Great product, makes good espresso. Custmomer service not great though, very brief and rude responses when they bother to answer.

I bought a filter for my daughter in law for Christmas, so I obviously don't know what it is like but it is what she wanted.
I found the ROK website very easy to use and they were extremely good at letting me know when my parcel left their waare house and when it was likely to arrive, it was all very quick and efficient.

Very fast delivery and since I have the ROK my wife is waiting every morning to get the fresh coffee. And it gives me the opportunity in the time I make the coffee to consider the day planing or soltions for tax problems...

I have been fortunate to own both the grider and the coffee maker. Both really are standout additions to the kitchen always getting admired comment with visitors, both with regard to the looks and to the taste of the coffee they produce. Having lived with these devices for over 5 years now(yep apologies Rok for not having got this review done earlier) I have to utterly recommend both for the quality of the coffee they make and the sheer beauty in the way they look, they make my 11.am coffee break an absolute pleasure. Can I recommend just a small addition to the grinder in the form of a metal and mesh lid to place snuggly over the coffee bean hopper to prevent the beans jumping out in the grinding process I currently cover that with one hand whilst turning the grind handle with the other. Great work though guys and thankyou.

I really love my ROK Coffee-Maker, but - about your site I have something to be said. When I want to look on some item, that I can order additionally or as a spare-part, I only can add it to cart, but not look at it before in some more detailed description including more pictures. For example the kit for renovating my ROK - I see no possibility to have a look at what is included in this kit? How can this be? Maybe there is, but if: then its not easy to find...

When my Baratza Encore finally gave up the ghost after 5 years of solid service I was excited to get a grinder that was quite (cannot deal with electric grinder noise in the morning, especially before I’ve had coffee) and also something looked great on the bench along side all the other coffee toys I had accumulated over the years, so I finally decided on the ROK grinder after watching a number of glowing reviews about ease of use and especially grind consistency. Unfortunately I have not been impressed. While the large crank is easy to use and I guess it doesn’t take too long to grind enough beans for 1 cup, I have actually attached it to the bench because it would jump all over the place as I ground. Mine does not have a ‘sticky’ bottom. So that problem is solved for now. However the thing I’m most disappointed about is the grind consistency. I have tried to adjust it and have even added some teflon tape to the shaft to reduce the amount of wobble in the burrs but my end product ranges from dust to course sand. Perhaps mine is defective in some way but I can’t figure out how to solve it. I have not had a problem with static that some people reported in reviews and I bought a silicon lid to keep the bean from jumping out when grinding. Overall though I am looking at moving back to an electric grinder, most probably the Baratza Sette.

I have a Rok grinder it cam with the aluminium grinds catcher now I have two of the bamboo ones. They are much better (taller so less mess when you get staticky beans). Arrived really quickly - love my grinder.

Ordered ROK Espresso GS & Grinder GS, the shipment was in time and delivered in tact. Both are fulfilling my expectations with only slight downsides.

I would expected to have the Espresso GS shipped with more detailed instructions.

I found the the gap control of the Grinder GS slightly ambiguous and suddenly found the lower part turning without notches touching, maybe just the center screw was loosened. Since then it has worked fine with over 20 grindings.

The espresso I manage to get with a short use has turned to be quite good and I am happy I got these machines.

Brilliant invention. Great tasting coffee. Light, no power required, perfect for our boat.

I'm writing from Hungary. I received the package on time. The postage cost was not significant either. I love the neked portafilter. Unfortunately, after Brexit, I don’t really know how I’m going to order from England. Recommended

After 10 years my old Presso could no longer do the job. It had always made excellent coffee. The new GC Conversion Kit has worked brilliantly and transformed the old machine.

Oh Canada... I am a high use owner of the 1st generation ROK from when it was called the Presso. Recently I was having problems Patrick from ROK responded to my international emails and walked me through troubleshooting. When a problem was finally discerned, knowing that the CDN distributor was not going to be able to resolve my issue quickly Patrick took care of me. People, this company cares about your experience no matter where you live and they stand behind their product! I didn't even know this kind of business integrity even existed anymore. What a breath of fresh coffee! ROK On!

Ok, so the upgrade kit arrived in good time.

Fitting it to my original Presso unit proved to be very difficult due to various parts of the main chamber being badly machined.I had to scrape away quite a lot of excess material left over from the machining process to get it to fit properly. Also the O ring for the plunger was very difficult to seat properly, I had to gently prod a lip of it into position and eventually it worked.

Whilst it now makes acceptable esspreso suitable for an Americano coffee I definitely cannot get any Crema at all.

Definitely not what I had expected.
