I agree this is a terrible company to have to deal with.
I have had several free samples being promised but not delivered. It is impossible to any get response as to why the free samples are not delivered. I have today received another email from them saying they have a special offer on if I spend a certain amount I am entitled to a free sample. Please can you explain why these offers keep being sent if there is no intention to follow through. Surely this is tempting to to purchase under false pretences.

A terrible company to deal with.
They sell very expensive products but have appalling customer service and they advertise falsely.One spends a great deal of money and there is a promise of a free gift which hardly ever arrives at it always seems to be out of stock.
Customer service never reply to phone calls or emails.
THIS COMPANY DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS!
They clearly don’t value their customers .

Like another poster I also made an order THREE different times and got an empty box with a sample in it. No notification that order for retinol was cancelled and yet their website always shows it's in stock and allows the purchase (this happened all 3 times).

After chatting with them I learned the order was canceled because the product was out of stock yet they won't notify you the order is cancelled but they will charge you to send the sample and charger $6 for shipping. They have a D rating on BBB and I've had to file a dispute with my cc. Awful, awful customer service.

If I can give zero stars I would give it. I made an order and got an empty box with a simple in it. After calling them I learned the order was canceled because the product was out of stock. They have sent me a sample and charged me over $6 for shipping.

If I could have left 0 stars I would have. Returned a product 45 days ago and still no refund. Before that, it was a hassle to get ahold of them, emailed them finally 31 days after I purchased and then they gave me a really hard time as it was past 30 days.

I don't care how good their product may be, horrible company to do business with. Tons of other products who have better response and customer service. hopefully I will get my refund due to me.

I placed two orders, a week apart, both of which got cancelled by their billing department, with no explanation or notice. Someone was supposed to call me back. No one did, then they had the temerity of sending me "Tell us about your experience, we care what you think" email.

This is NOT a reflection on the product but a reflection on the service. The site offers a 10% discount for new customers. After completing the form for emails and discount, 4 days later the 10% still hadn’t materialised. I contacted customer service who basically told me I’d just have to wait. So I went to another company who’s customer service was first exemplary and got what I wanted with a better new customer discount and as I was spending £300 was the right decision!

The worst . Do not order from the website. Customer service is the worst . No one responds - no one has correct information . It’s like the wild the west. They just make stuff up and they can’t provide you with any details just wait and see. I ordered something feb 3 it shipped abs then it was sent back to the warehouse Bc of hazardous chemicals I called cs and the rude guy told me the only thing they could was cancel the order and refund . Ok I bought the items elsewhere. Now a month later still no refund and on chat they tell me can’t refund or cancel and they can try to cancel the reshipment but they have no guarantees and I still may receive the order and have to return it... of course and no one can tell me anything. But they have my 600 dollars ...

I ordered my product on 1/28/21, and have yet to receive a shipping notification. Tried to check the status of my order on the website with the order number provided via email, but the website did not recognize the order number. I called the cx service line, and they were able to pull my order number, but the only info they could see was that it was processing. I decided to call the next day to cancel if I didn’t receive a shipping notification by then. The next day rolls around, still no shipping information. Well, I call the line again to cancel, and I am informed that I can’t cancel as the order is processing, but I also can’t get any information about when my order is expected to ship. So, I am basically stuck. It would be one thing if I have an idea of when it should ship, but having no options to get help is incredibly frustrating.

They promote a free sample of the retinol for the past 5 days but don’t have any available to send you. False advertising?? I cancelled my order bc it says a lot about the company. You should give what you promised. If you ran out, remove the promotion!!!

Please, please do not buy from the ecommerce platform.

My package never arrived and I had to chase the company for an entire month to find out where it was. It was finally determined the package was back with them, and that a refund would be with me within 14 days. The refund never came and here I am, chasing away with zero response, and having to dispute the transaction with my bank. I may never get my money back.

I know these products are hyped on social media, but save yourself the money, time and stress and avoid. Most of the products have dupes.

Unethical. One of their cleansers broke me out in really small painful spots, which wasn't evident until I had been using it for several months. It happened so gradually, that couldn't identify what was causing my skin to react that way. One day I decided to switch to a simple drugstore cleanser, and my skin immediately got better the next day! They were less painful & then completely disappeared within days.
I left a review about it on their website which they deleted. I was curious about this, so I went onto a different website and saw the same feedback for that same cleanser.

Not even worth to give one rate, worst customer service in shipping and refunds.

hands down the worst customer service or rather lack there of. I ordered online with expected delivery of 3-5 days. two weeks later, multiple emails and zero response or communication at all. I eventually had a reply on instagram but no follow up action. I still have not received the items and its nearing on 3 weeks.

Infamous when it comes to alterating the formulas of products which customers love, particularly sunscreens (which are often discontinued, and replaced with altered ingredient makeup, usually less product itself but with the same or higher price point).

Any reviews on their website (ie. even moderately worded to the effect of "great product, not so the company for discontinuing much loved products") which are slightly less than glowing are moderated/deleted. So they definitely have thin skin, strictly adhere to an echo chamber environment, and refuse to listen to customers.

It's funny there's one review thread on the same website, relating to a recently discontinued product (a sunscreen). The general sentiment among three pages of reviews/feedback is "please bring it back". For about 1 or so, to 2 pages each one of those reviews has attracted one downvote. Have to wonder if the 'downvoter' is a staffmember of theirs, or somebody higher up (downvoting each review out of spite).

Best way to sum up the SkinCeuticals ethos, as said further up... embodiment of corporate greed, their lack of loyalty towards it's customer base is glaringly absolute.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT order directly from this company. Order from Dermstore or somewhere else. I should have listened to other reviewers. I have had MULTIPLE faulty charges on my card. They told me my $500 order was cancelled, then charged me TWO WEEKS after confirming the cancellation and overdrafting my account. Not to mention I had re-placed an order because the first one was cancelled (I thought.) So then I had to return that second one and after having UPS confirmation that Skinceuticals received my package 8 days ago, I’m JUST NOW getting a $300 charge on my card for this second order INSTEAD OF A REFUND. Customer service has no idea what they’re doing it’s insane. She can’t even see the charge and even had to ask if I used card or PayPal? Told me she has to reach out to the billing team and get back to me via email. Said she doesn’t know how long that will take. I mean honestly that’s what she said to me. I had to file a claim with my bank for the first $500 charge and now it’s looking like I will have to do the same with this second $300 order. This company is insanely behind on customer service. PLEASE do not shop directly from this company, take it from me.

I ordered phyto corrective gel from them, and it was a totally damaged one , when i received it, it was leaking. I contacted their customers service 5 times, and they claimed they will replace one for me, but i have been waited for month. When i call them, they say it haven't posted yet...
The most awful service I ever had

Worst website ever! I ordered some products but quickly cancelled them after an impulse buy. Contacted the team and they assured me it would be fine as I had cancelled within the time frame. I later received an email saying the product had already been shipped. I returned the items but received no refund. Made numerous calls but the people I spoke to repeatedly fobbed me off. I asked to speak to the manager (I would refer to the manager in the loosest term) who told me he would get back to me as soon as possible with an update. Quelle surprise, no phone call. In the end I had to contact my bank who refunded my money.
I would not trust this website or use skinceutical products again.

I ordered a CE Ferulic from their website ( VIT C product costing over
£120 ) and received a faulty product. The color of the serum is a clear orange tone showing that the oxidation of the VITC has already started. I reached out to their CS and provided proof with pictures but, they kept telling me that the color was normal! All the messages from CS were super condescending and insulting! I am not only left with a product that has already started to oxidise ( got it just last week ) but, an extremely sour experience with arrogant CS reps. I'll never purchase a product from this brand again. L'Oreal is so big that their CS thinks they can get away with committing fraud and mistreating customers.
