Works as intended

I purchased the Slivor tool through an instagram ad and paid with PayPal. I see a lot of people never received their tool, I wonder if I only got mine because PayPal has purchase protection. I was able to track the order through the app and it arrived within 10 days. I didn't have nearly as much wax as people in the videos but there were some chunks in there that had been causing my ears to itch while I slept, I'm glad to have it out and I think it was totally worth it. I notice a lot of the reviews hint to "better products" with similar function which leads me to believe those reviews may have been written by their competitors.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company! I wasn’t sure if I would like the ear cleaner, but their website said “money back guarantee, no questions asked or hassle.” I didn’t end up liking it, so I asked for a refund. Cut to numerous back and forth emails where they kept asking me questions about how many times I’ve used it and telling me to try it again. FINALLY got them to say they would refund me after 10 emails, only for them to say I either can get 30% back or ship the item back at my expense to China, which would be more than the item is worth. Horrible experience. I will be disputing this with my bank.

Avoid. Something fishy going on.

This tool does not connect with the app. The app is extremely suspect. I wrote to say it does not connect and they reiterated the instructions and the app link. This time the app link took me to a new, even less professional Chinese developed app that looked even more like spyware than the last one. Ever since downloading and trying to connect to the first app my internet in my house does not work correctly. Very intermittent and slow. Yet it never connected to the device to actually work. Musings online that this might be malware or spyware are not impossible to dismiss. I worry it may be. To the extent that because I cannot just drain its battery, I've now deleted the app and put the device in a metal box until I do more research to figure out what is going on. I am certainly not going to download their 'new' app and try again. I've requested a refund. We will see what they say.

Your home WiFi issue is NOT caused by our app.
Here's why that's technically impossible:
Phone apps cannot affect WiFi routers or home internet connections. Apps run isolated on your phone, they have zero access to router hardware or network equipment. Your WiFi problems are coincidental timing, not related to our product.

How VisioEar actually works:
The device creates its own local WiFi signal (like wireless headphones or a GoPro). You temporarily connect your phone to view the camera feed. It operates completely separately from your home network and cannot interfere with it.

Regarding app security concerns:
Our app is available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Both platforms run extensive security screenings before allowing any app.
The app only requests camera permission to display the video feed.

Possible Scam?

I ordered my item 2 weeks ago and 1 all ago I stopped getting tracking updates. im hoping i didn't get scammed but im not looking my chances. if I have to go another week without any updates or receiving the package I will be getting a full refund. if they decide not to refund I'll dispute it through my bank. not good enough.

Misleading advertising, cheap materials, and clearly a generic rebranded product

This purchase was a major disappointment and feels nothing like the premium “engineered in the USA” product advertised.

What arrived was clearly a generic mass-produced gadget shipped directly from China, complete with a non-branded Chinese companion app (“AI See Pro”) whose privacy policy is hosted on a Chinese domain. The device itself is identical to numerous low-cost ear-camera tools sold online under different names.

The build quality is shockingly poor. The metal scoop at the end is made from very thin, soft metal (likely low-grade aluminium). After only occasional use — not heavy or frequent use — it bent under minimal pressure. Once bent, it rapidly weakened and eventually snapped off completely. A device intended to be inserted into the ear should not fail structurally like this.

The silicone tips are equally flimsy and feel disposable rather than durable. A properly engineered product would use stronger materials or a safer rigid design rather than parts that deform so easily.

The marketing implies a medical-grade or professional device, but in practice this behaves like a low-cost commodity product sold at a premium price.

Another major concern is the company’s claimed US identity. The listed address appears to be a virtual office/mail-forwarding location, there is no transparent information about leadership or operations, and the product ships from overseas. Nothing about the product, packaging, software, or fulfilment suggests US design or manufacture.

Given the widespread availability of nearly identical devices at much lower prices, this appears to be a private-label reseller rather than a developer or manufacturer.

Overall: poor durability, questionable origin claims, and nowhere near the quality implied by the advertising.

I would strongly recommend researching alternatives before purchasing.

No product received, horrible support

I ordered directly from the company and never received the package. The company will not do anything to help, they just keep pushing me off to the shipping company. The shipping company is completely unresponsive. I've been trying to resolve this for a month. They took my money and I have no product.

Totally get the frustration, but good news, you're actually doing it right!

The "connected but no internet" message is normal. The device creates its own WiFi just to stream the camera to your phone, it doesn't provide internet.
When your phone shows that warning, just tap "Keep Anyway" or "Stay Connected" and it'll work.

Same as the top rated product - but cheaper by c.£20

My son found the advert for the Slivor VisioEar, a tool which combines a tiny camera with a little tool for the removal of ear wax.

I was skeptical but as it was only £30, we thought we'd give it a go!

Delivery took a couple of weeks, via the all-too-common-these-days International flight, but this product is ace! Simple to set up, excellent little camera with great quality images shown on your mobile device. (Quality is of course dependent on your WiFi and device).

This is a game changer for us and hopefully will mean less microsuction sessions!

In my research I found a review site confirming the top 5 ear cleaning devices. This is not on the list, but it is the same as the top rated product but at least £20 cheaper. An easy choice in my opinion!

Give it a go!

Never Received Product

Never gave me an opportunity to leave delivery instructions. Package was stolen or never delivered. Customer service just tells you to deal with the shipping company who refuses to do anything. I'm tired of going back & forth. Never received what I paid for. I deal with a health condition while working full time. I don't have time/energy for this. What an absolute waste of my time & money.

Absolutely unimpressed

Absolutely unimpressed. This product does cause discomfort with use as directed. It did not deliver results as noted in other reviews. In attempting to convey concerns with Slivor Customer Support, they declined to honor their well-advertised 30-day money back guarantee and created new conditions and qualifiers with each communication. I strongly advise you to save your money. If you are curious about this product - don't be.

I ordered an ear cleaning device from Slivor on 28 November as a Christmas gift. The website and Facebook advert gave the impression of a local seller, but this turned out not to be the case.

The item was shipped using YunExpress (China) with Evri as last-mile courier. Tracking information was inconsistent, changed multiple times, and was accessible via the seller’s own tracking page, then Evri later confirmed that the parcel missed connection / was lost and was never delivered.

Despite contacting the seller several times, the issue was not resolved. I was repeatedly told to “wait” while automated emails continued to say the order was “about to ship,” even weeks after dispatch. The item never arrived and missed the purpose entirely as a Christmas gift.

I paid using Klarna Pay Later, reported the item as not received, and Klarna confirmed they were unable to get a proper response from the seller. The case is still under investigation.

After researching further, I found the same product available elsewhere for a fraction of the price, which makes the experience even more disappointing.

I strongly recommend being cautious. If you do buy, use a protected payment method and do not rely on the advertised impression of local shipping.

Comes as advertised

I will not lie I looked at the reviews after I made the purchase and these comments made me really nervous, so for anyone like me im here to alleviate some relief. It did take longer than expected and the tracking was weird (got several updates about it coming to ship, being shipped, about to ship, etc etc).

But the product arrived safely and as advertised. You do have to download an app and connect to the devices’ Bluetooth, but that’s about it. Works well; hard to see if you’re like me and have a lot of ear hair, but i get bad wax build up and I was able to use it to clean it out.

Only problem was that my right ear had hardened wax. Using the soft caps, it kept pushing it further in. I had to use the actual metal bit and remove the soft cap in order to remove it, so if you have hard wax be cautious. Or do as I did and flush your ear with warm water, then go in with the metal bit as that worked for me.

Absolute scam

Horrendous experience - ordered on 1 December, it’s now 20 December and it has never arrived. Got an email from them saying that there was a delivery exception and that it was being returned to sender - in China. It’s a massive scam, do not waste your time. All the social media advertising is deceptive. Avoid

What a totally crap experience DONT' BUY FROM SLIVOR

What a totally crap experience. I ordered one of these ear cleaners and heard nothing at all for ages. I then got an email notification that I was not available to take the delivery (I work from home and am there literally all the time). Then I heard nothing at all. A few weeks later I contacted SLIVOR to ask where my parcel was and they told me it had been delivered and provided a 'proof of delivery' photo showing an asian hand with pointy finger nails (I am not asian and don't have pointy finger nails) holding a parcel very clearly addressed to someone in Singapore. I am based in the UK. At that point they have effectively refused to have anything further to do with the matter in spite of the fact that the delivery company's contract is with them and not me and as I am not their customer, there is very little I can do for myself about this matter. From my point of view, it is clear that this parcel has NOT been delivered. There is no proof of delivery to me and I want a refund. They won't help. I would STRONGLY advise everyone to avoid using this company at all costs. They seem to be operating a scam and you will lose your money and not get your goods.

UPDATE:
It is a shame that it takes a bad review on Trustpilot to get any help at all from this company but following the above review, they got back to me very quickly with a whole different attitude. This time they have the correct name, address and country (having given me someone else's full postal address beforehand). However, I still don't have any proof of delivery which does not surprise me as I still do not have the parcel. The delivery description does not match the reality of my home so someone somewhere is not telling the truth. In the meantime I'm still without either a refund or the parcel I paid for. Watch this space I guess.

Worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with – refund guarantee is a lie!

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from Slivor. One of the ear cleaners they sent me was defective, and instead of honoring their 30-day money-back guarantee, they’ve turned the refund process into a nightmare.

They kept inventing new conditions that were never mentioned on their website. First, they asked for photos, then videos, then multiple days of “proof.” At one point they even demanded that I record a 15-minute video of the device being charged and me pressing the button. Who asks a customer to film themselves for 15 minutes straight just to get a refund on a faulty product?!
It’s clear they’re just stalling to avoid giving refunds.

Every time I provided what they asked, they came back with new excuses and more hoops to jump through. They still won’t even give me a return address.

After this experience, it’s obvious their “30-day money-back guarantee” is nothing more than a marketing trick.
I am now filing a chargeback with my bank.

Save yourself the frustration, money, and time. Avoid Slivor at all costs.

We always aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, but for hygiene-sensitive products like the VisioEar, we do need clear video documentation showing the device being fully charged and operated. This is required both for safety and to properly verify whether a unit is defective.

In your case, the videos we received only showed the device being unboxed, briefly plugged in, or the power button being pressed momentarily, but not a full charging cycle or a complete attempt to operate the unit. Because of this, we weren’t yet able to confirm whether the device was defective or just not fully charged/activated.

We completely understand your frustration and never intended to make the process feel difficult. Our goal was simply to gather the necessary evidence so we could resolve this correctly — whether that meant troubleshooting or approving a refund.
