Great Buying Experience
Excellent customer service from Catherine who was polite and attentive. She was able to answer the majority of my queries but sought assistance from her manager who kindly assisted.
No complaints at all from the store but I feel the website could do with improvement as not all options are available to configure online.
13 week delivery time which I believe is standard and I look forward to having my sofa delivered.

Initially sold us a carpet that was…
Initially sold us a carpet that was discontinued and email address wrong for first order/ invoice. Two days later returned and chose another carpet. Was told the sale 10% discount would apply then forwarded figures of new order with no discount on carpet. Spelt my name wrong during initial emails. Finally agreed delivery/ fitting date but phoned the day before to confirm appointment and asked to pay the balance which had been paid about 4 weeks previously. We have been customers of Sterling home for 40 years and spent substantial amounts on furniture, carpet etc rebut doubtful if I would use them again. On a positive note the guy who initially measured for the carpet and tge fitter were excellent.

Exceptional service, honest advice and genuine customer care
I was absolutely delighted with my experience at Sterling Home. The offers were excellent, but what truly stood out was the quality and honesty of the advice I received.
I would particularly like to mention the team in the carpet department. They took the time to properly assess what I needed, listened carefully and gave me excellent advice without ever rushing me or making me feel pressured to buy. They were also very respectful of the timescale of my renovation and suggested ways of adapting my purchases accordingly, including options that actually saved me money rather than simply encouraging me to spend more.
That level of honesty and genuine customer care was ultimately what gave me the confidence to make my purchase.
The same high standard was evident throughout the entire store. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable, professional and exceptionally pleasant to deal with. Good service deserves recognition, and Sterling Home certainly deserves it. A genuinely excellent experience from beginning to end.

Very poor and not fit for purpose.
The table is fine. The chairs are a disgrace and not fit for purpose. Apart from the very poor state of the chairs, we were left after the delivery to dismantle the seats to remove the covering - not exactly as paid for.
