I purchased a mens hat on 6/7/24. Nowhere in the website did it say it was shipping from Australia. In fact, they have a company addressed in Carlsbad, Ca. The product arrived on 6/24, after they indicate shipping times of 6/8 days. With Amazon leading the world in short delivery times, I would suggest that Solbari stock inventory in the US to compete with them. They show the "best sellers" on the site, so why not stock these popular items in the states to improve their customer service? The product itself is a good quality, and I'm happy with the purchase, but I think the pricing is slightly higher than what I would pay again.

I ordered three long sleeve T-shirts because they were a cotton blend. The women's t-shirts do not have a very flattering shape and the sleeves are too short. I also ordered a jacket type sweater with long sleeves. It does not have cotton and it is constantly very wrinkled. Also, the sleeves are too short

Ordered face mask to be able to hike while treating sun cancer. Received 2 days before treatment was over. Took forever to receive wore last two days and I couldn’t breath with the mask on. Contacted customer service, worst customer service ever dealt with! Expensive worst purchase don’t recommend

My shipment from Solbari has been delivered to a warehouse somewhere in Toronto according to the tracking # and has been there for 4 days now with no delivery update. I have called all delivery people concerned and no one is accepting responsibility due to no delivery company assigned for delivery from the warehouse to my home and of course I have sent 3 emails to Solbari with no response to date from them and they do not provide a phone number. So I am stuck not knowing how to get my package! Very poor customer service!

Horrible customer service. No phone number. Ordered items 9 days ago and still just says shipping label created. No response to two emails and no where to call. Spent a lot of money for these items for a trip and don’t have them and no idea when they will come. Shipping company is some unknown company I’ve never heard of. My fault for not searching company here first.

The website should specify that US orders are coming from Australia. The site states items should be received in 3-6 business days. Tracking info still states label created

Finally SPF 50 protection without the sensory issues that comes with sunscreen.

The sleeves are super convenient. I wear them on my trip to and from the office.

The cool fabric actually does cool you down on a hot day and even the white shirts are easy to clean.

After searching all over the world for some months for just the right product that would suit me I saw exactly what I wanted with Solbari, funnily enough an Australian company I’d actually passed over several times.
I bought my product and realised post checkout I hadn’t added my first buyers discount. Not thinking I’d get anywhere I emailed them …
AMAZINGLY not only did I receive a reply within the hour, I also received an instant credit of 10% discount to my credit card .
This is obviously a phenomenal business and I have no hesitation in recommending them 💯
I am yet to receive my purchase but I feel this transaction too, regardless of whether it is the right fit for me, will be handled with competence and politeness

Ordered two long sleeve tops and one arrived absolutely soaked through. Issued a refund and repurchased but waiting for the refund for the delivery as discussed. Will update once all sorted.

I’m furious about my recent purchase of a hat, a face mask, and poncho/cape.

The wide hat is a complete disaster – nothing like the picture. It’s ridiculously wide, poorly made, and lacks structure. The thin fabric is an eyesore, never falls well, making it painfully ugly.

The face mask is a joke – oversized to the point where it’s impossible to wear. It just falls off with a ridiculous 10cm of excess fabric, clearly not designed for human heads.

The poncho, while somewhat usable, is ruined by its thin, ugly fabric.

These items were outrageously expensive, and now I’m seriously questioning the legitimacy of their UV protection claims. To top it off, I couldn’t even return them due to delayed shipping, leaving me feeling downright robbed. This whole experience is beyond frustrating.

Poor returns policy claiming hygiene as a reason for not accepting a return on a product that doesn’t work. Then doesn’t publish reviews.

Customer service is terrible, no phone number to call. I want to mail return back through USPS as that is how it was mailed to me. Their portal uses DHL and there is no location near me at all. Never use this company. I do not like either hat I ordered. Now I have to contact Capital One and dispute this purchase.

Terrible customer service experience. Had an enquiry about replacing an item I lost.

Received a terse 2 line reply shutting me down with zero attempt to help.

Wish I'd read the reviews before using this awful company. Lesson learned.

Floral long sleeve Swimsuit UPF50+
Plus:
1. Excellent and prompt customer service
2. Easy to navigate website
3. First order took a little while to deliver but subsequent orders were quick.
4.I have bought a number of items from Solbari and I'm happy with it.

Minus:
1. I bought this swimsuit some months ago. I noted some negative reviews. I thought the problems had been resolved.
2. The fabric has some stretch but it's not similar to a regular swimsuit. I own 2 swimsuit from two suppliers.
3. The base, the trumpet is rather long. It forms a sag when worn. I'm quite sure this was highlighted by a customer. The sleeves are a bit long but it's OK.
4. When I got out of the swimming pool, I noted the removable bra cups have sifted and it had positioned itself just below the collar bones. This was pointed out by a customer/customers on Solbari 's website.
5. This is an expansive mistake. Solbari's products are not cheap.
6.The design of the swimsuit needs to be reviewed.

So there are 2 trust pilot sites here, one for Oz and one for UK even though it is the same company and they have no offices or warehouse in the UK.
So am putting my review on both!

SO FAR 2 STARS, will go down if not received asap and worse if the quality is bad or return difficult and costly.

Still waiting for my shipment!!
as I read in other reviews, it is clear it comes all the way from Australia ONLY at the last minute when paying!
My order has so far been more than the expected delivery times, and there is no sign of it.
It has been 7 days since the tracking shows : International transit (and there are many steps to come ...) Also the fact that 2 items (not that light) weighs 0.3 Kg makes me question the quality.

I am leaving for a long trip this Saturday (today is Thursday).
if it doesn´t come before that I will need someone here to send it back for me, which is a hassle already I really hope for your sake the return will go smoothly.
Big mistakes not to have looked at reviews here, looks like the reviews on their web are false or selective. Also the company doesn't answer any of the complaints here, it seems they are not interested or it´s just a scam!
I have sent several emails but no answer at all! this company should be flagged. If you think you will get away with this Solbari, think again...

I have to pay for shipping both for the arrival and the return.

You have to request the return, and they withhold, hoping you ask for a store credit instead.

Don't shop from here, there are way better stores that offer better quality products that aren't over priced. You have to pay for the returns and if you're exchanging an item that's on SALE, and the price increases back to original, they will not honour the sale price but will charge you extra for it. How are you supposed to know if you will like the item or if it will suit you. Passive aggressive customer service team as well.

It all began when I purchased two products (Everlight Coat with Pocket and Hood $218 and Luxe Hooded Long Full Zip Jacket $143). Both garments were well outside Solbari’s size charts on their website and had to be returned. Although I supplied photos to their customer service team showing the actual garment sizes with a tape measure they did not accept responsibility and refused to pay for the return shipping of approx $40NZ. I submitted fair reviews for both garments giving each a two star rating taking stars off for sizing, quality of garments (loose threads etc) and their refusal to cover the cost of returns even though the sizing was not as advertised, adding some areas where I felt they could improve in a constructive manner.

What disappoints the most however is that my reviews did not appear on their web site. It makes me wonder about the high star ratings on their site and if they can be relied on. While I believe Solbari have some good garments and products, consumers should be aware of potential issues when deciding whether to purchase or not. It is important when ordering online to be able to trust the sizing given in their charts.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Shipping and return policies are both deceptive. They advertise that orders will arrive in 6-8 business days - my order took 11 business days to arrive and was too late for me to utilize.

So I went to return it. They advertise full returns at the top of their return policy. Scroll down lower and they charge a “flat fee to ship your return.” To me, that’s not a full return. I am out the money that I spent to ship my item back (because your shipping times were a lie in the first place.)

Then, they ask for a product review. I left a one star review that is conveniently not displayed or reflected in the stars on the item I ordered.

I have eczema and bought one of their long sleeve t-shirt when my skin is sure from all the redness and scratching. It felt soothing on my skin and the quality of the fabric is soo nice. The would definitely buy more.
