SMAR responded to my request for a maintenance service to our solar system with speed. They also found the inverter was not producing & gave a quote for a replacement for a 3.6kw inverter. One point, SMAR supplied & fitted a 3kw inverter. The Engineers that attended were very polite & appeared to know their stuff. I would recommend.

Good communication prior to initial visit. Arrived on time, Gentleman explained clearly problems and offered solutions without any pressure.

The repair work re completed to program with no hassle. Every member of the team worked well together and knew what they were doing. Good to experience.

Solar Maintenance and Repairs provided a professional, informative and attentive service conducting a general survey and maintenance check on solar panels in a property I recently moved into. Having minimal knowledge of the solar panel system they took time to explain the features in a clear manner and gave a clear assessment of potential issues and potential actions for maintenance. I would definitely request their services again.

We had an appointment booked for 11am, however, the engineer (James) messaged me to say he was running late and was hoping to be with me for 12.30. He arrived at the revised time and once he had informed me of what de-commissioning the solar thermal system entailed he proceeded with the job. James carried out the work in good time and cleared all de-commissioned gear away leaving site clean and tidy. I received two follow up calls from James checking that everything was okay within the loft space, where a vent from the solar panel had been left to allow any glycol residue to evaporate off.

Efficient, on time or early, job well done. Good to find a man who knows what he is doing, unlike the sharks who installed the system at maximum profit to themselves.

Responded to my initial enquiry, gave a call to clarify and had a quick turn around time for appointment.

This was the only company that I could find who repair solar hot water panels. The service was excellent and James, the engineer quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. He came the next day to complete the job and service the system. We now have plenty of free hot water again from our 15 year old panels. Great service and a very efficient engineer. Not cheap, but well worth it. Definitetly use them again

Dom was able to fit me into a slot last minute to service my solar panels which I was very grateful for. Dom was professional, polite and friendly and explained clearly what he was doing and what this meant in the report. The price was reasonable and I would highly recommend this service.
It can be daunting having tradesmen in your home, particularly if you are vulnerable or in my situation, a lone female, however, I felt so at ease with Dom and trusted him. He was also clearly passionate about what he does.

After filling in an online form,I had a call back from a lovely lady who made an appointment for us a couple of days later.
The engineer arrived and was very professional
We are now waiting for a new inverter to be fitted which has been ordered by the company and will be fitted soon .

We are pleased with the product and installation and service in general, the fitters are friendly and knowledgeable and accommodating, communication in the most part is acceptable although I would add that keeping the customer in the Loop relating to supply issues would be helpful.
