I put in a complaint about my service on the 13th April 26 and everyone ignored me. I left the salon with an unfinished damp hair and not the finish I wanted.

I then posted a trustpilot review, and they finally bothered to contact me on the 12th May 26. Despite replying and requesting a refund I was told “ RUSH as a company don't offer monetary refunds” and was offered a free blow dry. I replied the same day saying this is not the solution I wanted. Why would I go back to somewhere I had a negative service? TO THIS DAY 5th August 26, i have been ignored and had no reply. This is awful and likely a breach of their complaints policy. DO NOT rely on them to rectify situation if it goes wrong. A customer should not be chasing for a complaint to be handled.

I have received a cut and balayage from Sonia recently and was really happy with the service provided. She talked through what I wanted and truly listened to what I needed, asked for reference pictures to make sure she understood the ask and was overall lovely throughout. She also advised me on how to look after my hair considering the post-pregnancy hair loss and recommended some products.

I really appreciate that this salon now has someone at the reception so the hairdressers can focus on the tasks/clients at hand and not interrupt their service to pick up phones or manage walk-ins.

I noticed that some clients pass by to say hello to the hairdressers and I find this really great. It shows how good they are at their job and that they build meaningful relationships with customers.

It was lovely seeing the staff again and Lidia is always very attentive. She knows my hair now and she is very talented when cutting and styling. She takes time and I am always delighted with the result. Thank you.

I've been going to Rush Kensington for 5 years and have had a great experience each time. Dario gives me a great haircut everytime!

Maddhi at Rush Bromley is a wonderfully skilled hairdresser. Had lowlights. They washed out after 6 washes, not the 16-20 specified by Kensington salon. I complained but they said it was outside their 2-week window. I wash my hair every 4-5 days? They have never asked to see my hair which I believe is their corporate policy, instead they blamed sunlight, the porosity of my hair [again unchecked], and shampoo [I use quality shampoo for dyed hair]. Very disappointed as someone who has gone to Rush for over 20 years.

I came into rush and had my hair done by Derek. He was friendly and kind and did a great job on my hair. When I first left the salon i realised that it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I called him up and came back in. He understood why I wasn't quite happy and added some more to my hair. I was very nervous to go back and 'complain' but he was so lovely and my hair looked perfect after. He took into careful consideration the previous damage to my hair and what my end result was and worked around that. Amazing people, amazing service. Couldn't recommend more :)

I had my hair done by Lucy and she was absolutely amazing. She took such great care of me, was so warm and bubbly, super chatty and friendly & she did the most amazing job at my hair and I left feeling amazing. 10/10 Recommend

Lena has previously coloured my hair to perfection and I returned for a cut. Lena totally understood what I wanted and I love my layers. Thank you Lena, sorry for the delay, I should have done this review sooner.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience at the York salon was extremely disappointing.

I booked a half-head of highlights, cut and blow dry with Jasmine because my hair is thick, coarse and slightly wavy, so I specifically wanted an experienced stylist. On arrival, Jasmine advised that another stylist would be doing my cut and blow dry. I explained my concerns, but was reassured she was experienced.

I want to be fair – the colour was lovely and I am very happy with my highlights.

Unfortunately, everything after that was a huge disappointment. I showed photographs and explained exactly how I wanted my hair cut, but it quickly became obvious that the stylist lacked the confidence and experience to deal with my hair type. The cut was very minimal and when I asked for more weight to be removed and my layers to be addressed, it still wasn't done correctly.

The blow dry was equally poor. Rather than properly styling my hair, it was mostly blasted with the hairdryer before moving on to straighteners. After around 40 minutes of repeatedly straightening my hair, another member of staff was asked to look at it. By then I was so frustrated that I simply asked her to stop. Another stylist kindly offered to help, but by that point the damage had already been done.

I have been left with the worst haircut I have ever had. One side is noticeably longer than the other, the layers are uneven and there are different lengths throughout. It bears no resemblance to the photographs I showed.

To make matters worse, I was charged the full £150. Whilst I am happy to pay for the excellent colour, I do not believe I should have been charged in full for a cut and blow dry that fell so far below the standard I expected.

Before posting this review, I contacted the salon directly to give them the opportunity to resolve the matter. No reply from Salon , Unfortunately, I have been left feeling that customers who specifically book experienced stylists should not be passed to someone who is clearly still developing their skills without their agreement.

Sadly, based on this experience, I cannot recommend the salon.

I enjoyed my time in Rush hairdresser Westfield and it was a relaxing experience . I like Rush hairdresser store is very stylish posh atmosphere . I went there for wash and haircut . I really liked my hairstyle with layers . Claudia my usual hairdresser stylist is great and she washed my hair and massage my head. It was calming and she cut my hair really well . very professional. I bought the usual L’Oréal hair mousse product that she used on my hair after blow dry. although it is very expensive however my points were redeemed so the price was little better then too expensive . Im very satisfied with customer service and I would going there again . I would need my hair colour dye soon maybe in September . Im very happy with Claudia the hairdresser stylist and friendly service

Had a great experience at Rush Hammersmith yesterday. Hair was cut and styled by Natasha, who was fabulous at cutting hair as well as really lovely 😊 Would absolutely recommend 💯

Ruined my hair, then argued with me about it. Avoid!!!
Asked for a soft, bright all-over scandi blonde with a clear reference photo. Got sparse, patchy foils and a result far darker and ashier than my starting blonde!. Raised it in salon and was told it was “just the lighting.” Absolute gaslighters.
They promised “senior colourist” rectification the next day was actually carried out by the another junior stylist. My hair is still patchy, still ashy, still wrong. Now paying another salon out of my own pocket to fix it before a wedding this week!!
Two appointments, hours of my time lost, real distress, and Rush’s haven’t even offered a genuine apology at any point. Don’t risk your hair here…lots of amateurs that don’t know what they’re doing and TERRIBLE customer service!

I have been visiting Rush since it first opened a branch in Brighton many years ago as a student and somehow have managed to remain a loyal customer since! Having had many different stylists over the years I love that they really listen to what you want and also have the knowledge to know what's possible and what will suit. The lovely staff in Wimbledon always make my appointments pleasant and fun and particularly my Stylist Victoria who goes above and beyond to help me achieve what I want and help me keep my hair healthy. Definitely recommend.

Always a pleasure to go to Rush in Staines. You are made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Recently had my hair coloured and Naomi made sure we were both happy with the outcome. She took her time and did not rush! Ha! Ha! Highly recommended.
