Quality dubious Service POOR
Bought saw at end of week delivered - started to put together Saturday... The Youtube video is great to be fair... Anyhow, you build it upside down...
Turned it over and found part of the table top was skewed... THEN found a bolt was unsecured and THEN found the damned thing had been fitted with a bent and twisted top plate... I emailed and now 2-working days later still heard nothing...
Customer service non-existent - I should have read the Trustpilot reviews first... Buy German next time

I purchased a Mag42 drill which was a good price and on arrival seemed a good easy to use tool however within a few hours of usage the rack and pinion mechanism disintegrated and I had to replace at my own cost. So two observations, one, they are made of poor quality materials and two the warranty is none existent, it will be a long time before I wander from Makita power tools again.

Evolution Power Tools are probably the most inept and frustrating company I have ever dealt with.
Their website promises next-day delivery and confirms the day when you order, yet 2 days later it's still sitting as 'unfulfilled' on their website.
I call customer service who just seem confused, they then promise to call back and don't. You call again and another operative is also confused and then tells me it will be arriving in 2 days time, this is 3 days after it should have arrived.
Get a note from UPS it will be delivered 30/11, I make sure someone will be in and guess what they just send an accessory, not the main order, they think that will arrive tomorrow, but not sure as it's still not been passed over to UPS as its sat in their warehouse.
So we are days after the agreed delivery date and still have no idea if it will arrive, they did try to blame UPS, but when they haven't even given it to UPS this doesn't wash.
I have absolutely no idea if their products are any good and even if they are I won't buy direct from them again.
Warranty fraud
I bought the most expensive table saw i could afford nearly 400 pounds it broke just 7 months later I tried to claim on the warranty but they refused because the blade looked (warn) they then told me I must of bever changed the blade and that this isn't covered under warranty. I have infact replaced the blades religiously because I need clean cuts and minimum brake out
Worst part they could tell all those just from a photo of the blade apparently the gears broke.
Excellent customer care
My power wash lance jammed on the high pressure setting meaning I couldn't dispense the foaming detergent using the low pressure setting. Bearing in mind the washer was two years old and out of warranty, when I contacted Evolution for advice they replaced the lance free of charge within a day. I genuinely was willing to pay for the part and postage and was delighted to receive real customer care

What a ripp off company. I purchased a used C stock saw .It was faulty and I returned it within a week.
This ripp off company is refusing the refund because it is used. It a used C grade saw when I purchased it in a first place. Why is this ripp off UK 🇬🇧 company allowed to trade

Mitre saw stand is rubbish. Saw doesn't sit level, lifts up at front when saw pushed back, clamps at front Don't hold it firmly at all. Buy another make, which are about same price.
Worst brand I have ever come across
Worst brand I have ever come across. Bought a circular saw, it has the worst build quality I have ever seen. First the Arbor lock got stuck so I had use some time to remove it. Then I inserted a 40teeth blade with the same measurements as required and used the machine. The blade wouldn't spin and now it is completely stuck and I the Arbor lock nut is not budging using the Alan key. I never come across a product with this many problems. Ridiculous
POOR COMPANY
I purchased an evolution table saw, parts were missing on assembly. After several calls to their support line i eventually got them. I registered online to activate the extended warranty. After 12 months the table insert plate cracked then snapped. I called the support line and was 1st told it was covered by the warranty but none in stock, the lady then told me to ring back in a month or so! A week later i called and guess what they were in stock! Now im told i need to send photos of snapped plate! I do this and the reply comes back it is my fault a “kickback” has caused this! They are doing anything to avoid honering the warranty! This part is only £6 (and not made very well). So if they avoid sending this they definitely are not going to guarantee any other parts. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

What a pile of poo this company is, ordered a product to be delivered on a Monday and now waited 3 days for it to arrive, they use UPS, which are also a pile of poo. urge people not to buy anything from these cowboys.
good design, bad service
I bought a magnetic drill Evolution Mag42. I was happy with the design of the drill and so with most of the function. But there was a bad manufactured part what made the drill unusable for heavy work. I sent the drill to the customer support twice. The second time pointing out the issue with pictures. But the warranty claim was refused and I got back the drill without any repair. Now I have to buy another drill from a reputable brand. Wouldn't recommend the Evolution brand.
Actually it's a shame. The engineers did obviously a good job when designing the machine. But production quality made in asia ruins all the good efforts.

I ordered several products from this company and was assured that I would have them next day. Unfortunately I will not be getting them any time soon because UPS have sent my parcel somewhere else after confirming the delivery for the next day. I will not be dealing with Evolution power tools again as when I phoned to complain, their attitude was, that they weren't interested and I should have it tomorrow.
That doesn't help me get the job out that was promised to my customer. I would advise others to shop elsewhere or a different product as their customer service is well beyond a joke.

I have 3 Miter compound saws from Evolution for my business.
2 x 110v for cutting blind slats and wood frames
1 x 240v small miter saw for cutting face head rails ( small work )
unfortunately I had my 110v Rage 3 stolen from my van. I replaced it with a new 255mm 110V Miter saw that was returned the same day of purchase.
The new saw was nothing like the older versions. Had no real power with the soft start taking ages to spool up. Cutting power was terrible so much so it drew more amps and tripped my RCD constantly as it struggled to cut " BASS WOOD SLATS 3mm thick x 10!
what a let down.. I did try to call Evolution to talk about the matter so I could return to buying from them. But clearly that was a waste of time with out the serial number of the saw I returned.. so I have gone out and bought a Branded Tool from Bosch.
What was a good company in the early days I am not now brand loyal as I was. Such a shame.

A waste of time and money. …
This is the second R255SMS circular saw with the same problem so I spoke to technical support the first person fobbed me off with resitting the blade and the second made out that he couldn't hear me on the phone, waste of time and money.
Highly recomended.
I have had my Rage 3s for over 11 years. It is probably one of the most reliable tools I have ever brought. I did manage to break it through user stupidity a few months ago. I rang up the UK based customer service, they were nice and friendly. The identified the part I needed in a few minutes and then got the order placed for me. It was completely painless. Not only do the tools just work but so did the customer service.
Terrible Customer Service if Product is Faulty
Evolution R15VAC arrived. Hose ends were dirty as if they had already been used. Power take off socket was really difficult to remove any plug from.
Customer services picked up the vacuum on the 9th June, now over a month later on the 12th July, I've still had zero contact from them. I've emailed several times. It's a shame as I have one of their chop saws which is excellent, but I'll try another brand from now on if this is how they conduct their customer care around faulty products.
I needed a 300mm disc cutter
I needed a 300mm disc cutter, that I could connect to my dust extractor. The evolution r3oo dct disc cutter seemed perfect as I could use it inside as it had the dust port for my extractor and it is electric. How wrong was I, so I connected to my extractor and started work., with in seconds of using it, the room and everything in it was covered in dust. Contacted customer services, I was told as the saw was purchased less than 30days I had to get the place where I purchased it from to sort it out. I was offered a refund on my purchase. I sent another email to customer service at evolution, basically saying the design on the dust port doesn't work after it's sold with a working dust port. I also explained what problems it had caused me. No reply or response from evolution power tools. Would I recommend no is the answer. I have now gone back to a brand I trust and have used for a long time.
Service I cannot fault.
In February 2019 I purchased a 12" angle grinder through Tool Shed. A short while ago after over two years it developed a fault. I contacted Top Shed who promptly sent me a repair form to send the Evolution. The tool was promptly collected and within the week it was returned in good working order.
Brilliant service from all concerned.
Evolution Rage 4
Ho ordinato la troncatrice Evolution Rage 4, ma non mi è stata consegnata, in quanto, in fase d'acquisto, ho detto al venditore che se fosse stato un giocattolo avrei gradito che loro non lo spedissero. Non ho mai saputo lo stato reale dell'ordine, come ad esempio ordine accettato, elaborato, spedito. L'ho ordinata per un utilizzo in cantiere anche gravoso, ma il venditore mi ha detto che per tale utilizzo la troncatrice non era idonea, ragion per cui ho cambiato la destinazione d'uso della macchina, pensando di usarla per tagliare minuterie, anche se a me serviva per il taglio di metalli di un certo spessore. Pur dicendo al venditore di usarla per il taglio di metalli non ferrosi e quindi teneri e che avrei accettato comunque la macchina anche per un utilizzo minimale, il venditore ha effettuato il reso e non mi ha fatto consegnare l'apparecchio, dopo che mi aveva garantito di sbloccare la consegna. Il venditore si è giustificato dicendomi che se mi fosse stata consegnata la troncatrice avrebbe perso non solo i soldi della spedizione, ma anche quelli della macchina, perchè sicuro che la stessa si sarebbe ugualmente rotta da essere praticamente inutilizzabile, anche se utilizzata minimalmente. Se volevo la troncatrice lui la rispediva ed io dovevo pagare €. 30,00 in più sul totale da pagare. Il venditore non mi ha fornito nemmeno il numero della spedizione e non so per quale motivo, essendoci scritto sempre nello stato dell'ordine quanto segue: “In attesa verifica contrassegno”. Dopo questa esperienza negativa, posso affermare con assoluta certezza che la troncatrice Evolution Rage 4 non è idonea nemmeno per tagliare piccoli spessori di metallo, come ad esempio chiodi nel legno e metalli non ferrosi. Quindi, paradossalmente, tale macchina non è adatta nemmeno per un utilizzo minimale e saltuario, destinazione d'uso che avevo scelto io per l'apparecchio, non potendolo utilizzare in cantiere per lavori anche gravosi.
