Sperry sent me the wrong shoes
Sperry sent me the wrong shoes, nothing like the order I placed. Customer service was rude and offered no help other then for me to repurchase the correct order and for me to return the wrong item to fed ex, not even offering expedited shipping. I do not trust this company. Buyer beware!
Quality
I have purchased Sperry Woman’s Crest Vibe sneakers for several years. 4 white, 1 grey, 1 yellow, 2 beige , 1 black. My latest pair of white is significantly below par to previous ones purchased. The canvas is definitely thicker with a rougher weave and have not softened. The comfort is below par. I noted the stitching on the front is completely different and the fit is completely different. The toe bed seems to be wider and the lacing is tighter and has no give. I have to use a shoe horn to get them on. Very disappointed with overall quality for all of the above reasons.
Poor quality Sperry boat shoes
The soles of my Chinese-made Sperry boat shoes literally fell apart in a matter of months. Maybe Sperrys made elsewhere are better quality but I won’t be buying this brand again.
Sperry do not offer any refurb service
I’ve had my Sperry for several years and I liked the comfort, but although they don’t yet need resoling I contacted them to ask if they either have a service or recommend a shoesmith that can replace the distinctive Sperry sole with the same. The answer was NO! I even said that that wasn’t eco friendly. No reply. I’ll probably never buy Sperry again!
SHOCKING SERVICE
What can I say........Posted a review on Sperry's web site and it never appeared. who would deal with a company that wont post the negative comments! Ordered size 11 and received size 12, did not get order confirmation as it went to my junk folder. Called and explained to be told i'd ordered size 12 which I know I definitely didn't as i've never ordered 12 before, i've always been 11. They would not accept that they got it wrong. I asked for a manager to call back, never got a call. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SEVICE - THINK TWICE BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER. I am returning the item at my own expense and will shop elsewhere with a company that has customer service at the core of its culture. Order was for an upcoming holiday so if I liked the product I was going to order 3 additional pairs for the rest of my family. LOOK ELSEWHERE, OTHER COMPANIES MAKE SHOES.

I have been wearing Sperry Navy Blue Boat Shoes since I found them in 1977 when I moved to Bermuda, just about everyone wore them there. They were almost indestructible and seemed to last forever always looking better for age. Alas I have noticed the quality go down and the price going up over the years, which brings me to my latest pair, had a hard time finding the original Navy Blue, the only color they should be in my opinion! I purchased them and wore them maybe six times and the stitching started to pull through the sole on one shoe. I was told to fill out a refund and advised to order another pair being supplied with a voucher code which covered the cost, the problem was every color but no Navy Blue. Very disappointed I eventually will receive my money back. I write this for two reasons I have read of the same problem with other buyers of this shoe, which now makes me reluctant to buy Sperry shoes (is someone scrutinizing quality control) and one would think they should have plenty of the original Navy Blue in stock.
Fake Leather
I have been wearing sperry boat shoes for decades and love them however i just received a pair made of seacycle which is made of recycled plastic….. not leather. They are not very forthcoming about the new material. It is like wrapping your foot in plastic wrap. Super hot and sweaty!!! I will never buy another sperry product.
I love this company
I love this company, but one of the pairs of shoes came too narrow. I live in Europe and it was quite a hassle to ship them from the US but it was worth it. Looking forward to the spring collection. Hooray!
I realized after I purchased my boat…
I realized after I purchased my boat shoes that they were made in China. I looked and never saw that on the website. After some review I learned most shoes are made in China but for a small fee of 300% more or less depending on the shoe can are made in USA. I hope this is not deliberate. I want too buy USA made.
Nice but too narrow.
I ordered a pair of Sperry boat shoes, I received them in 4 days. I ordered a half size larger and wider than my usual size. They were narrow, really narrow which was too bad because they looked very well made.

Flip flops fading and peeling
I've bought a pair of flip flops from Sperry to use on the yachts that I captain because I always had in mind the quality and the boating friendly they are. After 3 days I found out that they were fading the brown, it was painted for my surprise. Terrible quality.
Can't even change the shipping address…
Can't even change the shipping address before the items ship! Never encounter something like this. I had the incorrect address, my parent's address, and it's in another state! The first rep from sperry told me to call Fedex and have my package be hold somewhere near me. Called Fedex and fedex said only shipper can make changes. The second rep from sperry told me to provide him/her Fedex onsite near me and I provided walgreen address. Said Fedex will send me confirmation. Receive nothing! I check constantly and my Fedex was farther and farther away. 3rd rep told me fedex will update the info once they have it at the onsite location, receive no update again! Finally, the item is about to be delivered and the 4th rep told me she is gonna call and see if she can stop the delivery and if not she'll email me. Again, no update!!! Imagine if it's a stranger's house. She said they cannot change the pickup location if it's in another state, then why did the previous Rep told me otherwise? Apprently, they're clueless! Finally I completed a return form and guess what? My sis said the label won't scan!! I don't want them to receive any of my hard earned money. Too bad they deducted $5 for shipping. We'll see if I receive my refund or not. Actually, let's see if I can even successfully return the package! I will not recommend their services to anyone.

Shoes are..27 days old....stitching is unraveling. Took the shoes back...receipt in hand....store rep says....you have to call Sperry and get permission to return the shoes..stores don't Warranty apparently. Sperry does. Then you submit photos, receipt.
Big inconvenience. Then you're waiting 2 or 3 weeks for the replacements to arrive.
Poor communication
Ordered shoes from sperry as I always buy these shoes. Never used this sight before and didn’t realise that shoe size was USA size. So I had to return them. I was going to return for larger size but was told that I had to pay £10 for return shipping. I sent back but will not order replacement due to shipping costs and slow delivery. And I won’t be ordering anything else from this company.
Company Screws Americans…
Husband purchased me a pair of duck boots for Christmas. I greatly dislike the boots. They won’t allow the return because he purchased on 11/11/22 and NOT after 11/21/22. The Canadian site allows returns for holiday purchases AFTER 10/15/22. Guess it pays to be Canadian as they screw the Americans. Hate the boots and will never wear and now stuck with them. WILL NEVER BUY SPERRY OR TELL ANYONE ELSE TO EITHER

Order hasn't shipped but can't cancel it because it has been "batched". Advised that it is a $5 return fee to return the shoe so If you change your mind (after reading the nightmare reviews about their service and products) you are apparently locked in. I can guarantee I will not do business with this company again after this experience.

Absolutely far below standard
Very very unreliable scammers !! Absolutely far below standard, better to say total failure; did not receive my ordered shoes after two months. And lost 73,- !!! They promised to refund 50 %, but even that did not happen. Unvelievable, poor show. Extremely bad company !
