I am still waiting on reply from two previous emails plus requesting refund from Shein. I placed an order 31Jul it is still supposedly sitting due to order volume during peak season. When I put in yet another enquiry it would not accept my order number. Aust Post have absolutely no record of the tracking number. I would not give this company the time of day. This is my second review on Trustpilot for Shein - this is my first order and will never again order anything through this company

Even though I made sure I put in my new address at least twice apparently my parcel was sent to my old address as I have no way of contacting the people in my old address I am assuming I have just lost my parcel. Rip off. Serious, they dont send the things they were meant to and then just turn aorund and say it appears to be as it is in the picture. Well no its not, considering things are missing. rip offs stay away. go to temu.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I returned my items exactly as instructed, using the courier SHEIN recommends. The tracking shows it was delivered, but SHEIN keeps repeating that they “can’t locate the package” and flat-out refuses to refund me.

I sent proof of delivery, tracking info, and even photos of every item I returned. Still, nothing. Just copy-paste responses with no real help, no accountability, and no refund.

I’ve wasted time, money, and energy over something that should’ve been simple. They took my items AND my money.

This company clearly does not care about customers once they’ve been paid. Zero responsibility. Zero support. I’ll never shop with them again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them too — unless you’re okay with losing your money when something goes wrong.

I ordered a two piece set from SHEIN and when it arrived, shirt was missing in package.
I opened a case and emailed their customer service and provided SKU number of missing item.
In reply email, they asked me to send photo of SKU from bag in which package arrived, I sent that photo. Then reply email they wrote photo is not clear (although before emailing it , I made sure photo is clear). Anyways I sent another more clear photo.
then next day they wrote back ‘send photo of bag without item’, I sent that too.

After that they replied, ‘send photo with item’.
I believe they are purposefully wasting my time so that I stop replying to them and they won’t have to pay me back. It’s a SCAM.
Very frustrating and disappointing experience :(

It is a complete scam. I picked 8 times. Total Cart payment showed $52.47 and free delivery. I was surprised because it looked bit off. When i aded Prices of items it was 36.07. I will never buy from Shien. Horrible scam

Joke of a company, partner received 5 broken glasses due to poor packaging, she returned them for a refund,she received a refund for 1 when enquired about the others she was told they didn't receive them,my partner then sent proof Australia Post had returned them so they then said only received 1 even though my partner sent photos of the broken ones been repacked prior to returning them,they will never be getting another cent from us and will be contacting consumer affairs about these ripoffs

I typically get exactly what I order, but am aware the quality is never GREAT, and the likelihood the designs are stolen or copied from smaller businesses is high. I like this for cheap, generic options where my local options fail to provide.

On the 23rd of April I ordered some items from Shein. The quality of the material is very poor, small sizes and the design from the picture with the items delivered are horrible! They showed one price and when you go to pay the price are changing.
I do not recommend to anybody this fake company!!!

I love purchasing off Shein. I would say I am an unknown ambassador, it is my go to store. Since covid and my transplant, I have really stopped shopping in physical stores due to crowded places and wanting to avoid it as much as possible, because of my low immune system. You should always look at the reviews of the products. Sometimes the quality and style of the clothing item you purchase may not always suit you but refunding the product is easy.
You just organise it all on the app, if you are having difficulties you can always communicate to them via facebook chat.
I have never had any issues refunding my goods unless it states that it is not refundable. So you must make sure that the item you get is eligible for a refund after purchase.
Flash Sale items are never refundable so make sure you know your measurements and once again check reviews.
Remember most clothing items are probably in asian sizing so may be a little off but the great thing about Shein is if your buy it, try it and it is eligible for refund you can refund it. For free return.
You can even use the same bag that it came in to send it back in. They give you 2 sending options post office or a company that does parcelpoint drop offs. I live in Melbourne so I choose whichever is convenient for me the only difference is parcelpoint you got to print out the refund barcode but post office if you work during the week 9 - 5 then it is hard. But I have a supportive husband who does it for me if I can't do it.

Be wary of SHEIN!
My elderly mother was unexpectedly taken by hospital by ambulance, admitted to hospital with life-threatening sepsis. I have had to care for my mother in her own since she was discharged from hospital. I was living away from my home and unable to attend ti my usual activities. I was 7 days over the 45 day return period and this Profitable company would not allow me a refund or credit to my account for clothing that i was only able to try on when i arrived home on that 7th day after the 45 day return period. This company has no compassion for life trauma and the fact that i have been a long-time customer. Not even the decency of a credit to my account in my unusual circumstances!! I will now continue making purchases with Temu and never again with SHEIN. Temu was only to happy to help me with a refund in these same circumstances. Ta ta SHEIN, not just from me but also from all my family members, friends, work colleagues and associates. Hard earned monies will no longer be spent with your company.

My parcel was thrown onto my front yard on the wet grass.
Lucky nobody can see the parcel, otherwise im sure someone would of taken it.

I wish to return a pair of shoes that were too big. However, trying to return the product is almost impossible unless you are close to a parcel point which im not. I found it very frustating. So although i have used Shein in the past and mostly stuff is ok or cheap enough to give away if it doesnt fit. But i will really think twice before I purchase from them again. If they were more open about returns i would shop at Shein more often. And I will warn everyone I know about using Shein.

Shein is deliberately making it hard for customers to complain or request refunds. It’s not just bad customer service — it’s a system designed to exhaust you until you give up.

I received a defective item, and trying to get a refund has been a nightmare. The dress arrived broken straight out of the bag, and yet they’ve made it nearly impossible to leave a review or submit a proper complaint. The option to review the product doesn’t even appear in my account.

We are paying real money — sometimes a lot — for clothes that wouldn’t even be worth one dollar given the condition they arrive in. This is unacceptable and disrespectful.

I will never trust this company again. They don’t care about customers — only about profit.

I ordered from Shein to my address that clearly includes a unit number in a building. However, iMile delivered my parcel to a completely different house with no unit number, no building name, and not even the correct street. I have photo evidence from iMile showing they dropped it off at a house, and photos of my actual building mailbox as proof.

I repeatedly showed Shein the evidence. Instead of helping, they kept asking me to contact the courier (iMile) myself and provide confirmation—despite me not having any contract with iMile. That’s Shein’s job.

It took days of going back and forth, condescending replies, and asking me to “get CCTV footage” when there wasn’t even a delivery attempt at my building.

Thankfully the stranger who received my package returned it to the post office, but it still hasn’t been redelivered.

Horrible service. Horrible communication. If you’re going to outsource to iMile, be prepared for lost parcels and gaslighting.

I have never had a single issue with SHEIN. I’ve never had a problem with a delivery not turning up. Returns are easy and hassle free. Their app is user friendly and I find the quality of the clothing exceptional given how inexpensive they are. I have nothing but positive things to say about SHEIN
