Our daughter has received weekly tutoring from Emmanuella since April 2025. She is due to sit her GCSEs this summer and with the fantastic support, structure and encouragement from Emmanuella she has increased her maths and English grades by 2 grades. Our daughter has severe dyslexic tendencies and Emmanuella structures the sessions to ensure she has a better understanding of what is expected of her and how the smallest of changes can increase her marks on a paper. If she doesn’t understand something Emmanuella always finds a way to help her understand. She has so much patience and we would highly recommend Spark Tutoring to anyone no matter what their level.

Clara has been an excellent tutor for my son on the run up to his GCSE’s. She’s been engaging and made sure she’s helped him with the things he needed. He’s now 3/4 levels higher than he was prior to the tutoring.

The company on a whole is very well ran. Communication is excellent and you truly feel like they care.

I’ve been really impressed with Spark tutoring from the day one communication. My son starting tutoring September 2025 alternating weekly sessions for Maths and English.

Mike and Sadie have been fantastic, my son enjoys the sessions and I am pleased with the level of the communication they provide each week.

My son has just had his mock GCSE results back and has improved his Maths by one grade and his English language by two grades.

I’ve no doubt that Mike and Sadie are a big part of this, he feels more confident about his upcoming exams and I feel happy knowing we’ve given our son the best tools to reach his full potential.

The teaching is fantastic, and the lesson was great. The tutor knows her subject and was on point. My daughter was pleased with it. I can't complain. The only problem was the fee, which was a little bit expensive for me. I was no longer able to afford it. I wish I could.

My daughter started with sparks in September to get ready for her gcses the process from start to finish has been amazing her tutor Annabel is fantastic with her so much so that in her last round of Mocks in January she has double her math score by far the best decision we have made thank you

Our daughter has had weekly tutoring sessions with Sophie to support her with maths and science. She really enjoys her sessions and we were thrilled when she recently got moved up a set in maths. I'd definitely recommend Spark Tutoring to other parents with children in secondary school.

My son is in year 11 and needed coaching and mentoring through his single sciences for his GCSEs. It’s only been a few weeks but Zohaib is a great tutor, he provides clarity when looking at areas that need work. My son feels more confident already and this came through in Parents’ evening. My daughter has had support from Spark from GCSE into A Level. The tutors have been so good, not only backing up the school content, but also from a young person’s relatable viewpoint, they have offered a mentoring that I cannot bring as a parent. It has been truly brilliant - full disclosure, I have had some FOC sessions in this time but it is something worth the expense if you can manage it - - there is a fully supported scholarship program that they run to enable access to more students.

My 11-year-old has been having tutoring with Gabi from Spark Tutoring for a few months now, and I’m so glad we decided to do it. Every week he genuinely looks forward to his sessions with her, and his confidence has improved no end.
At our request, they alternate between maths and English each week, which has really helped him feel more confident going into his SATs later this year.
It’s also been perfect for our lifestyle. We travel a lot, and he’s been able to continue tutoring from Japan, France and Australia, with Gabi being incredibly flexible around time differences.

Joshua has been working with Spark Tutoring since the end of last year and we honestly couldn’t be happier. He has one session a week with his fantastic tutor, Adam, and the match has been spot on. Spark really took the time to pair Joshua with someone who fits his interests and personality, which has made such a difference. Adam is a young tutor Joshua genuinely looks up to, and that connection really shows in his engagement and confidence.

What I’ve also loved is how involved and attentive Spark Tutoring are as a company. They regularly check in to make sure everything is going well and that we’re happy with the support Joshua is receiving, which feels very reassuring as a parent.

Joshua is doing really well with his tutoring, feels more confident in his subjects, and we’re already seeing positive progress towards the GCSE grades he’s aiming for next year. We’re extremely happy with how things are going and would absolutely recommend Spark Tutoring.

I am very sorry write is review again, but I have again be charged again for tutoring my daughter hasn’t received - after I just made and enquiry and was advised id I paid £1 for a pack I would receive a discount if I signed up. Since I have now been charged again this month, after I was assured last month this matter had been sorted!

Spark tutoring have been fantastic and particularly Lois my daughters tutor. Lois has helped my daughter pass her GCSE maths and increased her mark by 20 marks! Without the support and motivation you gave her I don't think she would have to resat her maths. From a parents perspective Spark Tutoring have been very professional and all the communications have been very clear and prompt. Thank you again, I would recommend Spark tutoring to anyone who is looking for additional support for their child.

Spark tutoring was the best way for my son, he has adhd and autism and struggles in school so we set up the tutoring once a week at home and his confidence and behaviour changed for school he is now reaching targets and doing so well in school. His tutor Rory was so patient with my son and made learning more enjoyable for him so I would highly recommend spark if it’s something you want for your child and also a massive thank you to the spark team 😊

My daughter jointed Sparks Tutoring after she done her mocks maths exam. I knew maths wasn’t her strong point but the mocks results really exposed how much she was struggling. So I decided to get her some extra help. Being able to have tutoring at home, I think makes a difference for her. It’s been few months now since she started with Aathavan, I asked her do you think it is helping you, her only answer was “I’d be lost without him”. That’s enough to know that it has been worth getting her extra help for her. Any extra confidence is a plus and it’s only since she’s been working with Aathavan that she has had any kind of confidence with Maths.

Spark has transformed my son’s confidence and enjoyment of science. His tutor Davin brings every session to life using different techniques and even experiments that has been so engaging. My son now enjoys the subject and this is reflected in his grades. A big thanks to Davin and for the effort he puts in.
