I clearly requested an exchange for my gloves in a size large, not a refund. I even included a sticky note inside the package stating this, which couldn’t have been missed. Yet they refunded me anyway. When I followed up by email, I was completely ignored. But suddenly on Trustpilot, they’re responsive. Shopping here was a total waste of time. And when you rightfully express frustration over how you’re treated, they turn it around and accuse you of “cursing” just to justify ignoring you and refusing to help.
I told you from the start I wanted an exchange, not a refund. Don’t act like that wasn’t clear—you’re deliberately twisting things to avoid taking responsibility. Let this be a warning: once they get your money, they’re done helping. When they had every chance to fix the issue and get my correct size sent out, they didn’t. And now they’re blaming me instead of owning up to their mistake. I had every right to be irritated after their copy-paste replies and refusal to handle the issue properly. This is not a business that stands by its customers.

They are not an honest company. I have written two 1 star reviews on 2 hats I received which were terrible quality and the reviews were never published. I see now why all the hats have mainly 5 star reviews. Very dishonest!!

Wish I had read reviews. Just ordered and only when tracking realised this is being shipped from Australia! Going to be months. Emailed them to ask for them to stop the order to be told not possible they did answer my question asking why they don’t make clear it’s not a UK company and that it would take so long for delivery. Have now had email saying my package will be with me early March, let’s see?

I have been a customer of Solbari for YEARS. I use their UV umbrellas--literally--every single day, often subjecting them to extreme winds, and they last for a minimum of 2 years. Their hats are comfortable and offer great protection and I can also vouch for their arm sleeves and swim wear. Very high-quality products and lightning quick postage in Australia (I can see a few Americans are giving negative reviews about postage and a lack of a US customer phone line (?!), but, seeing as it is an Australian company, I'm just going to do my polite customer service face and leave the Aussies to draw their own conclusions). Complete value for money, I recommend Solbari to everyone.

I recently purchased the ‘Holiday Hat’ from Solbari, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. It arrived in just over a week and is exactly what I was looking for—a high-quality sun hat to protect my skin from sun damage at 52. The craftsmanship is excellent, and I love that it’s reversible, with straps that work on both sides. It’s also perfectly designed for travel, as it folds away neatly in my suitcase without losing its shape. Best of all, it offers fantastic sun protection—no sneaky rays will get past this hat! Highly recommended!

Very expensive for what it is. Typically expensive items come with good customer service. Unfortunately like many others here, I had a poor experience with Solbari, and they weren’t willing to do anything whatsoever to rectify it.
My experience with Coolibar’s customer service was far better.

The restocking charge for the single item a week later $10.00. Will never do business with Solbari again. No North American phone number only Australian. Attempted to use their chat. Wasn’t programmed to understand “Return info.”

I love my sensitive skin bamboo shirts from Solbari. I was hesitant to order at first since they are based in Australia but I’ve ordered twice now and have been super satisfied. My last order, I accidentally ordered the wrong item and their customer service was exceptional in processing the exchange. Thanks to Emma, I am a very happy customer.

Bought a wide brim hat early july to use on my camino de santiago.
Wore it many times during my hikes and practice rounds. So of course i washed it according to instructions by hand.
Unfortunately, after the second wash the stitches between the hat and the brim started to look scuffled which you won’t expect for such high priced item.
Reached out to the customer service with pictures and got a replacement which really shows the excellent customer service of Solbari.
I really enjoy the protection i get from this hat how easy you can change and fold the brim and mainly that i can even wear my hair out in a knot.
I will definitely buy another product.

Ordered three (3) hats. One arrived with a manufacturing defect. I contacted the company and sent a picture. It will cost me $26.95 USD to ship the hat back to get a replacement. Not a reputable company if they wont stand behind their products.

Should have read the reviews about delivery times before purchasing :(. It states 6-8 days for UK delivery but it’s been 6 days since shipping confirmation and my order is still in a warehouse in Australia. Won’t be here in time for my holiday.
Update: it arrived but only after I had left for my trip. Other than the lateness of delivery it is a light weight hat and feels like good quality. Will wait till next summer to wear it. I would still buy from here again but would leave extra time for delivery.

After a visit to the dermo, I went in search of sun protection for my and my husband's arms. (Driving in LA means lots of sun exposure!) The doctor recommended two sites (Solbari being one). I made a purchase for my husband because of the color choices. It was an easy process and there was a discount for first time purchases. Although the quality was lovely, when the sleeves arrived they were the wrong size.I wanted to exchange them for a size larger, but I had a bit of a challenge with the return and exchange process online, and Emma, in customer service, could not have been more helpful. She engaged in several emails with me until the issue was resolved and always made me feel valued and NOT like "one-more-thing-she-had-to-deal-with." I think you can tell so much about a company by their customer service staff. I will definitely shop on the Solbari site again.

The hat is OK, nothing special if I’m honest.
What’s not OK is that I ordered in the UK on a .uk website, paid in £ and delivery was specified as UK Royal Mail …
But the product was actually shipped from Australia.
What a total waste of energy for a single item. I would have thought it would be more carbon efficient to ship a carton load to the Kettering address or other distribution company and locally distribute individual hats from there.

Ordered Ultra Wide Cotton Linen Hat. Lovely quality and correct item sent. Just as prescribed. Deducted one star as the delivery time was pretty long coming from Australia but pleased to confirm that there were no taxes or customs to pay. Ordered on 24th June and arrived today 10th July. This was 17 days (13 business days) to Northern Ireland which was a little longer than the promised 6-10 business days. I was able to track my order throughout. I would feel comfortable ordering again! Thanks!

Horrible on their shipping. I placed my order on June 23, 2024 and paid express shipping (which is 4-6 days), it is now July 8th 2024 and still haven't received my two hats. If one is paying extra for this services, they should comply in giving the customers what they pay for. If I knew they were going to take this long, I should have just got the regular shipping. I did reach out to they're customer services and they said they usually ship 1-2 days after an order. That's not the customers problem. Like someone else also said, "should have just gotten it through Amazon". Never buying from this website again.
