Helpful and easy to use
I use this app to track the books I read. One of the features I really like is that it not only keeps track of the titles, but also provides data on the genre of books I have read. It’s interesting to see my reading trend over time. I use it to challenge myself to read different types of books, new authors I have not yet read, and genres outside my usual go-tos. Glad it was recommended to me!

I had a really hard time getting through a book and needed to so I could participate at my book club. SS was so well laid out and gave me the nuts and bolts I needed. I actually went back and finished the book!

Good customer service
Update: After my review the company reached out to me and advised they were issuing a refund. I still think the wording of the initial offer was misleading but appreciate that they cared enough to make it right. The concept of this app is great, just not what I was looking for.
Original review -No way to really check it out without signing up. So, I signed up under a free trial period but they charged my card for a full year. I tried to contact them for a refund but they did not respond. The service does not have the books we are currently reading (at least 3 months out) in my bookclubs so the service is useless for what I thought it would be.

Concise but complete summary
I had read this particular book a few years ago. It was a bookclub selection and I wanted to refresh my memory without rereading it.
I appreciated the concise but accurate summary of the book. All the major parts were included and I was able to participate well in the discussion.

Book Club Superpower
I joined SuperSummary to refresh my memory of books I had read a few months prior to the meeting, either just because I had discovered it or because that is when I could get it from the library. What a great idea as now I can review it whenever I want whether a meeting is on the horizon or to see if I might want to reread the book.
