This is an edited review. I was really disappointed with the course - the bonus material was really weak - it was almost impossible to find that it was bonus material, and when you did find it, you saw that something that was advertised as 200 plus native conversations was nothing of the sort! It was a ten minute video. The customer service was good, and I'm awaiting my refund - I'll update if it doesn't come.

Adam responded to every inquiry pertaining to the purchase of the course. The method of teaching sound patterns and exceptions was effective. The handbook walks you through 28 days to improve your listening and speaking skills. The self assessment at the end of level one sets the baseline for measuring your real performance and growth over time. The flashcards are easy to access on your phone at any time. The essential words teach you vocabulary and hanzi.

It does waste some time talking about other students , rather than continuing smoothly with the learning.

Excellent lessons with great content! Delivery by email is fine for now, but an app or portal would take the user experience to the next level by making lesson reviews effortless. Highly recommended overall!

Rather than just giving vocabulary it helps you get started speaking Chinese right away.

Finally an approach that helps learners with a non- textbook approach to learning to speak Mandarin. Based on actual common phrases that help to construct sentences for native-like conversations. Plus, the creator of the website is extremely helpful and prompt with responses.

Though the lessons are good, there are technical issues from the beginning (lesson 2). Plus, the font is small when using your phone.

Simple and concise course. Very easy to follow.

Have been learning Mandarin with online tutors and vocab study, but still got stuck translating in my head when we traveled to China and when out with Chinese friends.
Bunching into sentences and working on automatic responses to common patterns is a great approach.
I just wish the initial package would include more content and less advertising for further purchases

Easy to navigate on the site, real life conversations and being able to talk everyday Chinese!

Am at lesson 1, chapter 2. The edits are so poor that the video either jumps or has the wrong tones (or tones don't match what is on the screen). Within 15 minutes, I fear I realized this was substandard.

I've been traveling to China for work for 20 years and have tried many times to learn, but it never stuck. All the gamified apps have done nothing for me. After about a week I'm starting to think this may make progress in being able learn Mandarin.

Very good program makes more sense than any other programs I've tried I've made up my mind to learn Mandarin Chinese at the age of 80. Thank you, Adam for your wonderful program.

Using real world phrases. Easy to understand

The program is functional and it makes learning chinese easy.

I’ve tried tradition apps and programs for learning Mandarin Chinese but always felt frustrated for making little progress. Now that I’ve found Starmeilife and their philosophy for language learning I find that I’m progressing at much better rate then previously experienced. The website is efficient, well planned and easy to navigate.
