Fantastic service to Edinburgh airport with Kevin

missed our connection at aberdeen to edinburgh due to the bus being late,first they blamed the weather then roadworks,both were not true,had to get a taxi as no other buses to edinburgh that time of night.coming home a week later bus from edinburgh airport,no help with luggage,i have diabetes and othe disabilities,people were scrambling to get onboard and could not get a seat together,i need my partner at all times to watch me,single people sitting with bags on there spare seats,not even offering you a seat,finally got a seat together after dundee,they shoul have seats for people like me reserved but you cant reserve seats.when we got home,told them about our experienceand they offered me £10 for what happened,taxi cost £330!,was not expecting them to pay it,just asked for a wee bit of compensation so felt insulted with there offer and told them to keep it,would i use them again,maybe on a shorter journey but they have many improvements to work on before i could give them more stars

Lovely buses that were bang on time today. Where they excelled though was with the whole team from the drivers to the customer services helping to get my phone back which I left on the bus between Dalwhinnie and Newtonmore. They couldn't have been more responsive and helpful.

Ember will charge you double the price for not picking in advance even though the bus you’re getting hasn’t turned up yet terrible company

We travelled to Inverness and back from Fort William and what a pleasurable experience. Such polite and welcoming drivers. Our first time on a bus whilst holidaying, but won't hesitate to book again.

Unreliable. People are giving this service good reviews due to its partial refund policy and the fact it's electric. In reality it is rarely on time and often cancels services. If your plans can cope with delay and/or last minute cancellations, then this is good value. If you appreciate arriving on time, this is not the company for you.

Much better than all the other bus services, and lovely clean coaches.

Lovely busses and always seem to be on time. The only thing I’d recommend is brining out weekly, monthly and yearly passes as it can be really expensive if need to use this service regularly :)

Travelled today with Ember from Newtonhill to Dundee return. Super driver, very helpful and pleasant to customers. We were lucky to get the same driver on the way back. We liked the very informative notications inside on the board giving timings, destination arrival times etc. That is so helpful. Last but not least these buses are so comfortable it’s a pleasure to travel with Ember.

First experience of Ember this weekend, amazing service, wonderful drivers and the buses are superb. Really a superior bus service for Scotland.
We were caught up in the traffic issues tonight on the A9 alongside having a flat tyre and our driver, Stephen Kyle was incredible.
We were so well looked after and we really felt passenger safety and well-being was the highest priority for Ember. Well done

First time on Ember for me. Although the service was late tracker allowed us to go to the bus stop at the right time. There was an incident on the bus but the driver Kevin dealt with it quickly.

Travelled on the 14.10 direct from Glasgow to Pitlochry. The journey was smooth and relaxing. The seats were very comfortable and the surroundings spotless. The wireless charging points work - not something that always happens with other bus companies - especially important when travelling all day. I have used Ember buses several times before and each time I have enjoyed the experience. My thanks to Rob, the driver, who was friendly, professional and courteous.

Our journey started off by a text message telling us they were running 10 minutes late which was fine and that's when it arrived with another apology from a very friendly driver. The Bus was very clean and comfy and we arrived at our destination on time.
We will be booking again soon. Thank you.

Arrived late at Buchanan bus station last evening having missed two buses. Needed to get to Broxden in Perth where our car was. Noticed an Ember bus to Inverness. It was departing approx 20.30. The driver Steve was so helpful and polite. We hadn’t booked but that was no problem there were plenty of seats. The relief was immense. We are a pair of oaps who love travelling by bus and did not fancy being stranded in Glasgow. The trip was very smooth and comfortable. Thank you

Genuinely the best bus company I have ever used. Drivers are friendly, they have a good route network and are honest and helpful. Their app is really good for tracking buses. They also refunded my ticket because there was a slight delay in departure time which was a really nice thing to do.

I can't fault ember buses. By far the best long distance coach/bus service in Scotland. So reasonably priced for a reliable and comfortable service. Toilets are always clean, seats are always comfy. They are on time or early more often a than any other service and will refund you if they are late, no hassle or trying to prove how late you were just refunded straight to your account. Honestly will never use another service to get around Scotland.

Took ember to Glasgow and back with bike today. Driver on 8.40 bus explained so well that road was blocked by an accident and we all had to transfer to train at Stirling. Because he explained so well none was angry. And on way back - Gary, a new driver was great fun, had everyone laughing and educated us about ostrich farming. Altogether a wonderful ember day AGAIN…. Thank you all so much

Admittedly, I missed the earlier bus from Elgin - by minutes. My fault! Resigned to the later bus which was delayed by more than 20 minutes. Due 20:45 Elgin Rail Station travelling to Aberdeen. Caught the bus. But the delay necessitated a visit to the loo. Buffeted in the toilet, I wondered if the bus had been in collision. It had not but persons of my own age e.g. 73 years, might have been discomfited. Absorbed in writing a review, I missed the designated stop. Stagecoach M96 alerts passengers of stops. Eventually, away from my iPhone, I recognised the surroundings. I questioned Oscar, the driver, and he said he’d waited at my designated stop but he’s not obliged to say anything. I wasn’t particularly happy but was about to leave the bus and walk the extra distance when an offensive word was heard. Trustpilot won’t approve printing the wordI declined to leave the bus and invited the passenger who slandered me to apologise. No apology was forthcoming. Indeed, one passenger asserted that others on the bus would agree with the comment. I asserted that was a matter for police and justice to decide - not a slanderous passenger.At that point, I invited Oscar, the driver, to summon Police Scotland. As a pensioner and law-abiding citizen, I’m not prepared to tolerate this infantile abuse. I may have made a mistake but I am by no means a person who might be likened unto the orifice by which one defecates. If Ember condones this type of abuse they do not deserve to serve the people of Scotland. The slanderer relented. He apologised twice and shook my hand twice. I left the bus. A horrendous Ember experience.
