Terrible Quality Tools!
I'm really not sure how this company has such a good reputation. They are useless and their tools are the worst quality I've ever seen.
Tool 1 - File belt sander - lasted a few days before the bearings in the track went.
Tool 2 - Cordless jigsaw - They sent a drill instead. When I finally got the jigsaw, they sent it without a battery. When I finally got the battery, the blade guide was defective and dangerous. Returned for a replacement. They sent out another wrong item. When I finally got another replacement jigsaw. This one was also defective, the blade wouldn't fit in it.
Tool 3 - Cordless reciprocating saw - Underwhelming performance, barely fit for purpose. Blade release hits against body and doesn't work. Blade cannot be removed sometimes.
Overall. I'd be better off with Chinese knockoffs.
I'll never under any circumstances be going near these terrible tools and I would strongly recommend anyone else to do the same.

Absolutely fantastic customer service
Absolutely fantastic customer service. Conveniently I live near Evolution’s HQ so after making arrangements I popped in so they could have a look at a fault on my 10 month old saw (it has has quite a lot of use). I had the pleasure of meeting some of the team and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They resolved the issue and even made me a coffee while I waited.
Really lovely people, great company and I’ll definitely be purchasing more Evolution tools in the future 🙂

Repair of Rage 5S
My Rage 5S had never cut perfectly from the day I received it, particularly 45 deg cuts. As a novice table saw user I assumed it was my technique so I persevered. After a considerable period of time having wasted one too many bits of wood I decided to contact them. They handled the enquiry perfectly, without hesitation they said it was a warranty repair, organizing a pick up twice due to my stupidity.
If I am being nit picky the only thing they could have done better was send an empty box, after all who keeps the original packaging!! Finding a box big enough and strong enough for the table saw was astonishingly difficult.
After inspecting the machine they concluded it had been damaged during transportation and suggested replacing the machine. The inspection of the machine was really quick and as was their decision to replace it all without any prompting or pushing.
Who could ask for more!

I recently bought a R255DCT concrete…
I recently bought a R255DCT concrete cutter, I’ve only had petrol cutters before but due to multiple breakdowns & servicing issues I thought I’d try an electric one,
It’s a lot easier plug in and off you go. The electric ones are also a lot quieter & you don’t need to leave it running between cuts also when you’ve finished cutting the blade stops spinning almost immediately so not damaging the floor or blade putting it down
The wheeled under carriage is a very initiated attachment making it easier to cut a straight line along the floor without any strain to the user and also keeps the blade off the ground when putting it down.
Cutting block is also easier as the machine is lighter and well balanced, cuts concrete like a hot knife through butter very impressive.
The Evolution concrete cutters are cheaper than the conventional petrol cutters the only draw back they have is you need an electrical supply quite close, but as some cars now have a 3pin plug socket this maybe no longer an issue?
The customer services are amazingly quick at responding & sorting any issues, a true asset of the company the customer service agent I spoke to “Isabelle” sorted the issue I had very quickly and painlessly no drama or trauma at all VERY IMPRESSIVE SERVICE.

Gazebo - Ordered one day and received the good very next day. I had an issue with teh gazebo cover in that it had some wear and wondered if it would be waterproof still, contacted customer service and received a very prompt reply and resolution to my issue. Excellent service. Product is very sturdy.

I recently had the pleasure of ordering the Combi Mitre/Table saw from Evolution Power Tools, and despite a hiccup with the courier damaging the unit during delivery, my experience with Evolution has been nothing short of outstanding!
When I reached out to Evolution support after receiving the damaged saw, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an almost immediate response from the lovely Michelle. She was incredibly understanding and empathetic, assuring me that they would resolve the issue swiftly and to my satisfaction. True to her word, the very next day, the unit was collected and taken back into stock for inspection.
The following day, I received another call from Evolution, and to my delight, they offered me a slightly better unit for the same price! What a fantastic gesture of goodwill. Not only that, but they even arranged for the new unit to be delivered free of charge on a Saturday, which was so convenient.
Now, I have my new Mitre Saw up and running, and I must say, it's absolutely fabulous! The performance is even better than I expected, and I am thrilled to begin using it for all the various projects I have lined up.
Evolution's approach to handling this situation is truly commendable. They exemplify what good old-fashioned customer service from a British company should be. Issues can occur from time to time, especially with careless couriers mishandling packages, but Evolution took it upon themselves to make things right, and that's what sets them apart.
As my dad used to say, "it's far better to deliver incredible customer service than to have to explain later why you didn't." I am confident that Evolution embraces this mantra, and it shows in the way they treat their customers.
I can't express my gratitude enough to Evolution, especially to Barry (CEO), Michelle, and David, who took care of my issue so brilliantly. The entire team deserves applause, confetti, balloons, and even champagne for their dedication to customer satisfaction.
On top of the exceptional customer service, the tools themselves are awesome! I'm already a devoted fan and a customer for life. In fact, I've got my eye on a couple more tools from Evolution that I plan to purchase soon.

I repair machines to make my living. The fast delivery from Evolution parts department makes my life so easy and keeps my customers happy.
Upon receiving parts that I required to repair a machine I found that they did not fit the model I was repairing.
After a couple of emails together with photos, Lauren from the customer service team soon recognised the problem and dispatched the revised parts.

What is wrong with this company
What is wrong with this company? I added a Saw to my basket to purchase once I had confirmation of the availability of blades, I contacted the company twice with no response.
I then got a message saying I had overlooked my basket and not checked out, they offered a code with a 10% discount.
I went right to the basket and tried to use the code to check out, it did not work!
I contacted customer service several times and have not had any reply, they just do not seem interested.
I have left the item in the basket but I hesitate to go further when offered a discount code that does not work and getting no response from them.
One has to wonder if a company that treats a pre sale customer like this the negative views here must reflect the lack of interest post sale.
Evolution - if you are so confident about your products show us, reply to customer enquiries and questions - Yes reviews in the positive are good for a company but negative, although an opportunity for you to "make things right" and help, will do a great deal of damage to you.
How about responding, I would like to know why so many messages to you from me have gone without any support or help?

Brilliant customer service! I have both the rage 5s table saw and r255sms mitre saw and their responsiveness is second to none. The quality of the tools is exceptional at such a price point, but their customer service is just the icing on the cake. I just wanted to clarify something on my mitre saw and they responded almost immediately and have resolved my query fully within the day! Genuinely great customer we service!

Top Notch 5 Star Customer Service
I had approx one month left of the three year warranty evolution place on their Table-saws, I see that as “we have faith in our product for three years" unfortunately the stand that folds up for storage purposes or folds out to give you a working table had failed, I don’t know if my tables stand had an inherent fault such as an internal fracture that made a corner weak but it eventually started to bend to an acute angle whereby I couldn’t store the table upright.
Note: I think there should be a brace diagonally to strengthen this area and I personally will be implementing this on the new table evolution has given me.
As part of sending the table back, I had noticed a crack in the table top that was covered by a blanking plate and I wasn’t 100% sure the spindle wasn’t out of alignment. Evolution kindly offered to check that out and fortunately the blade and spindle were ok, they replaced the table top and a plastic guard that had broken off. I may be wrong on this but I think the new table top was the table that came with the RAGE5-S and I think they are slightly different to the table tops on the R255PTS which as far as I could tell was actually an upgrade to my table. Unfortunately the repaired table still had a few niggles that I won’t bore you with here but the main niggle was I couldn’t set the blade up correctly.
After a few discussions with customer services, we came to an agreement that a replacement would be a faster and cheaper option long term. I was happy with this and Nick (great guy), couriered the replacement to me and collected the old table. Had a nice chat with nick before he left. Remember the cigarette packet, white T-Shirt dude lol!
So replacement is delivered and Nick has gone, What I did not expect was to have a full blown RAGE5-S as a replacement to my Rage R255PTS, I was blown away and a very happy customer. This was a very generous gesture by Evolutions Customer Service and I am very grateful for that.
I have tweaked the table a bit now, Nick had built it for me, all I needed to do was I tweak the blade setup to get it hair width accurate and a few minor personal choice adjustments and I am back in business doing great jobs for my customers.
Evolutions Customer Service has been great and I sincerely appreciate the extra mile they have gone to to get me back up and running, so, a big shout out Sarah, Ruth, David and Nick for helping me bring this to a happy conclusion.

When replacing the blade on my R255 SMS
When replacing the blade on my Evolution R255 SMS I managed to lose what I now know is the inner flange, dont ask me how I managed that. I contacted Evolution and spoke to Danielle who quickly identified the part I needed, which was brilliant from the description I gave, its the bit that goes on the inside of the blade where the bolt goes through. She confirmed the part was in stock and would be with me in 2-3 days. When I asked the cost she added that on this occasion the part would be supplied foc which I thought was a brilliant jesture on the companys behalf.
