Incredibly and unlike any other purchase you might make from China's businesses, the product arrived in a few days, overpowering
The use is a bit complex .... It takes time to get used to it.
I would recommend allowing faster 2-piece disassembly to allow more minimal storage space in the boat

all seemed good with the spare parts i ordered until delivery costs then import tax were added which made it the most expensive piece of string ever!

I'm sorry to hear you are disappointed with the costs of the spare parts you ordered. I totally agree that the costs are way to high when you add the cost of shipping and taxes. Unfortunately we only control the product prices. The rest of the costs are by the delivery courier and your country's government.
Send us an email and we might be able to refund some of the product costs in order to bring the total amount down to a acceptable level.

Frais exorbitants de douane à payer lors de la réception du colis et bien sûr non indiqué lors de l’achat. Tout simplement malhonnête.

I am sorry you were surprised that you had to pay for customs fees. However, this is quite normal and expected when ordering from a another country. I addition, during the checkout process we inform that additional duties, taxes, and customs fees might apply for orders outside USA and Norway. I am sorry if this was not clear enough. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make things right.

Great product, expensive shipping+customs fee
Great product! Shipping was fast but very expensive! Custom and import fee was also very very high... together about 80$ extra...
Subwing 200$ + 80$ shipping and customs... i think thats too much

Thanks for the review! Some countries have a high duty rate when ordering from outside the country's borders. We wish we could something about this, but unfortunately it completely depends on each countrys laws and regulations. We will recommend to check with your county's duty rates before ordering from abroad next time.

I cant get my daughter out of the water…
I cant get my daughter out of the water now and I'm just putting around the bay in my whaler. Definitely better with the longer line. Well done. Well thought out and well packaged. UPS took forever on the 4 to 5 day service and turned it into 8 to 9 days service but Subwing had it in their hands immediately with great email updates.

Tip: You can tow multiple Subwings simultaneously behind the same boat. If you're interested in getting one more, send us an email and we can give you a discount.

No mention of import tax when you buy off their website. Excellent product but try to buy locally.

I am sorry you were suprised by the import tax. All customers outside Norway and USA will most likely have to pay a tax when the order arrives in their country. We will find a way to inform about this on our website.

The Subwing is very good
The Subwing is very good. A lot of fun and very easy to use. We ordered the bag, rope and GoPro mount. However the bag that we purchased with it had a rip along the stitching. I had to fix it as best I could as it stays in the boat and didn’t want it to get damaged.
