Past systems that I used to learn Chinese, taught me individual tones & vocabulary. The Star Mei system teaches you to use them together in phrases & sentences. I find that this speeds up my learning process.

I love practicing echo training and understanding how my brain works while learning a new language

The Echo program resonates with me. I have tried other courses to learn Mandarin, this seems to be the most effective so far. The voice is clear, and I like the English pronunciation prompts.

Really an excellent new style of language learning. I’ve tried everything from college courses to App Store recommendations and nothing gave me simple easy to understand daily phrases like this.

This is my first week in this StarMeiLife course and am already not shy to speak basic Chinese out loud. Found out the Chinese and English grammatical construction are very similar unlike Japanese language I grew up with. Therefore there will be no problem constructing phrases as you speak.

Just starting on this path to expand my language understand and skills. Excellent and responsive team.

As I get older I have time to learn a language without pressure. I picked what I thought was the most challenging to learn. I have only been at it for a week and I can honestly say I’m picking up on phrases. This program is a cheat code to unlock fluency in Chinese. I’m glad I came across this program.

Starmeilife has taken a different approach to teaching Chinese using phrases instead of teaching individual words. It’s more natural and you tend to pick up the poetic flow of how Chinese is spoken.

The application organization is excellent and allows you to review prior lessons without problem. The combination of videos with written material makes learning Chinese very easy a very affordable.

It's early days but straight from the get go everything seemed to fall into place. I feel safe trying to speak and not feel totally stupid. Of course I have a way to go but so totally looking forward and not trepidatious.

Well I just got this course this week, so far I’m in love with the method this echo System is. One thing that made totally agree is when we sing a music familiar to us … well the why I just started to learn make more confident like when I already learned a melody of the musica and I know all the next part is coming up.

I just started the course. The Videos are great. The Echo Training is my favorite so far. Sometimes the video content is faster than the audio but otherwise it is good.

I was always intimidated by Mandarin, the Chinese language. I've never been good at learning languages and I tried a few self-teaching Chinese language programs before. Crash and burn. But this is different. It's broken down into baby steps. I'm knew into this program but I already feel good about it and for the first time ever, the lessons are sticking. I'm ver happy with it!

This is s really good program if you want to learn chinese. You need to listen and give it a try. I thought I had been suckered into another learning program where I am going to get frustrated in a few weeks. This is different but actually has me speaking and feeling confident. I do wish it had an app to download.

An excellent method for learning phrases instead of individual words. Very useful.

This is different from the usual way of learning and, whilst still in the early days, It’s promising to be a better way of learning. Instead of watching the news and “recognising “ a word I am
beginning to hear phrases.

The lessons and homework are solid. The videos have a pacing issue: Sometimes the sentence we hear never appears on the screen. Not sure why that is.

But it's the perfect program for someone who's struggled with other learning methods. I took years of Saturday Chinese School growing up, but it was only 3 hours at once, once a week. My parents didn't speak Chinese at home, so I floundered even though I was a careful, hard-working student. Year after year, I made no real progress and my classmates just kept getting younger.

I took classes in Taiwan for a few weeks (again, the oldest at 26 years old surrounded by teenagers). I tried Lingopie too.

StarMeiLife has lessons that suit my age, and so far matches my needs the best.
