Shein Part 2 of an Order complaint and Negotiating a refund. I ordered 6 tops that were delivered promptly. But three were way too big. The other 3 were passable.
Shein does proforma AI responses, saying they will speak privately to you via Email. After 3 responses, when I asked questions on how they will give me a refund, there's now crickets for 4 days.
This is a scam to make people think that they are resolving the Customer's issue. Nothing of the sort! I am disgusted with their way of doing business. Last time that I buy anything from such a shonky company.

Do not trust this company. I had a parcel supposedly delivered but I never recieved my order. Delivery person was not caught on my security camera. Can not contact a real customer service person via phone. I will never buy from them again and if I could give a -5 rating I would.

i've been using them for a while, but kinda I noticed some hidden fees at the end forcing me to go to the physical store instead. Very annoying.

trying to exchange pants for the next size up BUT can't contact by phone. I don't remember setting up an account as we have ne4ver dealt with them before but when I asked to return items I was asked to enter account details. I have tried by entering the credit card details, date of order, order number but they can't they can't tell me the acct details Iordered with so I can't return items. Chat was useless because it starts by needing your acct details.

The delivery service this company uses need to be slapped absolutely slapped, my goods that I waited for over 2 weeks were apparently delivered this morning. I’m laying in bed this morning and my phone gets a couple of alerts saying goods have been delivered and I’m thinking how is this possible as I had these delivered to where I work and at the time of these deliveries there was no person at work so I’m thinking this must be a mistake and because no one has signed for these goods they will return later but no, I was told the packages had been thrown under the front gate, yes thrown and left there guess what no packages when I get to work who would’ve thought leaving packages out the front of a facility surrounded by more facilities would be a good idea. I have applied for a full refund and I’ll let everyone know how that goes.

Bought long sleeve top which said standard size - when received top was so tight in sleeves and neck it would only fit someone that is size 6 - company state that standard size is one size so would fit all - I contacted company numerous times but couldn't get an answer as to what is standard size - posted garment back only received $11 from aprox $20 and had to pay for packaging as well as postage so only got refund of $4 -will not order from this company again

They use HomeExpress delivery and the service is bad. Email said items would be delivered the following day but I received a delivery cancelled and refund notice the next day. I am waiting for an important item for a friend's party overseas and this has caused much disruption and inconvenience. Will not order from them again.

Ordered six weeks ago paid $90and have received nothing. I had ordered a dress for a wedding and never received it. I am trying to get in touch but no answers. Put a comment on the site but they removed it. I will never buy from them again.

To add insult to injury, Shein are still receiving payments through Afterpay because they will not acknowledge returned goods or stop receiving payments.
This mob need to be run out of town.
Are there no laws to deal with these people?
Nobody should have to deal with such businesses

Sending them screenshots of many many written attempts to contact Shein. Be persistent.

Worst possible website in existence. Promotes products, then puts you in an eternal loop of being in ale to order without singing in but won’t let you create an account. I’ll never even consider their site despite the products on offer

I’m frustrated because I’m trying to unsubscribe from your notifications and every time I try I get an excuse up saying this function is not available, try later. I don’t want to receive emails from you

Stole the freaking package for second time. Posted same photo of just the delivery driver's leg and parcel, no sorrounding area no nothing. Pasted the same picture 4 times. Costumer support us a sitty ai bot on whatsapp that just puts you in a loop, ask for 4 different details, than tells an agent will be with you shortly, if you donot reply, it will message conversation ended because we didn't continued the conversation, if you reply, it will put you in loop once again. There’s no chance vou'll be connecting to any agent, their phone number is always busy

Had my first order from SHEIN 5 items only kept one as the products are quite inferior , also they didn’t refund me on two of the products as they said they were damaged ( 😩 liars ) they sent me black pictures of god knows what couldn’t even tell what it was supposed to be , so please be careful if you use them . I would never ever use this company again , it’s a good way of conning people

Absolute joke. Ordered products didn't receive for 3 months and were damaged. Second order 4 months and nothing. They refuse to refund because the package is still in transit. 3rd time received package only 1 1/2 months late. NEVER USE SHIEN. Never have this problem with Temu or AliExpress

Very disappointing experience. The products are extremely cheap quality — fine for basic dress-up occasions, but definitely not suitable for going out if you expect decent quality. You really do get what you pay for.

What’s even worse is the customer service. I ordered several items and one was missing from my parcel. I contacted them multiple times, only to receive the same copy-and-paste response telling me to “recheck the parcel” because everything was supposedly delivered. Why would I keep messaging if the item was actually there?

It was only a $5 item, so I’ll move on, but I’ll be leaving honest reviews whenever I see this company advertised. Poor service, unhelpful support, and they do not properly honour customer orders. I would stay away.

Tuve una mala experiencia con una compra en Shein, compre 2 prendas, según las medidas publicadas mi talla es M, la campera me quedo perfecta, pero el pantalón, a pesar de ser talla M me queda grande. Y shein NO CAMBIA EL TALLE si te quedo mal. Tenes que devolverlo y te cobran el envío! El pantalón salía $22000 y me quieren cobrar por devolución $16000!! No hay Manera de cambiarlo sin perder mucho dinero!!! No aconsejo comprar en Shein con esas políticas

The first time I tried to submit a review through another service, I was directed to an "email confirmation" page, which I now also highly suspect may be a process to phish one's password for Shein. Now I will change my password on that email account as I do not trust the product review mechanism that took me to the "confirmation" page and asked for my password, stating that mediation with Shein would commence. This indicates a relationship with Shein, hence my furtiveness about this review page and the company involved.
Regarding Shein:
1: What actually happened: I was shopping on the online webpage and was called away from my desktop computer unexpectedly. I had just sourced the same products I was interested in at a lower price (being a pensioner, this is important to me) and had that summary page up on the screen. At the same time, I had placed the previous search results in a "cart". I went away from my computer intending to come back, scrap the first cart contents, and place an order with the new search results.
When I later came back to my computer I found the "cart" contents had been ordered, not by myself, but by Shein. The price was ridiculously higher than the quoted price and I had no control over the process, which I consider unlawful. The items ordered were also not in the quantity that I had wanted.
There is no easy "customer service" route to make a complaint to Shein. There is no "chat" feature, as stated on their website. There is no phone number to call. There seems to be a very unwieldy complaints process that takes endless searching to find initially, and on a second attempt after making an actual complaint (which Shein will "answer in 24 hours" but in reality does not answer, although the company is happy to send you endless emails about your order), is un-findable.
2: As the photos attached show, the purchase price quoted in their summary was vastly different from that charged, which was much higher.
This is not ethical behaviour by a company operating in Australia. I have a mind to make a complaint to the Australian Federal Police and the ACCC about cyber crime.

In placing an order today. One Nightie, one short pj’s and a whole lot of Paint by numbers.
The Art was dirt cheap, too good to be true and trust me it was TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!

When checking out all the Artwork dropped off, I couldn’t order it, only God & SHEIN knows why?
Next thing that happened before my eyes!
The order went through (using Afterpay) AUD 41+ for two AUD 5.50 night wear. No Art at all and Shipping $29!!
Go figure. Shipping was to be FREE
Absolutely unscrupulous of SHEIN , how there you defraud unsuspecting buyers?
I managed (with great difficulty ) to cancel the order and hopefully not be charged.
SHAME ON YOU SHEIN.
You certainly would have defrauded some unsuspecting customer.

I dont trust Shein anymore.
As a long-time SHEIN customer, this experience has been extremely disappointing.

I attempted to return items based on the 90-day policy I had always relied on, only to discover it had been reduced to 45 days without any clear notification. Because of this, my return was rejected.

I have already contacted customer service, but no reasonable solution was offered. Changing a long-standing policy without properly informing existing customers is unacceptable and unfair.

I am requesting an immediate manual review and a one-time exception to resolve this matter. If this is not addressed, I will discontinue shopping with SHEIN.

Once you know how to shop Shein, you can't go wrong. As a bigger person, stylish and fun clothes can be hard to find but shein has SO much to offer. Once you make a few orders you get points for reviews and points for confirming delivery. Free returns in Australia are the best. Great range and always look out for coupons.
