Did not send out the order. Mucking around. Hopefully the refund wont be a problem. Fingers crosse. Not very confident about that going smoothly.

I bought a multipack of bamboo socks. The first pair I wore developed holes- on both socks- within a few hours of wearing them! Every pair I’ve worn since has had the same problem. The holes are in different places so I’m certain it’s a quality issue. They’re feel very soft and comfortable, but they’re not remotely durable. I’ve never had socks last so little time, a few hours is ridiculous.

I emailed customer services nearly a week ago for a refund and haven’t heard back.

Very poor service and product- I certainly won’t be buying from them again.

EDIT: I’ve just seen they did respond to my email- it went to spam. Even though I already sent photos of the socks and my order number, from the email address I made the order with… they’re asking for more photos and the original invoice. Just plain awkward.

Beware the Ladies Khaki Green Anti Blister Bamboo Hiking Socks for Summer!!!

I ordered a pair of Ladies Bamboo Hiking socks in Black/green and thought they were good and had no issues with them, so I ordered a second pair in Khaki Green. This second pair felt very different to the first pair and were also a lot thicker than the first pair. I used them once on a 5 mile hike and was very disappointed to discover my "wool" rash.

When I contacted customer service they were very unhelpful and said that these socks did not contain wool. I only get this rash with wool, so I know this is not correct. They were not interested at all even though I pointed out that this pair of socks did not meet the description on their website.

I understand that I cannot return socks when they have been worn from a hygiene point of view, but wouldn't they have been at least interested in receiving the pair back and checking them out, maybe even sending me a different pair as a good will gesture?

Needless to say, I am not impressed with their customer service and will not be buying anything else from them.

Unfortunately, I cannot upload a photo of my bright red itchy sore rash as Google keeps on giving me an error.

Dreadful they shrink unwearable

Bought some compression socks through Decathlon (Sock Snob is the third party) which lasted 3 runs before a hole appeared in the big toe. Decathlon were excellent in trying to get the problem resolved, but Sock Snob offered nowhere near the same level of service. They would not replace the socks and then after about 6 -weeks offered to refund me half the cost (presumably because only 1 sock had a hole in it!). I refused this and finally received a full refund. I will never use them again.

The socks I ordered stated the materials was cotton. When I received the item I found the product to be only 55% cotton. So I returned them. Only to find the refund was only partial. So I spent £11.98 including postage to receive a refund of only £8.99

So their poor description cost me money.

Terrible experience. Seller didn't know when the item would be arriving, refused to contact the shipper, explained that I should do that to get a delivery status. It's not my job, I'm the customer paying this company. Item was less than great, I returned and they only refunded me for the item, not the shipping of $5.99 that I paid and there response was that they "cannot offerfree returns outside of the UK due to customs regulations". Funny they can charge your card but not fully refund it??? Don't give them any more of your US dollars, it's not worth it.

Terrible experience. Ordered one pair as a test. I need a half dozen more for daily wear in sub-freezing weather, but it won’t be from this outfit. The snob as part of their name should have told me. But since I was taken by them, I hope this review will save others. Ordered 02/10/25, as of today, 02/24/25, I have no idea where my order is. Because of using the worst shipper on the planet, it cannot even be correctly tracked. For days the same thing came up “package left the carrier facility”. But each day, they just updated the date, but left the same message. In fact it still says the same thing today 02/24. I have never had a good experience with DHL, packages took forever, one lost package that they never even took the blame. I now must ask on everything I order, who will be the shipper, and cancel if it is DHL. Also the same thing can be purchased cheaper from other dealers, with free shipping over $25. It ends up saving about 1/3. So save your selves money and the shipping crapola, and buy elsewhere.

5 stars as always.. Customer service, prices & delivery excellent.

10/02/25 - Update. Still no contact from Sock Snob/Debenhams although both companies have said they would look into it on their comments. Just words, no action!

Main Review: Terrible, terrible terrible! For over a month I have been trying to get a refund from Sock Snob via Debenhams for an order I only received half of the socks from. They just don't want to know. Be warned they want your money but don't send you the goods. I am still waiting but to no avail!

Lovely long socks at the right time and the right price.

I received the wrong size. What kind of service is this?

Just what I was looking for. Not so easy to find pure cotton socks any more. Price was good, and delivery timely.
