They strung me along for a day and a half saying someone was coming but noone did.

Total scam, so wished we had looked into this more before googling emergency plumbers following a leak.
This account is linked to several others AZ plumbing services, Noventra plumbing who we had to make a bank transfer to and UBR plumbing service who sent the invoice.
Charged £2518 for callout, tracing leak to back of boiler, cutting hole in kitchen ceiling and replacing a pipe and isolator switch.
Plumber wouldn't leave until bank transfer made and wanted to see photographic proof which I declined.
Rogue traders and trading standards informed, police informed and bank.. please do not trust any of the aforementioned companies, although I suspect the just keep disolving and opening under new trading names. Account which we transferred money to had only opened in July.
Feeling foolish but difficult lesson learned.

AVOID! This company massively overcharges customers, uses pressure tactics to force payments from vulnerable people and sub-contracts to companies that claim VAT when they are not VAT registered, which is illegal.

It also claims to have been established for 73 years in when it was registered with Companies House in April 2026.

They charged my 81 year old mother more than £1,150 to replace a toilet cistern. The charge included £279 + 20% VAT for a £40 part (retail price, not trade) and £689 + 20% VAT for three hours of labour. They made her pay the charge there and then, leaving her upset and stressed.

I left this review on Google reviews - but it wasn’t published (possibly because it didn’t sing the company’s praises and a five star) -
“Did a sterling job. Would recommend if you don’t mind paying north of £500/hour”.
My warning to everybody (and I’m quite shocked) is pay little heed to Google reviews.

Don't use these scammers. Tried the fixed my boiler then told that it cannot be fixed and need a new boiler. Called a reallable plumber and he found a dial missing which switched over from hot water to heating and he found it underneath some floor boards. Will only accept bank transfers without no invoice. Please stay away.

We recently had our old water heater replaced, and the whole process was handled brilliantly. The plumber explained the available options, completed the installation efficiently, and left the work area spotless. The new system is working perfectly, and I appreciate the attention to detail and excellent customer service.

Friend of mine needed an isolition valve replacing on her toilet, the part in question costs £3.00 and 15 mins work

They turned up and quoted just over £400. they didn't even know where the stop tap was,

Obviously she refused and sent them on their way

I am reporting this company to trading standards.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Booking the appointment was simple, communication was excellent, and the plumber arrived on time. They replaced our faulty bathroom tap and checked the rest of the plumbing to make sure everything was working properly. The quality of workmanship was outstanding, and everything has been perfect since.

Be warned. You will be intimidated and they don't care making you feel intimidated

SHOCKING, CHARGED £250 TO UNBLOCK DRAINS AT OUR RENTAL PROPERTY, PAID IN ADVANCE OVER THE PHONE, THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD ALSO SEND CCTV FOOTAGE OF THE DRAINS, WHICH HAS NOT BEEN SENT, TENANT STILL COMPLAINING THAT THE DRAINS ARE BLOCKED, HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THEM BUT THEY ARE NOT ANSWERING OR RETURNING CALLS. HAVE NOW RAISED A CHARGE BACK WITH MY BANK.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! 2 weeks ago they charged a vulnerable elderly gentleman in the Stoke-o-Trent area £228 for a cold water outside tap. The price given over the phone was £48, then when he came he stated £170. This is 3 times the average cost. I said NO! but I had to leave and, unfortunately, my friend went ahead with a resulting cost of £218. Explanation.. the £48 was just the call out charge. My friend now has to have another plumber in to re-install the tap as George the Plumber did it completely wrong. I am absolutely disgusted with the tactics and shoddy work.

Had to go to the bank machine twice as price kept increasing and then wanted me to go again for another £56 ! Refused and he left I told him it was far too expensive and just kept looking at him and then he left ,don't touch this company with a barge pole !

I had a very disappointing experience from start to finish. I was charged a £48 call-out fee just to receive a quote, despite explaining the issue in detail over the phone, including that the toilet would need to be removed to access the concealed cistern. No estimate could be provided beforehand.

I was told an engineer would arrive within 30–60 minutes, but they didn't arrive for over two hours. Communication was extremely difficult as the engineer spoke very little English, making it hard to understand what was happening or ask questions.

After assessing the job, I was quoted nearly £700, including almost £500 simply to remove and refit the toilet—a job I've had completed before for around £100. The call-out fee was then added on top, and it had even increased from the £48 I was originally quoted to £49.

To make matters worse, I was immediately presented with an invoice for the full amount as though the work had already been completed, and I felt pressured to pay the engineer on the spot before he would leave. After querying the incorrect invoice, I was promised a call back but never received one.

The whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable, under pressure and lacking confidence in the company. Based on my experience, I would think very carefully before using their services.

I say engineer but I have no idea on the guy I mets credentials and honestly I have felt really anxious, uncomfortable and on edge the whole time and I am now only worse off as I owe money for the call out fee.

From reading the other reviews I would say that this company are scammers.

We had an emergency with a burst pipe early in the morning, and this company responded much faster than I expected. The engineer was polite, knowledgeable, and worked efficiently to stop the leak and repair the damaged pipe. The pricing was fair, there were no hidden charges, and the whole experience was stress-free. Highly recommended.

Called them for faulty ball valve. It was not an emergency but I called them in the evening because they were open. They were quick to respond and mentioned that call out fees at that time was £58/- which I was okay with. Person comes within 40 minutes, checks and gives a quote for £500/-!. Because I had enquired with some friends( who called plumbers in their area) earlier, I was told that the maximum cost would come to £150 incl callout and labor and material ( ball valve is £20). So I refused to get the work done and they charged me £164 for just call out and investigation!!. Next day, called another person, narrated this story and they were shocked to hear the rates. The good samaritan came over and got it done in 10 minutes as all it needed was unscrewing the old valve and putting on the new one. And I was so surprised when they charged me only £50. I wanted to give them more but they refused. Just wanted to leave this review here so that nobody else makes a costly mistake like me.Also, want to add that I checked google reviews and they only had 5 star reviews. I tried to post a review but it didn’t get published citing vague reasons. Guess they only publish the good reviews.

Really happy with the service. I had a leak under my kitchen sink and they came out the same day. The plumber was friendly, explained what was wrong, fixed it quickly, and left everything clean afterwards. Couldn't ask for more.

I called yesterday around, the guy did turn up around 30min, but tearfully quotation and bad attitude and no patient at all, I paid the call out fee and let him go, he asked for extra access fee, which is stupid, cos I already know where is the leaking point, no need him to show me. Horrible service, I don't know how the five star review on google, but I should check Trustpilot before I call them. I should give Zero star!

Wish I'd read the reviews first! Sadly had to get work done urgently on a Saturday for guests. Charged an eye-watering amount of around £500 to reattach a plastic loo waste pipe - 20 minutes, no parts needed. You live and learn. AVOID!
