Disgraceful customer service.
I would not recommend at all. I am a genuine customer who is normally easily pleased but my experience with this company has left me with no option than to rate them 1*
Their replies to my emails border on rude & portray a couldn’t careless whether they have your business or not attitude.
The raincoat, albeit the 3rd one due to faults with the other 2, is stylish & practical but I would NEVER purchase from them again.

Top quality product and hassle free purchase.
This is the my second purchase with Stutterheim and I always find their product to be of top-notch quality. Shipment was super fast and also customer service helped me choose the right size. Will definitely buy again.

Purchased one of their lightweight raincoats. Colour is lovely, but the design and build is pretty awful.

Between the water collecting in the pocket during a rain shower and the hood being too small to stay up as soon as I started walking (even with the pull toggles I had to pull & hold it up, meaning I had water running down my arms, my face and hair still got soaked, and I think my arm being up may be why the water collected in the pocket), I’m baffled at the way these coats are designed. I’m extremely disappointed as I was really looking forward to having & wearing the jacket. When I tried it on in the house it felt great, beautiful fit and looks very chic, but as soon as I walked around outside with it on I couldn’t believe how impractical the coat is.

I’m being refused a refund because I’ve already worn it for 20 minutes, and basically being told that it’s a fashion item rather than a practical one: “The design of our raincoats features fashionable attributes that in some occasions can compromise functionality, our product is not a high performance jacket,” even though they’re claiming on their website to pride themselves on the functionality of keeping wearers dry. Not even a discount offered to make up for how impractical the garment is. I wasn’t looking for anything of super high performance - but a raincoat should function as a raincoat and, especially at £150 a piece, the bare minimum function of a hooded raincoat should be to keep the wearers head dry.

Hassle free purchase and super happy with jacket. It really is top quality, very stylish and was packaged so neatly and with care. I'm glad I didn't let the other reviews deter me. I've read about the pockets collecting water and wondered if an internal chest pocket would be a good thing to have in future designs... Thank you Stutterheim xx

Great product quality but crap service. The coat was over sized and needed to be returned. It was a Christmas gift for my wife and I asked to exchange. Their policy is no exchanges, but I could return and then buy another item (and of course the price had gone up a lot). I explained I really just wanted to exchange for a smaller size and that it was a Christmas gift. It took 4 more emails over a few weeks from myself before they replied on January 3rd and simply said no exchanges were allowed.

I love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Stylish, perfect fit. Gorgeous colour selections made it hard to decide but I am SO happy with the green I selected. It is beautifully made and is a truly luxurious raincoat (who knew there was such a thing?). The customer service I have experienced has been straightforward but supportive (I neglected to add my discount code and they honoured it after the fact). The returns form/customs form with ALL pertinent information was sent to me BEFORE I even received the item reassuring me that I would not be stuck with it should I not like it. There were ZERO additional fees upon delivery to Canada. I cannot express how happy I am with the experience from start to finish and how over-the-damn-moon happy I am with the raincoat itself. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT.
I want every colour.

The raincoat is extremely well made . Sizing on the large size as is the sleeve length. The problem lies within customer service which is abysmal. Bought 2 coats to find out which size is best for me. In order to return the one which was too big, you need a custom’s invoice which Stutterheim maintain is sent to you . I definitely did not receive it. I have emailed them several times but they do not reply. I have tried phoning them but have not managed to get through. I phoned their carrier UPS and they emailed me a blank form. Unfortunately I am not able to fill in the form as I do not have the required missing information which Stutterheim should have provided, so I cannot send back the unwanted coat, as without the completed pro forma, it will fail to get through customs. Customer beware- you will be unable to return any product to get a refund.

Yes, the jacket is stylish. Nothing more than that. Nice to have it when it doesn't rain. Otherwise, you'll get water in the pockets and your tights are gonna be totally wet.

This has to be the company with the rudest customer service... here is what they said when I complained about being charged additional carrier duties totalling over £40 and my return was then sent back to me by UPS...

"Thanks for getting in touch. First, you are not charged for any duties or taxes for your delivery. This is all covered by us. And secondly, if you had follow our return instructions you would not have any problem returning this to us. Now, the original UPS return label has already been consumed and we have been charged for the failed return."

What a terrible way to address a customer!

The product will be returned because it is oversized and vastly overpriced for what is basically an unlined rubber coat. My advice, avoid unless you like being treated like dog dirt.

Fit: 5/5 great, enough room for a wool jumper underneath.

Waterproofness: 5/5 was out in the rain yesterday to trial it out, my upper half stone was dry, I was not wearing waterproof trousers to my legs were a little damp, but that's on me for not wearing appropriate clothes. I wore it with wool also, which has a 30% water absorbancy so I didn't notice any dampness due to sweat.

Style: 5/5 I wore a warm honey jacket, it looks fantastic, very nice cut, pairs well with jeans, and Redwings (picked out the yellow detail in the laces nicely), also got a compliment from the man at the tills where I do my local shopping.

Customer Service: N/A
Delivery & packaging: 5/5 I paid for the additional speedy delivery service, and it arrived next day from Sweden in a nice box, neatly folded.

Quality: 5/5 fantastic, stitching is very neat, buttons are strong, material is luxurious to the touch, the inside is just as presentable as the exterior of the coat - a lot of care went into making this garment.

Overall 5/5 for £127 after seasonal discount was an absolute bargain. I have nothing bad to say.

The company sells coats they do not have...

Ordered on Wednesday afternoon, received on Friday afternoon, great service! beautifully packaged.
Totally impressed with the quality of manufacture, the look, everything.
Very pleased.

For the price of these coats, I wouldn't expect the pockets to fill with water. I'm not sure why they go to so much effort with the design & materials and then overlook such a simple aspect as adding a tiny cover to the opening of the pocket - it completely ruins the experience, as soon as you put your hands in your pockets you feel a little puddle of water...pointless purchase and not worth the price tag. AVOID.

I had a problem with my order so I reached out to the customer service. I was helped in no-time to place my order. After, I hadn't yet received the tracking, and once again they helped me within a few minutes. The aftersales departement, as specially Stefan, deserves a good feedback!
I ordered on Monday afternoon, and the order was shipped immediately and estimated delivery is on thursday. Very happy about Stutterheim!

jag har inte använt min regnrock mer än en gång hittills, så den är svår att bedöma. Däremot valde jag expressfrakt och lade till en avgift, men leveransen kom senare än vad den standardleverans uppges ta. Att skicka ett mail att "nu är din order skickad" samma dag som jag får paketet, känns rätt ohederligt när jag hade spårat mitt paket i flera dagar.

Super service and great products

I have purchased several products from Stutterheim and the fully live up to expectations.
Just had a situation with a product and the matter was solved right away.

I have a long black coat from Stutterheim. It really is waterproof, unlike other "waterproof" coats, and it always gets compliments. I had an issue with the original coat I'd bought but in the end this was sorted out through customer service. Thanks Stefan/Peter 👍

placed and order and still nothing. no coat and no response to emails. i dont know whats going on with this company...

Love my black raincoat! Living in Sweden its a bit rainy so when I got given this raincoat by my partner I was instantly happy. During the fall, this is my go to jacket, normally wear a down jacket underneath.

Ordered one of their Stockholm raincoats. Delivery was fairy good, delivered by Ups.

I feel unique walking around my town as it seems I'm the only one that has one. Probably the best raincoat that I've owed. The only criticism would be that they make the hoods too big, there's just too much fabric when it's up and I feel a bit like E.T.
