Entices you with a free sign up, this just gets you on the website, where they instantly ask you to upgrade. You HAVE to upgrade to get anything accomplished, this site is nothing but a money-making machine for its creators, not startups.

I attended the first cohort of the Slidebean Intensive Financial Modelling Course, and it was the most helpful thing in figuring out the numbers side of my business.

The CEO, Caya, joined the live calls and built financial models in real-time, using the businesses of the cohort members. He answered our questions, gave us some pre-built templates and built a specific function for a participant. The follow-up sessions are also great in helping me stay in the game and making the most of the resources they have at Slidebean. The course is totally worth it for founders.

I tried Slidebean but chose to use another service instead. That should have been the end of it – but no. Since then, I have been bombarded with emails from them, despite never showing any interest after my first visit. I have blocked them multiple times, but they just keep sending new emails from new senders. It feels like they refuse to accept a no.

For a company to behave like this is extremely unprofessional and annoying. If they put this much effort into driving away potential customers with spam, I wonder how they treat their actual users. I'm glad I chose another service – and I strongly recommend that you do the same!

Slidebean produced a pitch deck that was fit for our purposes but expensive for what it was. However, more than a year later I have now been charged for a subscription that has magically appeared. This subscription was cancelled in 2023 after our business was concluded. I have contacted Slidebean with no response. Sadly, I am now out of pocket, spending time and effort on a matter that should not exist in the first place, yet here I am. Shame on you Slidebean.

First, working with Paula was a breeze; she's whip smart, very effective and creative. She got the brief immediately, iterated fast with a lot of requests.

Great course from a great team. Would recommend although good knowledge of mathematics seems to be a prerequisite to really benefit from it. Just my opinion.

The technology and logistics are great. So was my project manager, Paula! The designer was OK. I had to make a bunch of adjustments with the final editable file and even finish some of the revisions that were not done on the last round (2nd rd). That said, the deck is good for an expedited service. I would rate the whole experience about a B+

Pitch Deck Content Service Massively Overpriced

The design of the pitch deck was brilliant but the content service honestly wasn't worth the extra $1400. There were lots of grammatical/ spelling errors and I had to do most of the work myself. I would personally give it a fair value of $500 max.

I addressed my concerns directly to Caya and he simply dismissed them, offering a free revision round despite me telling him I was happy with the design, I just wasn't happy with how much I had to contribute to writing the content given what I'd spent. Won't be doing business with Slidebean again.

The course was easy to follow with clear lesson objectives and summary notes included.
Caya is very knowledgeable and brings practical experience to the course. If you need to plan your raise and your runway, expenses or hires, this is the course for you.
