If I could zero stars I would. The app is so really just literature on self esteem that is common knowledge or a therapist can tell you. To cancel you have to email a random email that no one replies to.

I have had a membership with the self esteem app for a few months and emailed their support email to cancel my subscription. It has been over 4 days since I sent it with no reply. The app was very useful, but currently I am getting charged 50$/mo for no reason.

I also am having issues cancelling my subscription. I reached out via email on 8/24 and haven't gotten a response. There's no other way to cancel!! Very frustrating since they don't respond even though they say they'll respond in 24-72 hours...

The app nor site allows you to end your subscription. There is no way of communicating about your account. neither the app or site has billing, password, registration info etc… its just name and thats it… the only way to communicate is thru the email address external to the app or site
theres been no updates to the app in over 2 years… so strange. seems defunct to me.
yet they have charged my cc for a fee. i had no idea that there was an annual fee. I've received no emails from them notifying me of a renewal. Ive received no emails from them since 8/2024.
theres no place to check my current preferences. that page just shows name and whether i want to unsubscribe… no option to see current settings.
i have send an email to their hello at selfesteem dot app to request cancellation. hopefully i hear from them thru this site or the email i sent to them.

You must pay for a subscription when you first download the app, but neither the app or the website has a page for the subscription information, not your signup date or renewal date or anything you can do to monitor your plan details, let alone edit them.
They send no communications, but just auto-charge you for renewal and when you ask to cancel or be refunded, they claim you agreed to this when initially signing up and will not do so without 24-hrs notice before the renewal date, but again, there is no way for you to know WHEN this is happening because there are no emails about it nor is it available information on the app or their website.
Horrible company and business model, stay away from these guys at all costs.
Update 5/13:
I am editing my commet because Trust Pilot has informed me the company is trying to have my review removed because they think it is inauthentic. Like their reply says: this information was DISPLAYED at sign-up, but that was it. If it was buried in the agreed upon terms that I would have no way to view/edit this information without directly interacting with their support team, then so be it. My review is low because there is no record of it provided to you, or available to you, after you move past that initial sign-up screen on the app. Nothing in your profile on the app or their website, you have no personal record of anything you agreed to after you leave that inital sign-up page. I still have my sign-up confiramtion email and this information is not there either, just some onboarding tips about how to get the most out of the app's services. So this company gets 1-star for it's horrible handling of service and SNEAKY ways of auto-billing you because again, you have no record of it, and you have no way to view, let alone edit, your subscription details without contacting their customer service. Why this information is not available to you, the customer, in your own profile, is the question you should be asking yourself. Also note: this is not a US based company. When the subscription renewed, the only reason I knew about it was because my bank informed me of an international transaction and this was it. Otherwise, I would have ended up by like of the other bad reviews where I was repeated charged without my knowledge because they don't send you a reminder about it, nor a confirmation when you pay. You've been warned.

Although the app helped me, be aware of the payments..Oh boy I didn’t pay enough attention and it kept going so I’m now roughly 280$ short because I wasn’t aware of the subscription going - they don’t even send you a reminder that it was renewed. So when you forget about the app you once used, you’re almost tricked.

I paid for a subscription one year ago and then stopped my subscription. I’ve just looked at my bank account which I don’t use anymore to find that they have charged me and I have gone into overdraft!!
I demand a refund on this instantly. I have emailed already. Absolute scum bags.
