Awesome analytics platform
Soccerment's analytics platform is probably the best public platform for advanced performance metrics and football analytics in general. The availability of metrics like pass-centric Expected Assist, Expected Threat, and innovative ones like xOVA and BDP really gives it an edge over other providers right now. The platform design and dataviz solutions are also top notch.

Good morning Rob and many thanks for your nice review!
We try our best to make our football analytics platform among the best ones around, as we keep adding new advanced metrics like the ones you mentioned. Some of them, like xOVA (Expected Offensive Value Added) and BDP (BuildUp Disruption Percentage) are only available in our platform, simply because... well, we invented them! Please stick around because in the next few weeks the platform will be enriched with additional advanced metrics that we are developing. We will ask for your feedback!
All the best,

Good morning Cormac,
Many thanks for your nice review. We try our best to keep improving analytics.soccerment.com and make it the best available football analytics platform. The raw data are from Opta (StatsPerform), but then we have our proprietary models to generate advanced metrics and performance indicators, apart from the data viz. Great to hear that you like the player comparison tool! Guess what's the most viewed comparison...: https://analytics.soccerment.com/en/stats/lionel-messi-1987-06-24/cristiano-ronaldo-1985-02-05 Not a surprise, right? 😅

Good morning Nicolò,
Many thanks for your nice review! As you pointed out, we try to make our football analytics platform being as simple and easy-to-use as possible to the users, although being quite in-depth and cutting-edge. One of the "tricks" is clearly to use a lot of data viz, which comes really helpful when comparing football players and teams and when one needs some contextualisation!
