It's the worst,everytime I book the meter is on €3.70 .Do I pay the minute the driver leaves their location? What is really going on? A short journey that we pay for 4 pounds with other taxis .Skyline u pay 7pounds.On top of that the driver will be going round and round not taking you Direct to your destination.

Worst taxi service, most cars are cheap old prius that smell horrible

This is the worst taxi service in the world with late drivers and unhelpful staff. They have not improved. They need to be put out of business because they take money and hike up prices for no reason. They gaslight you and make you feel insane, but it’s not normal for you to have pre booked a taxi for 6:45 (flight due to land at 6:20) then the driver arrives a whole hour later and instead of apologising he says - “your flight was 15 mins late”. Even if it was 15 mins late, why did the driver arrive a hour later than pick up time? Still got out of the terminals by 6:50, because I in fact booked the taxi 25 mins later than the flight was meant to arrive, so the driver was still just simply late!!!!! Terrible service, terrible drivers, TERRIBLE. Abhorrent.

Do not use! Always goes to the wrong place and always late. What is wrong with them?
Recently chased elderly mother who is disable who is picking up her young grandkids as they wanted to pay cash. Was not informed earlier they had to pay cash. Very rude and left the young children crying. Do they hire animals as drivers? Poor horrible service when tried to complain.

This company doesn’t even deserve one star review twice if not three times this year my children have been left stranded after work because the taxi driver could not be bothered to bring them home. One of my daughters got in the car and the taxi driver screamed at her to get out he was not driving, past Bletchley at midnight is the time my daughter finished work? What could you do? That’s why you ring a taxi and today My second child was told her taxi was cancelled because he was too busy to take her home from work again what our taxi drivers paid to do!! Ring the company they are rude they hang up the phone they don’t care at all absolutely disgrace Milton Keynes Council really needs to sort them out and get a company that’s more reliable and doesn’t kick people out of their car because they can’t be bothered to drive further than 5 miles Leaving innocent girls stranded in the streets in Bletchley all hours of the night disgusting

This is a completely unreliable taxi service that look to make money out of users

They offer a pre book function. But they happily allow drivers to accept anyone looking for a taxi - charging the original customer for trips.

They do not train or educate drivers on basics such as checking the passenger name, destination address or card details.

I pre ordered a taxi 45 minutes before departure. When I arrived to get in my taxi I saw on the app that it was already driving - and then completed a trip in a different location charging my account!

Their customer service is also untrained and highly unprofessional. They use a call centre where the people on the other side do not understand basic consumer law, let alone the local area to book the taxi correctly! As a “local taxi service” this results in very poor communication and service.

Skyline will also charge you if you cancel a taxi - despite miscommunication on driver arrival time. They often will say a driver is 1-3 minutes away and on 36 occasions the driver has been over 12 minutes away.

Please do not use this company if you are based in Milton Keynes. Uber and bolt apps are much more reliable, honest, trustworthy and safe.

Today skyline has openly allowed a random person to use my identity and my bank card to pay for their trip. Please be really careful - no one from head office, driver or their call centre assistance is trained in basic customer support or protection. They also would not book me a taxi in replacement either… so I took a black cab instead on this occasion.

I had used skyline for 15 years in Milton Keynes. I am really really sorry to say this will be the end of my account with them.
They have also not bothered to respond or contact me urgently regarding this - after issuing a Facebook business message about this scenario. It seems like they are happy to make money off allowing people to commit fraud and use customer accounts for trips!

Please do not use Skyline taxi. Thieves and tricky ones.

This App is built up to take payment after the completion because without completion it does not know the correct price of the journey on the meter. Any card payment before completion is not taken and is usually pending. Sometimes the App does not record the price of journey to take payment on completion or the card transaction is refused by bank , and in that scenario the app request the payment is made by secured link through SMS.. customer and drivers are confused by this process and fail to ask the office to explain properly and 👏 blame the company for fraudulent act.

Please do not use this company!
I have had the app for many years and booked it taxi and used card payment this auto takes the payments!! Never had issue in all years I've used it. Now the last two times I've booked the taxi many has argued that I have to pay through a link I have proven the money is pending on my bank and I will never pay a link from a taxi driver.
I had the company call me on both occasions and said they will cancel the pending and I have to pay the link.
What is the point in using the app then?
Why do they have an app to book and pay via card. Do not trust them or there drivers

I do not recommend, worst service, lying employees!! you can't trust them!!!

Last evening I had a really bad experience with skyline.
Being a regular user I have the app tried 3 times to book a journey but failed because no drivers would accept the fare.
Rang the office and booked and the driver went to the wrong place. Eventually arrived and the driver was not happy and constantly moaning about not realising where the fare was to. When we arrived he demanded cash I usually use the app and card payment so offered a card and felt like I was in the wrong and committing some fraud by offering to pay by card.
Very disappointed my family use skyline regularly but will be looking at alternatives from now on

I took a taxi into Northampton from a local hotel. When I got back home on the Sunday I checked my accounts and the cost of the trip had been charged four times leaving me nearly £60 out of pocket.
I rang up and was told to contact accounts during business hours, I called on Monday morning and was told to email my details. I have not had an acknowledgment or a response. I always try to give local companies my business rather than use big companies like Uber, what a mistake that was !

Booked a Taxi using the app and paid then the driver ring me and says he wants £15 more to do the pick up, this company needs to have its taxi license removed asap. license

Never trust can’t even understand simple instructions the call centre is in another country don’t understand addresses or speak English properly.phone gets put down use another company

Never trust Skyline. They seem to be just a broker for independent taxis. They let me down on the holiday pickup on a pre booked run and refused to come to the express pickup at Luton on return. We had five young children with us. On complaining was contacted by the rudest customer services woman ever. AVOID.

Advance booking for pick up from Milton Keynes bowl was a no-show. Waited over 2 hours til early hours of the morning before eventually getting a different taxi. Constantly phoned up but was hung up on several times and also kept being told ‘ten minutes’ and that they were busy. Yes it was busy that’s why we pre -booked. Putting women’s lives in danger.

Pre-booked taxi for Heathrow Airport T5 for 09.40am, driver rocked up at 10
00am after I called chasing where they are, tracker had him parked up for last 30 mins. After 2 chaser calls was told on his way. Journey to Heathrow uneventful apart from few occasions on M25 driver thought he was a boy racer. Return pre-booked taxi for 20 July 2024 home have had no pre-alert notification car would be waiting on my arrival. Prior to my departure sent several WhatsApp messages, all read no reply saying if have car or not.
On arrival into Heathrow called taxi operator, abruptly told me car will be there. Driver called me saying waiting, didn't sound very Customer Service friendly, just "I'm here to pick you up, I'm waiting" My office have corporate account with taxi company. You can guess my feedback to my procurement team. Not sure would use them for a supermarket run. Never use again

Booked a cab from Stamford, Lincs to Stansted airport. Pick up 06.45. We arrived at Luton airport at 08.30. I'd did ask the driver about this error. He became argumentative. We got to Stansted around 09.40. Just over an hour later at check in, Ib as told I was too late. I then booked and paid for a flight to Verona. In all I got to my destination Venice at 22.50. My flight to Verona was late taking off. This lead me to getting a taxi to Venice over 100 km away.

I paid my Skyline driver at the onset of our journey. When I booked my trip with him he told me the price.Its £ 120.00. I'll charge you £ 105. The drop off feels is an additional
£ 5. 00. In total at the beginning I gave him an envelope with £ 130.00. That is a £ 20.00 tip for awful service. This individual caused a domino effect, which caused me to get very late in arriving to Venice, my destination. Additionally such sub standard service caused me much more financially.

As a H.M. Forces veteran I'm very upset. I've been using Skyline and their previous firm for nearly 15 yrs.

Never was an apology or explanation offered to me. Nor was a refund offered to me.

This occured 20.06.24.

Being a veteran I am well linked to all sorts of folk. As such I would never recommend anyone to use this company.

9 July afternoon 3:15 pm right outside the school a Skyline Taxi took over the whole of the pavement, did not the driver once think how women would push their buggies across or how elderly would be to walk, how do these drivers get licenses 👎🏼 the Taxi number was AK17 VDZ I do have a picture of this event.

Used the online booking system and paid via Apple Pay but driver called and told me he was to far away and the taxi was cancelled when I rang to see what they was going to do as they have taken My money and now I have no taxi the lady was rude didn’t offer any help and hung up to phone will not be using this service again.
