaning I had to take out bedding, take pictures and videos as requested, send them over. Once I receive a response it will request more angles of pictures and videos and I had to take off bedding, move mattress and do it over again. Btw, I have pregnant in my 3rd trimester and all the moving was inconvenient. After at least 7-8 rounds of back and worth and at least 50 pictures and videos they have agreed to change my mattress, but I had to pay $175 dollars for my own shipping. I was out of town and had my aunt come receive the mattress on the delivery date. They somehow convinced my aunt I needed a Cal King, didn't even bother moving in the new mattress and just left!
This company with this quality, and this level of communication should go bankrupt. There are many new mattress companies coming out and I hope they shall soon no longer be competitive. Not sure if I will ever get my "correct" mattress, but Tempur-Pedic is the worst company I've dealt with so far. Never again.

Do not buy any product from Tempur-pedic. They are a horrific company with horrific products. Their products are complete junk they stand behind. Nothing don’t be stupid. Look at the reviews. They have a one and a half. star rating they have been sued numerous times don’t buy any of their products. Their products are junk and it will destroy your neck if you buy a pillow and if you buy a mattress, it will destroy your back. Their products are complete junk with a company that stands behind nothing. I talked to this company today and basically they could care less what I had to say about their defected pillow that they make there is no accountability for their products. They don’t even check and see if they’re properly made and then when somebody has a complaint, they don’t wanna hear a word about it.Zero accountability for their products. They basically told me we do nothing. You don’t like it throw it away. This company needs to go out of business immediately or made to be shut down I have bought pillows from this company before and the new pillows. Do not even look the same or I have the same comfort feel the new ones are thinner less padded on the bottom side of the pillow so obviously the pillow has been made defectively in the company does not want to hear one word about it and they do not want to do one thing for you and with that issue, the company will not warranty nothing. This issue does not fall under their warranty guidelines, which is absolutely pathetic. It is a defective product and they don’t want to hear about it or do anything about it. That is what a warranty is about a defective product same thing people tell me about their mattresses. Their mattresses are defective and they don’t wanna addressed the issue. They just want to blame the customer and tell the customer if you don’t like it, throw it away what kind of ridiculous warranty is that the whole idea of a warranty is to cover defects not to tell the Consumer if you don’t like it throw it away so you have to throw away $3000 totally pathetic. that’s why I stress to tell people do not do business with this company. They don’t want to hear about their defective products so people should stop buying their defective products that they don’t want anybody to tell them about.

BEWARE - First mattress purchased only good for 2-3 years, “should have learned my lesson then” 2nd one purchased queen firm pro adapt after 3-4 years only able to sleep on one side. Was told from store where I purchased it to place something heavy on each side & take a photo.For your information I was only 170lbs throughout this time. I put a 5 gallon pale of paint on each side and on the good side sunk maybe 1-1/2” on the side I could no longer sleep on in sank 5-6”. The company where I purchased it was great to deal with and agreed there was something definitely wrong with the foam. They submitted a warranty claim and Tempurpedic denied it. Company again sent in a claim only to be denied again. I then I went direct to Tempurpedic Canada to try to deal with them on my own only to be given the run around. I am now far too disabled and tired to even attempt to keep fighting for what I know is right. I absolutely 100% warm you Do not buy a Tempurpedic mattress. Avoid at all costs. You will regret it in the end. Buyer Beware.

Bought a temperpedic mattress 4 years ago 2022, got my recipt and noticed they sold me a 2019 mattress in 2022... i need to see if this is legal or not,me and girlfriend waking up with hip and back pain, about to submit warranty claim but they are known to decline the claim.. do not buy this crap mattress its way overpriced

The pillow I got (serenity by temper-pedic is absolutely amazing the only down side is that the smell when it first comes out of the box is bad but other than that the best pillow I have ever had before.

They do not allow returns for pillows. We bought two of the memory foam pillows and they are severely uncomfortable. DO NOT buy from this company. The strict no return policy is ridiculous, but makes sense from their perspective when you’re shipping pillows that will give customers a constant neck ache.

Purchased a Tempur-Pedic for long-term support. After 5 years it causes back pain, but warranty only covers visible indentations — not support failure. Disappointing for a premium brand.

This company is the absolute worst! I mean it. They have seriously gone down hill. Their products have become total garbage and their customer support is even worse. They don’t stand behind their products and they should be embarrassed of the operation they run. If you are the highest priced on the market - you should have the highest customer experience ratings! Look at all the bad reviews, people are getting scammed and stuck with expensive products that the company doesn’t stand behind.

Do not waste your money. The mattresses are of poor quality. My wife and I hate both Tempur Pedic mattresses we tried. Bought a mattress new in September, 30 days later, exchanged it for poor quality with Mattress Firm, 3 months later, the wife and I are waking up with terrible back pain, rib pain and hip pain. Bought new from mattress firm in Roanoke Va. Mattress Firm won't refund our money since we had one exchange due to poor quality. Contacted Mattress Firm Corporate office and Tempur Pedic, they won't refund or exchange the mattress. So we're stuck paying over $3,000 for a mattress that we can't use. The middle of the mattress sinks in and Tempur Pedic claims it doesn't meet their "defective standards." This is our second attempt at a Tempur Pedic mattress. I do not recommend any of the mattresses. The warranty and the mattresses are a joke and a waste of money. You'd be better off buying a cheap mattress off of Amazon and saving a lot of money. I will definitely be taking my business to another mattress company and a mattress brand.

I ordered the Tempurpedic Cloud pillow on a Bogo and they are the cheapest non supporting pillows I have ever experienced. We owned and used the Cloud pillows for eight years and they were great pillows. It was time to replace so in ordering the same product you would expect the same quality. I was so disappointed as soon as I opened the box. We slept on them for two nights only to toss and turn and have stiff necks. In contacting the company they do no stand behind their product. No exchange or refund. Buyer beware!
