Steer clear, 1 star as the lowest i can give ! Left my house in a damaged state , promised to put right then stopped all communication, happy to supply videos, photos and correspondence from director, if you want your house trashed and you left with bills into the 1000's then this is the company for you! Will update if I ever get this resolved at this point not a professional company at all , also changed to AB renewables and now Retro renewables

SIMP Services provided prompt communication and helpful guidance regarding boiler installation and bathroom services. While Jess and the team were professional and supportive, the process surrounding ECO4 funding was disappointing, with unexpected costs arising late. Clarity early on about potential contributions would have been appreciated to avoid wasted time. Overall, mixed experience.

Have wasted soooo much time with this co. (now back trading as A&B. Renewables - they seem to have changed name so many times!!).
They had all my details, sent a surveyor out who drilled lots of holes inside & out - seemed OK to begin with, but almost 6 months later, despite multiple emails & calls even getting to speak to the MD I now cannot get any response at all & last email sent today actually came back as "blocked"!
Gutted, wish I'd gone elsewhere - but WHERE??! Simply atrocious that so many co.s seem to be able to get away with this - suppose we should just be grateful they didn't go ahead & wrecked our home with a rubbish installation. (check out online horror stories).

Utterly unacceptable experience. This company has shown also trading as AB renewable solutions, lack professionalism and accountability. Despite multiple assurances that someone would call me back, to resolve issues, their communication is non-existent.

To make matters worse, I submitted a formal complaint which they are contractually obligated—under their own complaints procedure—to acknowledge within 2 business days. It has been well beyond that timeframe, and I have received absolutely nothing. No acknowledgment, no update, no resolution.

This isn't just poor service, it’s a blatant disregard for customers and their own policies. If a company cannot even fulfill its basic duties — like returning a simple phone call or adhering to its own complaints process — how can any customer place trust in them to deliver on more critical matters?

I am left feeling ignored, undervalued, and completely dissatisfied. I am now forced to escalate this matter and will report the company to trading standards in the hope that someone within the company will finally take ownership and respond. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

I have completely let down by your company. Your company has put me into a position where I could be without heat this winter as my heating system is barely working. I completed an Eco 4 application with your company for over 12 months and you have new provided me with a further 4-6 weeks wait and still without any scope of completion.

You know that I am a vulnerable customer hence why I’m having this grant to begin with? you have had over year to process this order and now you still allowing me to wait longer going into a winter period.

I have been in contact with a different company for the same funding and they have advised there is no delay so I really don’t know what your company is doing. I have advised the other company that I have been waiting for over a year and they advised me that this wait was unbelievable. Your company have provided me with no end of excuses and delays and I really was very positive about the whole experience, but now you’ve left me looking elsewhere and putting myself into an unhealthy risk.

Completely ignored all correspondence from myself.

I have now started an application with the different company as I have to think about my health.

I am completely saddened by the let down and service received from your company. I provided 3 visits from your company into my home and broken promises. 14 months of my life I will never get back for waiting for nothing. Total disregard for people’s health.

I will be seeking further information regarding to my complaint and will take it further and also looking at the press to complain.

Simp services are dishonest trades people, they are incredibly convincing
preying on the venerable through promise of grant schemes.
They will steal all your information and not carry out the job.

Got in touch re ECO4 scheme. Applied on our behalf, a few months and two surveys later after they lost the first one,received an email stating all approved and looking for an installation date. Half an hour later, received a telephone call asking for £4000 contribution to the cost as funding didn’t cover it all. The whole idea of ECO4 funding was as we didn’t have the money. If we had known we would have never gone down this route with this company. Very disappointed as we have wasted months being led to believe all along this would be fully funded.

Fantastic service from Jess. I’m still finding it hard to believe how easy the process is. Every stage has been perfectly explained and processed. Thank you Jess and your colleagues

First class service from Jess, she has been great at having to chase my surgery for information. If only she worked for them. it would installed by now.

My experience with SIMP Services was very good from start to finish, the contractors worked extremely hard, were polite and friendly with a big thanks to James and Mark who fitted the combi boiler and Steve and workmates who carried out the internal insulation works. I can't recommend them enough.

Jessica Bartlett has been superb. She is very professional but also has helped to guide me through this process. She is to be thoroughly recommended.

Kerry has kept us updated and helped us out with the paperwork. She is a credit to the company.
Jake who carried out the survey was a nice young man. And very professional the way he went about his work.
