This company is a total failure
This company is a total failure. I made an online order to be delivered in 5 working days. After 10 days the package has not arrived yet. Called the customer service, rings forever. Emailed the company, they have given me the phone number of the courier and asked me to get in touch with the courier directly.
Won't ever buy from this company.
Everything Sperry says is untrue
Everything Sperry says is untrue. You cannot expect your order to be processed within 24-48 hours. You cannot expect to receive your item within a reasonable amount of time or at all, but you CAN expect customer service to tell you that they’re processing it and they can’t cancel but they’ll wave the return fee. You shouldn’t expect a smooth transaction or customer service to resolve your issue. You should expect a transaction hold & no items.
CUSTOMER DISSERVICE
I placed an order 1 day ago. Tody, I called their customer srvice number because I wanted to change the color I ordered. Was told they couldn't do that. Was told to simply return shoes when they arrive and place a new order with the color I wanted. I didn't want to go to all that trouble and effort so asked to cancel my order. After a lengthy on hold, was told they had contacted warehouse to cancel order but couldn't guarantee it would be cancelled. They will let me know. And I thought I was calling CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will now have to go to effort of calling my credit card company to cancel.

I recently purchased a pair of deck shoes during a flash sale. I went to the page Sperry sent to me on my email, chose a pair that was on that page, entered the required code only to find out that they were not included in the sale after being charged full price. Even though they were on the page. I went through the time and effort to canceled the sale and received a full refund. Either their web master screwed up or they deceptively offered the sale. I like Sperry shoes but will not be buying them ever again, your deception was not appreciated and wasted my time. You lost a good customer. There are other companies that sale shoes and they will get my business.

Sperry has a cheap arrangement with FedEx that will not allow the customer to reschedule a delivery date or allow customer to pick up at Fed Ex Center. I wasted 2.5 hrs of my vacation today with 3 Fed Ex calls, 2 customer service calls and one manager call. Nothing was resolved. The packages will sit in front of my home alerting all (burglars etc) that I am out of town. This is too much of a hassle ... I will NEVER order from them again. There are too many other great companies out there.
Terrible Customer Service Experience
I received a notification that my order had been delivered. I was home and went promptly to my porch to grab the shoes. They were not there. I waited knowing that sometimes a driver will mark delivered earlier than actual delivery. I waited, checking periodically. Clearly, the driver left the package on the wrong porch. I called Sperry's customer service line and was told they would open an “investigation” with the carrier to try to recover the package. I heard nothing after a few days - I contacted customer service again to see what was happening with my order. I was told I would have to wait a couple more days because of the investigation. I heard nothing and on the 4th day – I made the contact with customer service again. I was told that FedEx was unable to recover the package so a refund was processed the previous day and it would take 2-5 business days for me to see it in my account. No one had the courtesy to follow up with me.
I do a lot of online shopping. I have only had one other package go missing. My experience with that company was vastly different. I called them and they immediately sent a replacement to me. I was not asked to wait while an investigation was conducted. I was not inconvenienced by the further delay in receiving the item I had ordered. They communicated well and I received excellent customer service.
I am terribly disappointed in Sperry's customer service. I was continually told by the customer service dept that it was the carrier’s issue. How Sperry chooses to handle their customers is on them not the carrier. My issues have not been the lost package, which is of course on the carrier - my issues are with the lack of customer service.
I would not order from them again.
Inconsistent
Some of their shoes are very nice. Others are fine. Some of their customer service reps are great. Others are not. Some shoes dig into your heels and make them bleed, ruining the shoes.
Their sizing is super inconsistent. It is impossible for me to know what to order because I have worn 10s that fit well, and 9.5s and 9s that have been way too big, but also 9.5s that fit well.
You can get a nice pair of Sperry shoes at a good price, but it is often a dice roll.

Sperry’s website was user friendly. I had a return and the process was very easy to use. Great prices and quick shipping especially during the holiday season.

I've had great experiences with Sperry. I bought a pair of shoes one time and they broke. Forget to send them back right away and we sent them back to Sperry 2 years later. They sent us a $70 gift card in no time. Just ordered 2 new pairs of shoes and they have solid quality.
