Length of time waiting for new Dining Table
I bought a dining table and chairs at the end of July. I was told I would have it by mid to end of August. No update or date of when arriving now third week in September. Not happy with the length of time I have had to wait.

I recently purchased 2 leather recliner chairs and a large living room carpet, and considered the service from all staff I dealt with, as excellent. All staff went out of their way to help me make decisions, without any pressure to buy on my first visit.
After ordering, I was kept informed by email and telephone calls of the progress of my order which was delivered on schedule. The delivery staff were also extremely efficient and very pleasant.
My main criticism is the lack of sign posting , that a carpet department exists in the shop! When I discovered it. Staff were once again very pleasant and helpful and assisted me to make a large purchase!

After purchasing dinning table and…
Disappointed ….After purchasing dinning table and chairs and cabinet in store I was stressing I bought the wrong style. I phoned customer services one week later and was told there was nothing that they could do. They passed me onto the store who were very rude and basically told tough and I couldn’t change it. I was told items had been made especially for me which is a lie. It was standard pieces of furniture. I have bought so much from
sterling over the years but will not be buying anything again. Just be sure you like what you pick as there is no going back!

Easy Sale with Great Customer Service
Connor Ross in Hall 3 Beds was the magic in this sale. My wife and I went to look at beds but wanted to have a little time to look at them without being hounded. Connor did exactly that. He came over gave us a higher level view of the current offers and then left us to look round. My wife then spoke to him again and he took us to the area where the beds were per our requirements. He then left us again to have a look on our own which is exactly what should happen. He then came back and we made the purchase. The offer was good and the service from Connor was excellent. Too many times you are pounced on and almost harassed. This did not happen and Sterling should be proud of his customer service.

Don’t like the way that some staff follow you around the store. I understand that sales are important but some staff do appear quite pushy and that’s not welcoming.

We enjoyed a relaxed visit knowing what we wanted to purchase-and having decided we were then looked after-with no pressure by one of the staff.
All details were discusded including who would put the chairs together-and they arrived early and as timed by the delivery company.
