My second son started Spark Tutoring in October and the change in his confidence after only a few sessions has been amazing. He now enjoys Biology and contributes in class which was the main aim in starting the sessions. But his overall behaviour has changed as well and he is now a more confident person in other aspects of school life. He is less of a class clown. His tutor has commented on how he now shows great leadership and maturity. Thank you so much to Dylan who has instilled this new found confidence.

Polite and informative introduction. Tuition itself is precise and detailed and provides you with a clearer knowledge of the subject covered.

My daughter Tanishka has been having lessons in maths and science with Sinni,
I have to say after an initial settling in period for both the tutor and Tanishka getting into a routine Tanishka is loving it.
Sinni is very helpful and helps Tanishka with any issues she has questions on at anytime .
Tanishka is very happy and doing well

Since my daughter has joined Sparks, she has increased in her own confidence and self belief when approaching maths. She is currently approaching her GCSE mocks and has said already that she feels more prepared and confident in her own ability. I feel a huge part of this is down to the careful and considered guidance and tutoring that Theeran from Sparks has given to her. Would highly recommend people to look at as an option.

Since joining Sparks, my daughter’s confidence and ability have grown so much. She absolutely loves her sessions with Evie, who has been an incredible support and makes the sessions fun. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

My daughter has grown in confidence in all 3 subjects she takes with Spark. Coming up to GCSE’s her sessions are invaluable for extra revision and guiding her through how to tackle past papers.

Great service by Charlotte to help my daughter feel more confident in her maths. We have used other tutoring services but my daughter feels this has been different and better communication style for her to understand.

My son has very little confidence in Maths and is very negative about his abilities. As soon as I heard my son with his Spark tutor I immediately relieved because he was so patient with him. His tutor took his time to explain everything slowly and even when my son didn’t understand he reassured him. I can see from the sessions he’s had so far his confidence is improving so much already.

I don’t like to write negative reviews. So I’ll simply write my experience. Tutors forgetting, cancelling, not showing up. It was stressful and expensive. Not worth it at all. By all means, try them. They just didn’t work for us. Even after begging for a 2nd chance and messing that up. I gave up.

Our tutor, Verity, at spark has been absolutely amazing. She has supported my children so well, she is always enthusiastic and my children love attending the online sessions. Thankyou so much!

Hi would just like share my daughter Ava experience since she has joined spark tutoring.
Ava is in her 1st year of secondary school & with her extra tuition with spark tutoring it has helped boost her confidence & she has been exceeding in her classes at secondary school collecting awards on a weekly basis for her outstanding work would just like to say we are grateful to spark tutoring input & especially to Agnes for her exceptional support.

I’ve been extremely happy with Spark Tutors. My daughter’s confidence in both maths and English has grown significantly. Communication between parents, child, and tutor is excellent, and they are always accommodating to each child’s individual needs. The tutors provide great support not only with learning but also with test and exam preparation. They understand how important it is for a pupil to connect with their tutor and work hard to ensure the best possible match.

Great experience and excellent tutoring. My son has learnt so much in the last year and you can see how his confidence has grown, especially going into school. His tutor is so patient and kind with him and he is now developing a love for reading which is so great to see. Thanks so much again, best thing we have set up for our son to help with his learning.

My son has been having lessons with Milo for a few months now and the progress has been really good.
Within minutes of starting the lessons he is engaged and thoroughly enjoys the weekly catch.
The lessons seem well planned and have covered a variety of topics.

My son does tutoring with Josh he looks forward to his weekly sessions ! Josh is fantastic with him and really encouraging ! my son is neurodivergent which i spoke about with sparks before i signed up & they was very helpful & couldn’t of picked a better tutor for my son! Thankyou again !

My son needed to re-sit his GCSE’s for a career passion. We were advised that this company would support him fully and even stated on their webpage that they’d increase by 1-2 grades.

I had a “discount code” that sadly wasn’t honoured and completely misleading in the wording/sharing of the discount code. When i noticed this hadn’t been honoured I was given the “not on the course you brought” lingo. I had to remind them of the legal aspect of miss selling and only then was they willing to honour some of the discount. Should’ve taken that as a sign of things to come!

My son took part in all lessons, one tutor was more interested in teaching than the other sadly. The tutor didn’t even ask him how his exams went, when the other did.

After getting the grades back, my son’s grades returned at the same grade. So the promise was empty and a huge waste of time for my son and a lot of money for me when I could’ve paid less with other tutors for face to face lessons.
Please do full research before parting with your money. The concept is a good idea, but in practice the promises are not met or honoured at all.

Disappointed is less than how we feel!

My son started maths with Aathavan at Spark a few months ago and my only regret is not starting sooner! He has been amazing with my son and is really helping with his confidence and gaining a better understanding in the subject. Aathavan has been incredibly understanding and supportive around my son’s autism and has made adjustments for him where needed to ensure he still gets the support even on days where he is struggling. Thank you!!!

My daughter who has currently started year 9 needed some additional help and support with her Maths. She was matched with her Maths tutor - Diya (who is fantastic with Amelia) and after only a few sessions Diya has already had such a positive impact on Amelia, already having significant impact on her self confidence, improving her knowledge in such a short space of time. This has also been noticed by her Mathematics teachers at school.
