Great customer service from Daisy when I had forgotten to change the delivery address on the gift subscription after my grandson moved house. Quick and friendly response, and she even offered to send a replacement if he had missed an issue during the move (which he hadn’t). Apart from that, the magazines turn up regularly, as expected from any subscription service.

Daisy in the customer service group worked hard to solve my custom issues with sending magazines from U.K. to Sweden. She followed up by asking me to reply to her when everything finally was solved. This is what is call customer service, not just helping but also securing a satisfied customer!!

My order was lost by my national postal service who could only tell me to contact the sender.

Upon calling Kelsey the first time I was instantly ignored and they hung up.
When I called for a second time the woman who I was speaking with was only able to tell me it is not their responsibility, nor will they contact the postal service.

After going back and forth with her for 5 minutes I was transferred to the manager with an long sigh from the customerservice lady.
The manager (Steph) was actually able to help me after talking to me a lot more open minded than her colleague. Now I am awaiting the package that was resent and the refund of my customs clearances.

With that said I would not recommend any subscription, which I planned on getting for a monthy boxing magazine. Hopefully I will receiving the older issues that I really wanted to read (+ some that I ordered a month in advance for my nephew's birthday which will be late) and ordered so I never have to order here again.

Thank you Steph and please find more people like her instead of the two I spoke before her.

Very poor service and quality. I would avoid at all costs.

I subscribed to a 12 month Stationary engine package on the understanding it would "arrive within 5-10 working days"; their words, not mine. Almost a month later and no sign of my first issue. I phoned up twice and got two different stories with contradictory information. Order now cancelled and have decided to finish with the magazine following Kelsey's decision to remove it from certain shops.

Terrible customer service. I wanted to cancel they told me I cannot as I’m subscribed up to a renewal date. Told them ok fine please cancel it thereafter do not take any more money. They then still take the money. Same day log a request via their chat for a refund. They say they answer within 3 working days. 7 days later no response. Call them up and explain the situation. They then blame me for the money being taken because no note was put on the system. So it is my fault because they did not put a note in the system. Oh and it is my fault because I did not get the name of the person I spoke to at the time. Not my fault their staff do not put notes on the system. Had to push to tell them I’ll get my Bank involved before they finally agree for a refund. Buyer beware. Not not subscribe to this outfit they will not want to give your money back.

I used to buy subscription deals for carpoligy through carpoligy and they were great. Good service and great deals. Then it changed to Kelsey media! First off I didn't have a subscription at the time they took over. But they still took money out my bank. Then I recently took out a subscription through carpoligy which went through Kelsey media. Where do I start, misleading, misinformed, terrible attitude and customer service. Stay clear.

Worst experience ever would not recommend if you dont want a headache

Having a subscription for Platinum magazine previously with DC Thomson this was transferred to Kelsey group and I was told they would contact re. a continuation. I never received such correspondence and after two e mails to them clearly cancelling this subscription I received confirmation on 13 May that this was accepted a payment was taken from my bank without permission on 7 June and I complained. On 9 June I received a letter from them dated 1 June thanking me for my support. I am taking this matter further and consider their whole organisation a shambles. Avoid the like them at all costs.

I subscribe to the claycraft magazine, for starters the magazine is brilliant I really look forward to each issue ( in particular Dougs Diary and the follow along projects)

But also the customer service when you call up or email is really helpful! I spoke to a woman called Annie I think.
I had a problem where I needed to change my address and had missed my previous issues.
they have said they will send the missed issue out for me.
Very pleased!

feel i was tricked into an annual subsciption

when asking the "support" about this you get fobbed off and janet even states "its your own prerogative" when trying to resolve the issue

first time ive re-subbed to carpology since they took over and certainly wont make the same mistake again

avoid at all costs, really not worth the hassle anymore

after 8 days of waiting i contacted Kelsey to be told the subscription had been cancelled, after around 20 mins of waiting another person came along to tell me the opposite. useless

then i was told the my first issue wouldnt be until the 5th of May, a month after placing the order! nowhere is this stated on the site. not only that my "free gift" wouldnt be sent untill after my first issue.

none of this in the "welcome" email non of this on the website

Kelsey is going to destory another good magazine with these tactics.

I went to Kelsey media to try and get a subscription for magazine Ships Monthly. We live in Canada and had a problem entering information with the link. I contacted the Customer Service department representative Kelly Stanford who went out of her way to solve the problem and was willing to even phone me to talk to me in person. The startup date for the first issue was supposed to be March however she asked since it was the first day of the February issue came out did, I want it sent to me which I did as the subscription was a birthday surprize for my husband.
Also, when the magazine arrived promptly, I realized I had forgotten to add our postal code to it. Once again, I contacted Kelly and told her my problem and once again, she resolved it both promptly and with great kindness in dealing with me. In between the start of my dealing with Kelly and the last with email to her regarding postal code, Kelly has been understanding, kind, patient, and gone way beyond the usual customer service from any other business I have dealt with both in Canada and beyond. I have nothing but great things to say about Kelly and Kelsey Media is lucky to have someone so professional and courteous representing the company. Some other customer service people in other companies have made me feel old and stupid however Kelly never made me feel any of those emotions. Thank you, Kelly, for everything. If there was a star system for Kelly alone, I would do a 5 out of 5 plus a bonus star.
I look forward to receiving our other issues in the coming months and possible other subscriptions with Kelsey Media in the future.

Kelsey having bought out carpology I went to this publisher to buy my usual annual gift subscription.

Selected 'one-off' payment as usual.
Turns out it had auto enrolled me onto a perpetual subscription as well despite no messaging or receipt.

Literal scam tactics as I can not see any way to clear payment details from thier site and am pretty certain I did not authorise them to retain them in the first place!

They make the renew button easily acessible but no button to cancel the subscription.

Highly recommend avoiding.

I wish I had read the reviews before ordering a gift for my brother from this company. I have yet to receive my items which isn't the end of the world, considering all the Royal Mail strikes. What bothers me is how customer service talks down to you like you're an idiot! They want my money but can't be bothered beyond that. They have lost a customer, and I will tell everyone I know to stay clear!

In control of many car related events and magazines, they are only interested in your money and once they have it they could not care less

Ordered 3 bookazines online and they arrived within the specified time (5-10 working days - actually 5, but included a weekend). Only gave them 4*s as they didn't email me when the goods had been dispatched and tell me who the carrier was and the level of service used by the carrier. I need to know this to ensure I am in when the goods are delivered. (Sent by Royal Mail 48hr service).

I had an item sent to me in error which happens in these busy times but it was professionally resolved and nothing was too much trouble.
In particular a lady called Kelly Stanford was brilliant throughout.
The go to excuse right now is COVID or supply chain issues but this was never mentioned.

I took out a 2 year subscription to Car Mechanics magazine but it's been cancelled after 1 year and they want more money to re-subscribe. I've been buying this magazine for over 30 year, but I won't be anymore.

After reading afew reviews on here I was sceptical about getting my subscription but I am happy I did. Magazine here every week and customer service is excellent.

I have used these guys for a few different subscriptions over the last couple of years and find them really easy to deal with.
Easy to contact (they answer the phone !! honest)
They are warm and pleasant.
They usually have some sort of a deal they can do that saves you money which is great!
The only people I buy magazines from now.
