It was a great way to save my pets life at the time. The interest is a little high. I guess that is the price you pay to save a life.

I'm so thankful for Scratchpay. This loan allowed me to have 2 more years with my ill cat after having to take him to an emergency vet in the middle of the night. I did not have the large amount that bill came to but Scratchpay immediately approved me and sent the payment straight to the vet and allowed me to make monthly payments I could afford. Their customer service were quick to answer any questions I had if I was ever having a problem as well. I would 100% use Scratchpay again in the future should the need arise.

My dog needed emergency surgery. Even though I have pet insurance, I had to pay the vet upfront and submit a claim for the insurance. Scratchpay approved my loan on the spot and allowed me to obtain care for my pet. I would have had no other resource without them.

I really like the fact that at the time of my appointment I didn't have all the money that I needed and I was able to get approved at time of appointment to get my dog treated. Unfortunately he didn't make it but I still feel I got the best care for him

This is the absolute worst website that I have ever encountered!!!! It is absolutely not easy to navigate and I ended up cancelling my auto pay and all notices. I remembered about this debt last month, still withen the 6 month period. However, the plan reset to a 1 year payment which charges interest. I made a 50% payment last month & wrote on my calendar to pay it off this month. I still did not receive any notices but I was paying off the debt even though I had to put my cat down. I just paid this debt off and I would tell everyone NEVER to use this company until they fix their website.

Second loan i got with scratchpay, but my dog still died. And i'm out of 8k. :(

Be very careful with Scratchpay’s “6-month interest waived” promotion.

I financed about $10,000 for emergency back surgery for my dog and made large payments every month (around $1,000). I assumed the promotion meant you wouldn’t pay interest during those six months.

What I learned is that the interest is actually accruing the entire time in the background. If the loan is not fully paid off within the six-month window, all of that interest is added retroactively.

In my case, the promotion ended and about $1,200 in interest was added to my balance. I called within four days and offered to pay the remaining balance in full if they could make a courtesy adjustment, but I was told nothing could be done.

I understand the terms now, but the promotion can be misleading if you don’t realize that the interest is still building the entire time. Just something for others to be aware of before choosing this financing option.
