Royal Mail lost my Rail Express magazine in February. I rang the Kelsey Media team, and the advisor was friendly and helpful, and organised a replacement copy, which arrived safely the following week.

Leaving a review on behalf of my dad, who has read, received and enjoyed Ship Monthly magazine for years. Unfortunately my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and it’s now at a stage where we’ve decided unfortunately it was time to cancel the subscription, this is something we didn’t really want to do. Upon trying to find out how best to do this I emailed asking and explaining the situation and the response I received was nothing short of understanding and helpful, so a big thank you to Charlotte for advising and reassuring me. I highly recommend, not only from this experience but as a whole, publication always received and on time and dad throughly enjoyed reading it.

Ordered an item in December. It never arrived (if it was ever sent). Replacement sent, it was the wrong title. Endless promises to send another copy of the correct item (it never arrived) and to refund money (had to put in a claim via PayPal). Save yourself the hassle and don't order from them. See other negative reviews - they all tell a similar story.

On 11 January 2026 I placed an order for three back-issues of a magazine published by Kelsey Media. I received an e-mail confirmation together with an order number. Within a few days I received one magazine plus an invoice which made no reference to the other magazines ordered, and quoted a different order number. I e-mailed the subscriptions department. No reply. A few days later I e-mailed customer services. No reply. I then e-mailed a member of the management team, who I expected would take some immediate action. He replied, but nothing happened. Today, 17 days after placing the order, I am still waiting for my two magazine. Kelsey Media are incompetent, dysfunctional, and don't seem to realise that when a customer gives them some money they have an obligation to provide what was ordered in a timely manner.

Buying up decent quality publications and turning them into generic click bait type cheap rubbish i am a comper and see them buying loads of once really good magazines and ruining them horrible company i now just avoid any links that are owned by this company

I would give no review if possible. I took out a subscription a few years ago. Little did I know a permanent subscription was set-up.

Access to the digital copies of the magazine is difficult to navigate. Be really careful and aware of what you are spending your money on.

I emailed them at the start of the week, although a ticket was created no-one got back to me.

I've just cancelled the subscription over the phone but they need 10 days notice to cancel so I've paid for this year.

I am very angry about it. I don't want another customer to get caught out like me.

Would have given a negative star rating if it was available. I ordered a couple of special edition Magazines at the beginning of November which I have not received and so I have emailed several times and not had a single reply. Since emailing hasn't enabled me to sort things out I have tried ringing several times but nobody ever answers the phone. So i suppose i will have to put it down to experience and avoid purchasing from the company at all costs

This is an absolutely rubbish company that has unfortunately taken over some good publications. It doesn't take any notice of its own unsubscribe system and doesn't answer emails. I am bombarded with far too frequent emails. I don't want to totally unsubscribe from them or mark them as spam; I do want to receive emails from one publication.

Bought the Great Outdoors magazine as a Christmas present for a relative in December 2024.

Rang to cancel, told no refund and magazine will be sent for another 12 months even though we don't want it

We bought This England Country Magazine copies for our family each year after my husband’s grandfather had done so for many years before he passed away. This year, after the title was bought by Kelsey Media, the calendar is just a wirebound set of stock photos on cheap paper with a calendar that could have been printed from excel. The description of the calendar reads in such a way that loyal customers would believe they were getting the same calendar, delivered in a gifting envelope as before, but this is a rubbish ripoff version with no gift envelope included.

spent £60 received nothing - still trying to resolve with the admin team who just ask for my address and then do nothing

Ordered a magazine on 24th Oct still not got it. Have been fobed off, now it's in post, not holding my breath. Won't use again.

Paid for an order I never received - they are also ignoring emails and help tickets raised. Scam company.

Terrible customer service. Had an issue with my renewal and have sent several emails but all they do is ignore people. Won’t be using for future subscriptions.

Avoid - order Carpology with a welcome package for nigh on £60. Nothing showed up and dispite numerous emails the issue is not resolved. They cleared are very disorganised and could not care less

We bought tickets for japfesr at Goodwood and (my mistake) instead of .com for email address I've put .coma to receive tickets. I've called for 2 days, no answer when they eventually answered "oh yeah we are looking through emails now" 3 day's later we are going to the event only with the receipt and no tickets. Rubbish service, the woman on the phone was in a huge rush, appalling service👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I wouldn’t give one star if I had the option.
Very long story short I bought a magazine subscription as their was a magazine I was in with a horse and would have liked a copy so subscribed for 6 months to get more copies too.
I emailed as order hadn’t arrived and was told I need to wait until the subscription amount was taken the following month. Fine, I waited 2 weeks. They told me the order was dispatched as had to chase this up as heard nothing of when the order would arrive. Was told they have to wait 2 weeks until they can replace if it’s still not delivered. I emailed when it hit 2 weeks as no order! They ignored me. Emailed and asked for a refund, they ignored me so I emailed again and got a very blunt reply off Sonia. She didn’t acknowledge me at all and said I will have a refund in up to 2 weeks time, I think a company can refund you much quicker than this when they’ve had your money for over 3 weeks at this point. Have been emailing since asking for an update on my refund and this to be expedited and no response from anyone at all. Shocking customer service, never received my good and the company still has my money. Safe to say I’ve cancelled my subscription and opened up a report with my bank. Don’t recommend this company one bit if you want your magazine.

Rubbish company, don't answer the phone or email, no customer service at all, avoid at all costs.

I subscribe to many magazines. Most arrive just before the magazines are due in the shops, some actually several days before. Uncut (which is a magazine I've subscribed to for many years) used to arrive 3-4 days before it was in the shops. Since Kelsey took over publishing Uncut, it never arrives early and usually arrives late, sometimes very late. There is just no point in remaining a subscriber sadly. I have asked Kelsey to cancel my subscription and it seems that they haven't even managed to do this properly.
