Bought a super expensive full length rain coat on my honey moon in Cornwall and paid full price, it cost over £200.00. The coat absorbs every kind of lingering smell in the atmostphere known to man. The care label suggests you wash it in the machine at 30 degrees, end result a very wrinkled rain coat with no way of getting the creases out, shockingly poor brand. Steer clear, don't make the same mistake myself and other customers have, see other reviews if you don't believe me. Rains brand is a much better option.

Ordered some shoes from them. Nearly 2 weeks and no shipment so I emailed them to ask when they'd be sent. 2 weeks and still no reply. I did get a reply on Instagram but they just said to email (which I already had done). Then the Instagram team stopped replying. In the end I had to cancel the order through Klarna in order to get a response and refund. And even then the response was boilerplate response.

Horrendous customer service from Stefan who like other reviews state, was incredibly rude and told me that they had never received any of my emails, when I proved with screenshots (including correct addresses and dates etc), he still maintained they never received any of them and never once apologised for being wrong about the emails or not refunding me the full amount for two raincoats that did not fit me. I am still waiting on the full refund over a month later. I am sure I will receive a sarcastic and rude response to this review too, but feel people need to know how badly they treat customers who have any issues with their orders.

I bought an item weeks ago. The item was labelled incorrectly (they sent me an XS instead of an S labelled as S!!!!). I returned it a few hours after I received it. After a few days, they received it, and I got confirmation from them about it. I also spoke to someone in customer service, and they said, "this coat was mislabeled when it was packed at the factory", not even an apology about it. I am still waiting for a refund. I emailed them, and they said it would be within 14 days, which is an insanely long time considering it was THEIR mistake.
I have also messaged them through other media, and they ignore my messages. The customer service was very rude, and the packing process was careless.

Not happy at all.
First: I order 2 to check which one fitted me the best and i had to print the label. Really inconvenient as at this point not that much people has printer home and i had to pay £5 to send it back.
Second: the jacket I bought is not really warm, it has open pockets instead of a zip. And the top part of the inside of the back, is made from the same material ( rubber) instead of padded fabric. And this makes my back sweat, not good design at all.

O had been trying to talk to them, they are replying quite quick bia email but they keep saying they can’t do anything about it.
As it’s a really expensive jacket I was expecting a better customer service
The reply was: don’t use too warm clothes underneath the jacket… but the jacket is not actually really warm…

Half decent coat until it wasn’t. The open pocket design is awful, water fills the pockets and leak inside the coat.

Customer service wasn’t superb, I bought it from men’s wear store vs direct from them and Stutterheim weren’t willing to help even with a copy of the receipt, not from us, kick rocks.

Appalling Customer service!! I had one of their raincoats purchased for me as a present a couple of years ago- the fabric around the poppers began to deteriorate and I reached out to Stutterheim. I was contacted several days later by a rather rude accusatory Stephan from Stockholm. Despite sending images inc. the reference code from the inside of the coat, I was basically accused of either having a fake or stolen coat as I was unable to demonstrate proof of purchase. I explained that I will leave this here as the tone was somewhat uncomfortable to say the least. Great shame to have lost a long term customer of many years and items purchased over the price of a coat. I will now also join the avoid at all costs in view of my awful customer service experience.

I dont understand why you are upset, to be honest. We are willing to offer you help but first, we need proof of purchase. You have no idea how many people contacted us with false intention and this is why we want to have some sort of proof for the purchase. We had retailers that have been robbed and lost their entire stock and where people have tried to return products to us for refunds or exchanges. We also have fake products circulating on the market and this is why we need this.

How utterly charming.

I would rate Stutterheim second to none from purchase to delivery. Free delivery & Free Returns which not many companies offer. Such an easy process too. Their website is brilliant and makes it so easy to follow. My order arrived from Sweden within just a few days. Their rain coats are excellent quality and made for the Swedish climate! The only downside was that the particular coat I ordered did not suit me as I hoped it would, but sending it back was a doddle and I was refunded within just a few days.

Website easy, however half the stock is always gone even on new items. However I made two orders 29th November, and had UPS confirm the delivery date and items received.

4 days later I've now received an email stating that the raincoat I ordered is now out of stock, despite still being listed as in stock on their website for the past 3 days!

It's not often I feel compelled to complain about a website and their service, but with no customer phone in and a customer service team that only seems to work weekends when you are paying a big chunk of money for what's on offer, I feel there's no choice.

I have emailed them back, but so far no response either. This is not a company I feel compelled to use again.

Still waiting for my bag after 4 weeks waiting. Customer service at Stutterheim are the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Don’t buy from this company unless you want to deal with rude and unhelpful customer service when your order doesn’t arrive. Now having to claim back payment via bank.

I’ve have purchased several pairs of their rain boots. Whilst they are stylish, they are poorly manufactured. One pair was returned due to having a hole which i luckily spotted and returned. However another pair had a loose bit of plastic inside the sole which gave a feeling of something continually stuck to the bottom of the boot…which I did not notice quick enough to return. Another pair split after insufficient amount of use.

Not sure why there’s only low scoring stars but my experience was superb, I bought a long raincoat on sale, and a pair of boots on sale along with free shipping, I had a few questions so I emailed and got an answer straight away with great customer service, I love the product and the customer service, Ive already planned to buy again, everyone loves my coat and boots, get with Stutterheim great trendy products. Some of their coats will drain directly onto your legs, soaking whatever you happen to be wearing. Others don't do this. However, they don't bother to tell you which, and none of their models are pictured with rain pants (unlike other raincoat companies).

Their customer service is terrible, snooty, doesn't write you back, and pretends not to get your messages. They simply do not care.

Horrible company. Would never buy from them again, and I don't recommend it. Based on what I am reading here, it seems like if anything whatsoever goes wrong with your order, you are screwed.

Big big flaw in the moseback coats. They have a small female head (hats and helmets I’d be a small). With any sort of pony tail or if your hair isn’t down basically the hood isn’t big enough. Not what you would expect from a very expensive and supposed to be practical coat

My return was signed for on 12.12.22 and I have yet to receive any acknowledgment from Stutterheim that it has been received nor has my refund has been processed

Awful service. Ordered a product 2 weeks ago, still not here. Now advised by it will be another two weeks. Thats 4 weeks to deliver a jacket to the UK. It has ruined Christmas as this was a present for my son. I left a message on their instagram which was immediately deleted as it wasn't favourable. You learn a lot about a brand during these.

Pockets fill with water and while very stylish, the design deposits rivers of water onto your knees

Repeatedly ignore requests for a refund when UPS/the parcel shop have lost our parcel - Customer Service keep advising to visit the parcel shop, blatant disregard for customers and actually reading their emails or trying to resolve the issue. To sum up, their Customer Service replied “What do you want me to do here?” - charming.

Still yet to receive a refund for goods we haven’t received - daylight robbery! Unfortunately having to resort to involving PayPal and the bank. Wish I had read previous reviews about their disgraceful customer service before ordering.

Originally bought this for my mum who didn't wear it. I'm now the proud owner. I wore it recently in Scotland and loved it. Its the lightweight in light grey colour. kept me dry and so trendy. The material has the knack of keeping you cozy. Big enough for layers underneath or worn with just a t-shirt. So great for all weather. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another. My only negative is that it can mark easily buy washes off with a damp cloth. I also own a Herchell raincoat which I also love but prefer the shape and look of this one.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS BRAND! Really terrible products. I bought one of their Winter raincoats but it's such poor quality and impractical for the price you pay. Despite it being a winter coat it wasn't even warm enough for a UK winter. The coat is utterly impractical in the rain, the fabric cuffs come down below the sleeves so soak up the water and rain runs into the open pockets. On the winter version the pockets are fabric inside so the water soaks into them and I have to assume into the lining. The next day the cuffs and pockets were still wet. The zip also broke on my jacket after only a few wears.
The response from customer service was that
"the issues you mentioned are not considered production fault. We believe that fashion can compromise functionality in some occasions." Apparently they can charge a high price for terrible products as they are fashionable. I would advise anyone to avoid this brand at all costs!
