I have ordered several times from Evolution and every time the goods have arrived in perfect condition. it only took one quick call to sort out a slight postage issue as I had clicked collect by mistake, less than an hour later items on the way and tracking number given. will be buying more from this company

I cannot praise customer service enough!
I have been using my mitre saw on a regular basis for two years, at 85 years old my eyesight is not great and I relies on the laser for accuracy. Last week my light went out - literally!
Oh well, I though, I have had it two years and used it a lot - but I really cannot afford to replace it right now.
So I phoned customer service - and they were amazing! They arranged for it to be collected the following day, they replaced the lazer - AND FITTED A NEW BLADE for free.
It arrived back today, having been away for less than a week.
I cannot praise them enough!

Excellent customer service
My mitre saw developed a fault - the blade slowed and there was a burning smell. The machine was just over two years old so well within warranty. Not being technically minded I hadn't a clue what the problem was. But Evolution customer services were brilliant. An initial phone call and exchange of emails + pix tried to diagnose the problem as a possible consumable. When it was confirmed that brushes weren't responsible arrangements were made for collection next day with a promise of early return. There was an email update and the saw came back in full working order just two or three days after my first contact with Evolution. Excellent outcome that provides loads of confidence in the company's products and after-sale service.

I had a warranty claim with my mitre saw, the whole process was seamless and I was well informed throughout. The saw was collected and returned sharply. The customer service was great far excelling other tool companies I’ve dealt with. I would highly recommend.

Great value products, exemplary customer service
I'm sorry and surprised to read negative customer reviews here, as they're at odds with my own experience. I do think there's a problem with the service Evolution is receiving from DHL, and I can understand people's frustration with that, but I've been lucky enough for the good points to far outweigh the bad. That is, I bought their cheapest mitre saw, and it was so good that when a friend borrowed it, I bought another just so I wouldn't be without despite only being a DIYer. I then had a difficulty, which meant returning the 2nd machine during the warranty period, and I received exemplary customer service from Lauren via email. She was prompt, tenacious, on the ball, a pleasure to deal with and a credit to the company. Thank you

Customer Service is Astounding
I've bought a number of power tools over recent months and though I've had my order confirmations I haven't seen the invoices which I need for my business. I'm chuffed with the equipment by the way - Table Saw and vacuum cleaner (which starts up when I fire the saw up) along with some other bits and bobs. I didn't have time to call today to request the invoices so I tried their chat feature expecting to get a bot. I forgot to check for a response, but the next time I looked, I'd had a response.
I sent my request at 16:40, I'd had a response by 16:42 from Michelle P, saying they'd be on their way and another at 16:45 saying I should have them.
There they were sitting in my inbox - fantastic service.

Exceptional service
My Rage 5 S lost a spring off the frame. This made the saw less safe to use. I couldnt find a part number anywhere so contacted Evolution customer services. Sarah, was very professional and forwarded me an email with a parts breakdown. The part i needed was not listed but Sarah got me a replacement and sent it out for free. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well done.

I bought a 255mm Sliding mitre saw…
I bought a 255mm Sliding mitre saw 2 years and 2 months ago, it's only been used lightly on DIY projects, at the weekend I stopped working. As it's out of warranty and I am Chartered Engineer I took it apart to find out what was wrong, turns out it is a quality issue and a wire with on the stator not being adequatley protected and was contacting the rotor. The initial response from customer services was poor and they didn't seem to have read the summary of the issue I sent them. After further correspondance and raising the issue on Trust pilot Evolution carried out a management review of my case and have now supplied a replacement for the damaged part FOC.

My warranty claim on a sliding mitre…
My warranty claim on a sliding mitre saw, in it's third year of use, was handled efficiently by friendly staff who communications were clear and unambiguous. The machine was collected by Evolution and returned fully repaired within 5 days. The whole experience was painless and very impressive.

Very poor overall tools and support. (As half of reviewers agree)
1. Apparently you can't order any part that is not in stock, I was told to just keep checking online? Very poor that you can't get parts you need or even put on back order.
2. I ordered 2 x parts including a zero tolerance plate, that were both "In Stock", "Buy with confidence" on "next day" delivery, so far so good.
Got order confirmation and a "DPD" tracking number.
Checked DPD tracking via the link on the website order page...Tracking number does not exist!
Next day DHL (not DPD) delivered a package..great! Or not so great, as it only contains 1 of the 2 items ordered, no Zero tolerance plate?
Emailed Evolution, to be told sorry, an email should have been sent on 21st Dec. (the day I ordered) and "The plate is currently out of stock until later in in January,". I was offered a refund or wait for it to be shipped later. I decided (maybe foolishly) to accept a later delivery, as the part is essential to me.
However, I checked again on Evolution's web shop, and the plate was still showing as "in stock", so I informed them of this, but my comment was not acknowledged, and this part is still showing as "in stock" today as I write this review.
So they are clearly and knowingly lying or intentionally misleading customers as to items being "in stock". This is NOT acceptable! It is now 8 days after I ordered, and they obviously knew that the item was NOT in stock then, and yet they still have it on sale and shown as in stock today. Shocking practice!
Having now read the reviews on here, I am not surprised by their lack of honesty or commitment to provide appropriate customer service I have experienced, or the poor quality of tools. (The rage5s should have been supplied with the optional £30 zero tolerance plate as standard), as the standard plastic plate is not fit for purpose.
Overall, the rage5s table saw is poor quality, poor performance table saw, equivalent to cheap Chinese tools, (which is probably where they originate?)
And the after sales/customer service is very poor.
I would not recommend Evolution power tools if you want quality items and any kind of reasonable after sales support.

I have ordered 4 tools so far for metal fabrication. All of them work as advertised good quality even better price than the competition. Sure you can find tools with more features on them like on there magdrills but there price is unmatched. There new miter metal chop saw is what I am more excited about totally unique. I hope they can keep innovating like that. Customer service is excellent also

Poor quality and poor customer service
I have just purchased 5 tools and 5 batteries over the last 2 months and the service has been good until now. The drill gun I purchased less than 2 months ago has stoped working and started to smoke and heat up when I was using it. The smell from the drill was disgusting. I called the customer service team and was asked what the serial number was. Gave them the info and was informed that's not one of there serial numbers but was informed not to worry could I give them some other info and they would find the details. They got all my details and was informed that they will now pass the info over to another team and they will be in touch to arrange an uplift. Today I got an email asking me to send a picture of the drill. Nothing about sorry we will get it sorted asap or replace it because it is less than 2 months old. Now I'm having second thoughts about all the tools I have purchased, customer service is shocking. My advice is think twice before you purchase any tools. One look at how long the drill lasted and two the customer service. Think twice? Bye the way i purchased everything direct, I was asked that question as well ???

Have purchased several Evolution power…
Have purchased several Evolution power tools in the past but never direct. Ordered a zero clearance plate for my Rage 5S which duly arrived very quickly however, on opening the packaging I found the plate was badly chipped. I contacted customer services twice, including photos and I've never had a response other than, what appears to be an automated, how can we help you.

Absolutely SHOCKING service
Absolutely SHOCKING service.
Ordered nearly £400 of tools with 48 hour delivery.
Passed to DHL and have had nothing but issues - nearly 6 days since ordering and have failed to deliver 5 times - don't expect great customer service!
Now requested a refund and will go and buy an alternative - but will no doubt be a delay in the refund.

David - here is the factual update:
My contract is with Evolution Power Tools not DHL.
I have chased continually and daily after YOUR chosen carrier has failed to deliver on 5 separate occasions - told yourselves that it was refused, told yourselves it is being delivered on 5 separate occasions and then told you that it had been delivered.
As factually stated - 5 days of non deliveries by YOUR chosen carrier and now a refund period of 5 days.
Regardless who the carrier is my and all customers contracts are with you until the receipt of goods.

Fantastic customer service. My order arrived and there was a small amount of damage that may have been caused during transit.
Within an hour of me emailing customer services, I received a reply and a replacement was sent out to me.
